It'd be a better idea to simply ignore the shortcomings of the sample and map intuitively, since the intuitive beat is what the player is going to play anyway, considering they are a mere 20 ms different.
The first slider is good because there is no audio before objects, it's a free 4 notes to establish the BPM and offset.
1/16 repeats are risky if the BPM is high and in this case it causes the repeat to be 20 ms long, which causes easy unfair breaks.
