hello 10nya!
decided to give this a look since the hitsounds made me feel uneasy :/
00:40:224 (1,2,3,4) - i feel this is a little too intense for what the music provides. 00:41:176 (2,3,4,5) - feels a lot more powerful, yet is easier to play
00:42:128 (3,1) - combo usage here seems inconsistent with how you did combo's later on 00:44:668 (3,4) - 00:47:208 (3,4) - etc.
01:00:541 (1) - and yeah this is really awkward because of how close it is to 01:01:811 (2) . ending it on the red or blue tick would've been more appropriate
01:06:255 (1) - there is nothing on the white tick specifically, the fade in comes a little after it. tbh you might as well remove it
01:17:684 (3,5) - not entirely sure what these are following, the other ticks you skipped feel a lot stronger 01:17:843 - 01:18:319
01:19:747 (2,4) - ^
01:22:287 (2,3) - similar kind of thing, the emphasis feels off. also you should add whistles to 01:22:605 - 01:23:081 - and remove the one on 01:22:763 - to follow the main melody
01:27:208 - i feel as if your hitsounding doesn't complement your rhythms at all. you are hitsounding to every 2nd beat, yet your rhythms are following the melody which leads to lots of anticipated claps to be skipped 01:28:795 - 01:30:065 - etc. imo, using whistles or something for the melody would've been more appropriate. sliders like 01:44:985 (1,2) - have no hitsounds on the head yet at 01:46:414 (4) - you're emphasising the melody with a clap hitsound which is extremely strange
01:47:208 (1,2) - using whistles here instead of claps works better with the strings. also there is nothing in the music that sets apart 01:47:366 (2) - and 01:47:208 (1) - so the hitsounds should be the same
01:47:843 - 01:51:017 - 01:51:970 (3) - another example of how you're hitsounding to a track that you generally aren't following.
01:48:636 - whistle?
01:49:589 - missing a circle or something? generally you utilised 1/1 pauses 01:48:319 (3,1) - 01:52:128 (4,1)
01:50:382 (3,4,5) - quite uncomfortable to play imo. after everything was so back and forth, using linear flow can catch ppl off
01:54:033 (2,3,4,5) - 01:55:144 (1,2,3,4) - why dont you stay consistent with previous patterning? the kinda stuff you did with 01:52:605 (1,2,3,4,5) - works well here
02:03:239 (4) - finish cos strong beat, like you did with 02:02:763 (1)
02:02:763 - you should probably take another look at the clap usage in this part. there is no reason why you should hitsound 02:03:081 (3) - over 02:02:922 (2) - when all of the beats are the same kick drum in the music.
02:04:271 - add note for triplet? u mapped the other triplets in this section 02:03:319 (5) - 02:03:795 (9)
02:06:255 (3) - why not something like
http://puu.sh/tXDIE/ae81be90c5.jpg to keep the circular movement from the stream?
02:06:652 (1) - you can finish this spinner on the red or blue ticks, since the sound doesnt actually end that early and you dont need as much recovery time in an extra
02:13:874 (3) - why finish this on the blue tick? there are still melodies on the red 02:14:032
02:19:588 (3) - ^ same with the rest of the extended sliders. they dont really work in this section imo ;w;
02:31:969 (3,1,2) - ctrl g rhythm? emphasis seems the wrong way around
02:35:143 (1,2) - i dont see the need to do this, the music hasn't really picked up or changed yet to be changing your patterns. ppl will just break here since they are expecting a 1/6 reverse
02:56:255 (2) - not really a fan of this artificial hitsounding
02:59:905 (1,2) - seems inconsistent since you normally started ur claps on the red tick 02:56:255 (2)
03:07:842 - 03:08:477 - hitsounding every 2nd beat no longer works out that well since the time signature is 3/4 so the claps end up on all sorts of beats
03:08:477 (5) - nc for downbeat?
03:13:397 (2,3,4) - misleading, since the hitsounds imply that you are hitting 2 notes yet there are 3 here
03:18:953 (1,2,3) - flow seems pretty restricted here, when everything else has such high spacing
03:28:159 (1) - extended slider doesn't work well since you are skipping over the strings on 03:28:318
03:28:159 (1,2) - comboing seems a bit strange. shouldn't these be swapped?
03:30:381 (1,2,3,4) - could pay more attention to the violin here by making 03:30:858 - clickable, since most of your rhythms were following the melody 03:29:429 (5,6,7)
03:35:778 (1,2) - swap nc
03:41:810 - dont think the clap is necessary
03:45:937 (2,3) - ctrl g rhythm? emphasis on strings
04:12:921 (5) - clap should be here instead of 04:12:604 (4) - ? since you normally put claps on the 3rd white tick of each measure 04:13:874 - 04:14:826 - 04:15:778
04:18:635 (3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5) - claps all over the place
04:27:524 - and in this section you don't use many claps, when it's just a repeat of the last section which makes it very inconsistent
04:51:492 - you should change red tick samplesets to soft, so you can emphasise white ticks with hitsounds. you did this in the last kiai 02:57:207 - 02:57:524 - and it works well
05:57:524 (8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - the drums are so weak at this point, it's honestly overkill to map this as a full stream. breaking this up with 1/4 reverse sliders would be a lot more appropriate and makes the build up stronger
05:49:270 (1,2) - 05:53:080 (1,2) - 06:00:699 (1) - these are 1/8
the hitsounds are really concerning, since they aren't really following the music at all and don't work with the time signature. imo you should just use normal sampleset for strong drums, whistles for the melodies and soft sampleset for everything else that isn't important. 02:40:858 - is a great example of this
best of luck !
