You know, this never gets anywhere when soulfear is involved, as in it's not really objectively lacking in quality. Over and over again, fear's maps have also had this kind of quality and it's like the stigma of skystar, you either like it or you don't :/ I've always liked fear's maps because of, in my opinion, the fluid kind of flow that he is able to get, and it's a kind of flow I've never been able to get. And go figure, I enjoy skystar maps as well. As a mapper, it's not like my words are coming out of my ass, though.Lust wrote:

This difficulty lacks heavily in quality.
It just annoys me when people say maps like these lacking in quality, because really it's just an opinion and a debatable one at taht. Perhaps I'm too oldgen now, who knows.
I just think there needs to be more appreciation, and if not appreciation, at least no condemnation. like damn, basic logistical information are whatever, but the amount of hate is unreal.
i guess we'll just see how soulfear responds, but i don't think he'll take these suggestions fully to heart. and i ain't tryna start no argument, mun
things like 00:03:974 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4), 00:09:641 (3,4,5,6,7) and 00:42:641 (1) - to 00:50:530 (1) that were pointed out as examples of lack of quality are actually some of my favorite parts of the map
Whilst I do agree that the map could be polished, I feel that opinions concerning subjective understanding of the music should never be used to justify quality issues.
Not trying to argue against dq though. Just my two cents
