I found DZU more appropriate than ZU for the commentators to understand, that's all. This is because zu alone would point at "Z" sound being a fricative. Whenever I hear the Japanese speak zu, I can feel some kind of plosion, this is why I used DZU for commentators to articulate the sound in the best manner possible.

as to DU, if you want to use IME as to type for example 片付ける, you are to type du on your keyboard for the correct zu syllable (unless your IME is very intelligent as to correct you).

Thing is silm, you can't use common sense to try to figure out invisible rules in a tournament where many of the visible rules lack any
