Andrea is sad because this set isn't set to tick rate 2.

[Easy]
Should raise the volume a bit. It's pretty quiet...
01:07:831 (3) - New combo
01:09:487 (1) - Remove new combo

[Normal]
This would look a lot better with circle size -1
00:52:521 (3,4,1) - Move these down and right 2 grids.
01:05:142 (2,3,4,5) - Rather boring with no hitsounds

[Hard]
00:06:590 (3,4) - What rhythm is this? :/
00:37:211 (3,4) - ^
00:40:521 (3,4) - Gah, now they're suddenly everywhere. At least during the intro most of them actually fit the song. Now they're just kind of there to be wrong or something.
00:28:935 (3) - I think this would have more impact as circles instead of a slider

[Insane]
These hitsounds are way too quiet. Raise the volume overall a bit.
00:21:280 (1) - Why the slowdown? There's nothing here in the music to really indicate that kind of drastic velocity change.
00:23:142 (1) - This section is kind of a mess spacing-wise. You switch between 1.5 and 1.2 all over the place with pretty much zero consistency.
01:14:866 (3,4,5) - Suddenly tiny spacing. Move that out a bit.

Hard's use of bad rhythms was kind of annoying considering the general difficulty level of it. Insane and easy were way too quiet and the Insane needs to normalize spacing so that it's at least consistent with itself.

00:06:590 (3,4) - What rhythm is this? :/ if you listen carefully there is a synth playing at 00:06:590, and immediately the vocals start at 00:07:004; this is the best setup i can think to cover both sounds
00:37:211 (3,4) - ^ this is similar, except in reverse
00:40:521 (3,4) - Gah, now they're suddenly everywhere. At least during the intro most of them actually fit the song. Now they're just kind of there to be wrong or something. my rational is the same for all these; covering both the instrumentals and vocals. If you disagree with me i dont mind changing them, but this is just what i think represents the music best
00:28:935 (3) - I think this would have more impact as circles instead of a slider sure
I will post my update once Garven replies about the issues on the 3/4 sliders ><

jonathan:

It's your choice on the rhythms - I simply find them distasteful against the main crux of the music at that point and compared to your primary focus with the mapping overall in the map. If you don't want to change them, it's fine.

xChip:

Take your time - this entire week is going to be hell for me, so I might not be able to do a full recheck until the weekend anyway.

Orz finally fixed my computer @.@ (OMG Hard disk is broken T_T)

Garven wrote:

[Easy]
Should raise the volume a bit. It's pretty quiet... Raised the volume
01:07:831 (3) - New combo fixed
01:09:487 (1) - Remove new combo fixed

[Insane]
These hitsounds are way too quiet. Raise the volume overall a bit. Also raised it a bit
00:21:280 (1) - Why the slowdown? There's nothing here in the music to really indicate that kind of drastic velocity change. I thought it played better, anyways fixed~~
00:23:142 (1) - This section is kind of a mess spacing-wise. You switch between 1.5 and 1.2 all over the place with pretty much zero consistency. Snapped the section to 1.2
01:14:866 (3,4,5) - Suddenly tiny spacing. Move that out a bit. fixed

Hard's use of bad rhythms was kind of annoying considering the general difficulty level of it. Insane and easy were way too quiet and the Insane needs to normalize spacing so that it's at least consistent with itself.
Thanks for modding Garven~~ :3/
Updated my diffs/Umi's w8ing for jonathan's update :3/

[Insane]
Let's clean up some of the remaining spacing at the end of this
01:16:314 (3,1) -
01:18:590 (5,6) -
01:19:625 (2,3) -
01:21:487 (3,4) -
There are others between these too, but these are the biggest offenders. Try to make it more uniform and more obvious when you're using jumps. It's still all over the place here.

Hi.

  • 00:02:245 (3) - The biggest problem about these sliders is that the distance between (3) and (4) is the same as the distance between (3) and (2). I'll refer to basic osu! standard guideline "Beat placement should follow the time-distance equality rule". So, to be sure nobody misunderstands your rhythm, nobody thinks that (4) is another 1/4, either make (2) and (3) closer (http://puu.sh/57qv7.jpg) or (3) and (4) farther (http://puu.sh/57qx7.jpg)
    00:03:900 (3,4) - Same here.
    00:05:969 (4) - Same here.
00:07:831 (6) - Same here, even though it doesn't seem to be too close, still the heads of sliders are close enough. You should separate 1/4 combo (00:06:590 (1,2,3,4,5) - ) from 1/2 combo (00:07:831 (6,1) - ). Try this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1077406
00:43:314 (2,3) - This is a quite bad rhythm. You're not used to play offbeat 1/4 sliders. Here they both start at blue tick, which is not that hard as white and red. 00:43:418 - for example, at this point, at the white tick, sounds a bass sound, which should have been emphasized, but it is placed on a slider end, when player doesn't hit a button. In this case, you can try these rhythms instead: http://puu.sh/57qPe.jpg http://puu.sh/57qQa.jpg http://puu.sh/57qQz.jpg
    00:44:969 (2,3) - Same
00:51:280 - I really doubt that this speedup is needed here. I don't think the song gets 1.5 times faster or harder in kiai, it barely gets a 10% increase in tensity. I'd not make it 1.5x, but 1.2x at maximum.
01:04:004 - This is again a blue-tick problem. You start a stream from an offbeat note, so it's quite hard to understand when to start presing buttons after the repeating slider. This should look much better: http://puu.sh/57r17.jpg
01:11:142 - This slowdown looks even worse than the speedup. It feels that you just have set the kiai end artificially, since almost nothing changes in the song itself. But you make a huge difference in the SV. If you want to keep the speedup, let it last until 01:24:487 - , same for kiai time.
    01:17:245 (1) - Same blue tick stuff here as at 01:11:142 -
— Hard

  • 00:18:176 (1) - This should be placed closer to the previous slider maybe? http://puu.sh/57s2m.jpg Idk, this is the only jump that didn't feel good for me.

Sure it will!

How about changing the kiai on all diffs to match Jonny's difficulty?
@ Umi's Normal -- this has a different ending than the rest of the difficultly. Mind matching it with the rest?

Let me know.
