So like, is Taiko Lite supposed to be a muzukashii? Because it seemingly doesn't feel like one. Too many triples where there shouldn't be and yeah... just a tad bit too hard for a muzu. Taiko Lite is and never was intended to be a Muzukashii since this song simply doesn't fit a Muzukashii or other way around (that's my opinion as I find the atmosphere of a song very important when mapping); it's meant to be a way easier Taiko though still hard (due to the BPM).

Just asking if there's a special purpose for using x0.99 in most parts, instead of x1 ~

01:27:627 ( 115, 123 ) - I'm not sure why only these 2 notes have finishes included. By referring to this finish pattern, you may also want to add finishes at ( 99, 107, 131, 140, 148, 156 ) ?

02:11:924 ( 1 ) - I guess you're trying to make this note x0.96 to connect sections of x0.92 & x0.99 . But actually the current timing point is 02:11:925 rather than :924, making it useless ( Current note is still in x0.92 ). Maybe you should fix that ~

02:11:924 ( 4th kiai ) - Diff spread is way too big when compared with previous parts, esp 77~109 & 125~134, where the hitsounds changes are too complex to be hit correctly. I know the streams are fitting the music, so I'm not forcing you to fix.

02:27:042 ( 175 ~ 216, 1 ) - Similar to above. 1/3 hitsounds patterns could be too complex ~

00:40:987 ( 31 ) - Red note ? ( The vocal here is lower than 30 & 32. Also the ratio of blue notes in this small part is almost 100%, reducing the hitsound effects in the song. PM me if you don't understand this )

01:35:245 ( 26, 27 ) - Both red notes ? ( Similar reasons to above. This fits the vocal more & prevents lots of blue notes in one part, which reduces hitsound effects )

02:03:838 ( 46 ~ 48 ) - o o O ? ( To create variations on hitsound patterns & avoid repeating with ( 49 ~ 51 ) )

Well, hitsounds & patterns are nicely-used

I found 1.4x overall just a little-little bit too much as it had some weird effect on me with the stacking (might just be me but the 0.99x didn't really bug anyone and it feels better for me for which reason soever, so I will likely keep that o.o).

Applied suggestions and tried to make 1/3 parts a bit more clear~

Also, as for this update: Fixed an overlap between two sliders, nothing major.

The 'Taiko Muzukashii' is the very first version of Taiko EX-Tinction and hard as fuck, don't even try it! - It's just in here on a temporal basis for people to download, DO NOT MOD IT, I WILL REMOVE IT LATER ON!

Thanks for your feedback, I will consider your opinion in maps that are meant to be played by people like you while this one clearly isn't.
Note: I can not click this myself but I still deem it fitting without being able to 'pass/play' it - why? Because not being able to simply click something doesn't mean it is bad or unplayable, I am physically unable to do so, so what is the "fault of the map/-per" in there?

If you want more calm maps or easy FCs, go for other maps and not 256BPM metal - if you disagree with 1/4 notes in maps, well that is your problem, these compliment with the music and I won't remove them because of this; this is how I map this song and not how I place 1/2s on a song where they don't suit its atmosphere to the fullest just for the sake of your people's full combo.

I don't give a shit about fc-ability but fittingness of the map to the song - this is not meant to be easily done and people should learn to see map, song and everything related as union but just to rate one thing 10 and forget about the rest without giving a shit on what they do.

In other words: I don't really care, this is meant to be played by those people who appreciate it, which are mostly the people I am asking for tests of this and not the general mass, as it is visible by BPM, Approval and my name in the creator's place.
Yes, I am an asshole, if you want to put it this way and I won't stop mapping for anyone who can't even get along with what they are talking about; this is my opinion and you are free to disagree and differ with/from it.

There is nothing to equal the song better than streams there - I prefer sticking to the song's atmosphere (and "huge" difficulty spreads should be fine when it comes to "INSANE"/Approval maps as long as they fit the song, which this one does) over shoving FCs in people's faces where it is inappropriate, which is the case in here.

The song and guitar go nuts, so does the map, even though not nearly as much as before.

The stream part can easily be remapped using quick return sliders and/or slider-streams combined with bursts of 5 notes. There are tons of ways to make an initially difficult guitar solo into something achievable and fun and still challenging, without breaking the flow of the map.

When/if this gets approved, you will see a huge spike on failed right there when the stream part begins, and that's hardly positive. Also considering how far in it is, doesn't really help.

Uhmm I think you are both right up to a point. On the one hand I completely understeand what Jenny says about the song being that way. The song suddenly goes nuts and those streams fit perfectly.

This is 100% true. Achievable, fun and still challenging, that's what it should be like. Now it's just challenging and not fun because I can't actually enjoy it because it's too damn hard, sure, I can pass it but not always, and I don't really have a lot of fun with it.

I've seen some of your maps, and they all have the same issue. You too, would benefit from keeping your maps sane.

*00:27:511 (2) - Okay, I can't figure out why you want it this quiet. It always makes me think when I play this map. How about leaving the volume alone, and swapping to a soft default set for this note only? Maybe a whistle too. Suddenly it makes more sense, atleast to me!
*01:02:199 (7) - Eh, well this isn't unrankable or anything, but for some reason I miss it every time, atleast when not thinking about the map. Whatever, nvm.
*01:17:785 (3) - To be frank, I think that having a new combo here instead of at 01:17:433 (1) makes much more sense, because here is the spot where a drastic change in the music occurs. I can see that your current combo follows the vocal, however the vocal is quite subtle there and this has a huge impact. Maybe change this?
*01:21:418 (1,2) - Yeah, new combo on that 2 instead of 1. You kinda did here what I asked you to do in above suggestion, however it is one note too early. Don't mind the big white tick, follow the music instead!
*01:25:285 (4) - New combo please.
*01:38:174 (9,1) - Ew. Please, change this. This spacing breaks the flow completely. I can see the reason behind it, but I don't think that's a good idea, it plays terrible and doesn't fit the music either.
*01:48:956 (6,7,1) - Hm, I don't like how this flows. If you can think of something better that's not entirely different, I would be really happy. You could, for example, reverse the slider 1 and do something with the next circle and slider, this way the flow wouldn't change so much in such a short period of time, and would feel much more pleasant to play.
*01:51:418 (1,2,3) - Spacing. Make it more even please.
*01:52:238 (5,6) - Also spacing here. Because you made the spacing uneven before, for a reason I can't find, this pattern is forced to have the same gimmick. Change please.
*01:54:582 (7,8,9) - This could use some re-location. First of all, well the spacing, it's not unrankable or terrible, but it could be better. Unlike the above, I find it more intuitive and less annoying to play. Second, judging by the patterns you use everywhere, they don't really "shadow" anything. For example, take a look at 01:53:761 (3). You didn't use it's starting or ending point for anything. Maybe move this slider and these 3 notes a little just so they actually create a pattern that you used almost everywhere?
*02:04:542 (1,2) - Hm, music tells me that if you reverse these 2, they follow it better (I mean, first the slider, then the circle). Try it and see! (you did this after this part and it sounded nicely, it confused me the first time like this cause I heard an unmapped drum hit where the slider goes over it)
*02:17:199 (3) - I have to ask you do change this a little. It's nearly completely hidden behind hitbursts. I am not content with approving this pattern, sorry. Something like thiscomes to mind.
*02:22:471 (11,1,2,3,4,5,6) - This spacing needs to get fixed. I am already against jumps in streams, but please, atleast keep the spacing readable. In the complete chaos of hitbursts, a person will have a really hard time noticing wtf is going on here.
*02:23:293 (6,1) - This is the biggest reason why I am against those jumps in those streams. This spacing feels too big. Lowering it could cause reading problems. I suggest that you reduce all the jumps in these streams, at least a little bit, and then lower this a bit as well. I read what other people wrote in the thread, and for some part I have to agree that this spacing could use a change. Streams themselves are fine though.

I can see that you're trying to follow the melody, however I don't think this is possible to be mapped correctly, in a way you did it. Believe it or not, the drums are mostly 1/3 here, and this is what makes me go ?!?!? here. This is a very crude solution, but it works. Sadly, you lose some of the intensity, however I believe that such a spinner brings something new here, and that is a buildup. You had intensity without a buildup, now you have a buildup without much intensity, but this way you don't have people going wtf is going on here and it still makes sense and doesn't make it any less epic. This part of the song is freestyle and if you choose either to go with 1/3 or 1/2, both will sound wrong.

As we already discussed in the game, I have to disappear for a little while. Will check the taiko diffs later this week. Also, I spoke to Onosaki and he believes that the same issue I pointed out in standard (02:27:159) appears in taiko. Maybe you should focus on that part and probably make a spinner in all diffs, because it's quite problematic.
Overall a very nice map, was really fun to play. A bit silly in the stream part, the flow breaks, but I hope you consider some of my suggestions to fix that.
