yo, just a few things. No need to kd me.

[Sheeps]
  1. First of all, the DS feels rather inconsistent. try to improve it a bit. For this relaxing song, the DS changes are a bit confusing. I'd rather keep the DS consistent (with some jumps, antijumps, ofc. but not too many)
  2. Secondly, I recommend you to improve curvy sliders. For example, 01:23:860 (2) - can be improved into something like this
    Also, there's an awesome guide, which could be useful for you. Read it here!
There's also a problem with the SB, it's unrankable, as it is now. I guess we should do something about it.

Just pointed out a few things to work on. Hope it'll hlep. Oh, and add my username to the tags!

I don't know if its just part of the song but bits of the mp3 seem a bit choppy, sorry if it's part of the song but makes it a bit less relaxing

It seems hard to get some beats as precise as they want to be because of the low BPM, I'd be tempted to ask someone more experience if 1/8 could be used to achieve this, very wide gap now

00:59:957 (4) - Personally rather this without the clap, up to you
01:19:641 (1,2) - I think these would be better spaced apart.
01:21:985 (4,5,6) - I'd space this according to distance snapping. A few notes looked like they wanted a bit different but I couldnt check, but this one stood out
01:26:672 (4,5,6) - I'd remove overlap here cause normal
01:43:310 (3) - I prefer this a tic later and extending to where 4 is without claps at end slide
01:47:059 (2) - this clap sounds out of place to me
01:50:809 (7,8,1,2,3) - I'm not too fond of the hitsounds here, maybe try quieter or moving them around a bit
02:05:806 (2,3) - Make these more spaced

01:51:980 (5) - this doesn't sound right as a slider, a beat seems better I just can't ignore drums on the red tick, but I don't want to overuse circles here, so the slider fits great, imo
02:12:601 (5) - I think I prefer this as a slider then a note where the reverse would end this would be too tricky for this diff, sorry :(
Are you going to add Kiai time to this difficulty? Probably makes sense if you do on normal since that's a guest diff I can keep my own kiais. so, I'd prefer to use only kiai-fountains

General thoughts
  1. Overall you got a nice mapset here, but your difficulty settings between those two difficulties are way too big and it needs to be fixed. So, for this very reason you should raise up your beginners settings up a notch. Example settings could be 2-3-2
  2. Yeaah, Fycho covered the general stuff otherwise so fix that ^^

Beginner
  1. 00:04:184 (4) - Since beginner difficulties are kind of slow, usually a combos that tend to go over 5 or 6 are pretty long. (this is just my opinion, of course) So, you might want to consider adding a NC here.
  2. 00:11:683 (3) - ^ You get the idea by now (hopefully), if you agreed to do this, keep doing this
  3. 00:08:871 - This beat here is quite powerful and it's not very nice to ignore it, consider adding a whistle here. (this means that you have to add whistles to similar places like this also to keep your whistle pattern consistent)
  4. 00:16:370 (2) - I think overall this slider is fine, shape-wise.... not that much. Really the curve isn't the best because of that redpoint and it also creates an awful bump there that shouldn't be there. Here's an example picture for you how to improve this shape!
  5. 00:21:994 (6,1) - Do you mind fixing the blanket here?
  6. 00:41:678 (3) - The slider here has a nice shape, I like it very much but the main reason I brought this up is because it can be better in a way. As you can see here http://puu.sh/7co9X.jpg the blanket isn't perfect and again, the slider has a weird bump. Do it like this instead to fix both of them?
  7. 00:59:488 (5) - Usually sliders that end on a big white tick is bad, because of this you're kind of ignoring the powerful beat there that could be played but it's not ''wrong'' so feel free to keep it.
  8. 01:26:671 (3,4) - Blanket?
  9. 01:49:168 (3) - You forgot a whistle?
  10. This was very well done, great job!

  1. Because the song is so calm, a map deserves easy and rather calm settings, right? Just lower your HP + OD by one tick, I think this would make it better when playing but it's your choice.
  2. I don't see you using any whistles at the intro, why is that? Remember to add them, please!
  3. 00:18:244 (5) - The curve of this slider is a bit bad, sorry, this is a way to improve it though!
  4. 00:21:525 (4) - The second point in this slider feels really random and it makes it pretty bad, try removing it?
  5. 00:25:743 (1) - Sliders like these can be done only with 1 point since we have the new system, so this would apply to 00:30:899 (2) - , 00:52:927 (1,3) - and so on...
  6. 00:51:989 (5,6) - Remove the NC here to be consistent with 00:48:240 (1,2) - and 00:44:490 (1,2) - ?
  7. 00:56:676 (1,3) - These shapes aren't the most beautiful again, to improve this, you might want to try something like this instead!

1. Slow maps require more aesthetic part than fast ones, so you must be careful

*with variety you doing, e.g. 00:22:931 (1,3) - look at this transition in shapes, not nazi just bad
2. Flow
*watch you flow 00:22:931 (1) - 00:37:460 (5) - 15 seconds just clockwise flow

3. Hitsounding
*just soft whistle ever white tick is quite boring
4. Difficulty
*I see a lot of potential in this song to have at least 2.5+/3+ stars diff, you should think about mapping/adjusting diff

Because I modded it a long time ago, i had to re-mod it. We fixed some issues with sliders and repeats ending on downbeats, improved some patterns and shapes and also fixed unsnapped timing points on spinners. Additionally, for some reason, spinner on Beginner diff had unsnapped end, so it is fixed too.

Well one thing that's very noticeable is that that you haven't removed the background and because you cover it up with a black background the SB load skyrockets up to a constant 4.0x
If you follow this guide(t/55177) You can remove it and then SB in your background at the end instead. Also because the default background when it's removed is black you won't need black.png

It's also a good idea to remove the transparency on pj.png baka.png and diff.png

Some of your backgrounds are slightly misplaced. Like cutie002 is placed 319,236 in the SB. Look at the osb and fix so they are at 320,240.

  2. According to ranking criteria, There must not be any unnecessary transparency around storyboarded images, so crop and resize them as possible. 5.png, baka.png, diff.png and pj,png don’t meet this rule, please crop them.
  3. We usually don’t use album name as source. Ranking criteria writes: Only use the Source field if the song comes from or was made famous by a video game, movie, or series.

Suggestions:

Please consider to redo your SB lyric and name files. Most of them clip the letters and/or shadow effects on the lower end of the sprite. You can avoid this by increasing the dimensions a bit and not crop to the basic font but the rasterized effect as well. Additionally you should add a 1px empty border around the whole sprite to avoid filtering artefacts.



This should be a really quick fix and a fast re-rank.
