Hey there random mod because I like this song ~
[General]
- Offset 1,215 ~ so it's on the right downbeat and better timing (+32 to current offset). Don't forget to resnap all notes and move inheriting sections. I tested and modded it with this offset so you might want to change the timing first =P
- Imo the mp3 cuts out too soon, I think you should add fade out for longer so it's less noticeable that it's been cut.
- The title of the song is 「Battle Theme 1 - arrange -」 from FINAL FANTASY II according to itunes. You can check the title at VGMDB How to change the title can be found here.
- The source should be "Dissidia Final Fantasy"
- Your tags are kinda messy and unrelated remove "tifa, cloud, aerith, vi, vii, 7" ~ not really related unless you want to go ahead and add every character in dissidia and their games. Add "the emperor, FFII, FF2, duodecim, 012" ~ that should be enough.
- In my opinion the spinner you are using now is too white and bright. It looks really weird compared with the BG, I think it would be better to use one that's a similar colour / theme to the current BG or use the default spinner.
- Please resize "spinner-osu" so it's no bigger than 423 x 128 right now it's bigger than the others and looks kinda weird. Also might want to consider removing the charter image because it looks odd
- Please resize your combo bursts so that they are no bigger than 388 x 767.
- Please change comboburst-0, comboburst-2 and comboburst-3 so they are orientated to the left side of the screen.
- Why are you using Terra and Cloud and combo bursts? Why not just use the 2 characters from Final Fantasy II? It will fit your BG =P
Okay now onto the mapping.
[Hitsounds / Kiai]
- On all difficulties soft clap does not fit I recommend removing it. This is a hard song to hitsound, I'd recommend finding custom hitsounds that fit the song or using a little soft whistle and soft finish. I looked through my custom hitsound library but couldn't find anything that fit so maybe someone else can help you with that.
- Imo the kiai time doesn't really fit the song that much and would be fine without it. It looks especially strange on Insane when playing so please consider this.
[Easy]
- AR +1 and Hp Drain + 1?
- You should try to work on some more patterns for this difficulty. At the moment it's quite linear, try smoother curves and patterns and be creative. ^_^
- Try to make your sliders tidier and try to use less straight lines. This guide might give you some ideas / tips.
00:13:183 (3) - Move this right so it doesn't overlap with 00:11:983 (2) -
00:16:415 (1,2,3,4) - I think it's better to try and follow the violin here, 00:17:615 (2) - doesn't follow anything and sounds strange. Maybe try longer sliders.
00:29:583 (2) - Flip this slider vertically and then respace for a better flow.
00:37:215 (1,2,3) - 1/1 doesn't sound great here. Consider using longer sliders here instead?
01:05:215 - Note? This sounds odd blank. Stack it on top of 01:05:415 (1) - ?
01:14:415 (2) - Flip it horizontally an then respace for better flow.
01:22:015 - Break is odd here, map it like the other difficulties please.
01:34:015 (4) - - End at 01:36:615 - to follow the violin end.
01:37:415 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5,1,2) - Consider using some sliders here the single notes can be kinda hard to catch because of the gaps in the rhythm. If not at least try to come up with a cool better here, atm they're just in a straight line.
01:43:815 (1) - Start this at 01:43:615 - ? Or start it earlier and end the map in the same place as Insane
Overall I think you could work on making some more patterns, improving the rhythm a bit and tidying up sliders.
[Normal]
- AR +2. The map looks very cluttered and confusing right now.
- HP Drain and OD +1?
- Consider increasing the 1/2 spacing on this map. Right now everything is close together and it looks cluttered and doesn't play very well. If you increase the spacing do 1/2 doesn't overlap it will be much more fun to play imo.
00:11:815 (4,5) - Jump is confusing and unexpected. The extra return is hard to predict especially for normal. Space this like regular 1/2 please or use 2 1/2 sliders so it's clearer.
00:16:415 (3,1) - ^
00:21:615 (4) - This is in a very awkward position, it would be better to place it in line with the end of 00:21:215 (3) - imo.
00:22:015 (1,2,3) - Move this further away if you do ^ to make the map look much neater.
00:25:615 (3) - Try to improve the curve of this slider. Also stack it with 00:25:215 (1,2) - to make it look much better.
00:28:015 (2) - Flip this horizontally and respace for better flow.
00:35:415 (2) - Start at 00:35:615 - and add a note at 00:35:215 - it's a better rhythm imo. Also there are too many returns, it's unexpected. Try to use some notes or shorter sliders here instead?
00:37:615 (3) - Same thing about the returns
00:41:815 (1) - Same suggestion as 00:35:415 (2) - use a similar rhythm.
00:46:615 (4) - 2 returns again, it doesn't really fit, better to use 2 sliders or just notes. Also consider adding a longer slider at 00:47:215 - to follow the violin
00:49:815 (4) - ^
01:05:415 (1,2) - Spacing too close?
01:09:415 (2) - Delete doesn't follow the song.
01:10:815 (6) - It's better to follow the main rhythm and keep this 1/1 imo.
01:12:215 (2) - Spacing is too close, try not to put anti jumps in normals.
01:22:015 - Break is odd, keep mapping here please.
01:33:415 (1) - A returning slider or 3 notes would actually fit here better lol.
01:34:015 (2) - End at 01:36:615 and follow the violin.
01:37:415 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3) - I think you could come up with some better patterns for these notes.
01:44:415 (1) - This spinner is very short for a Normal, start it earlier at 01:43:615 - or end it in the same place as Insane
Overall I recommend working towards reducing clutter in the map by increasing the spacing a bit, try using less 1/2 sliders and come up with some patterns in these places too. Rhythm is much better on this diff which is good ^_^
[Aldwych's Hard]
- HP Drain +2 ~ it shouldn't be similar to Normal
- End this map in the same place as Insane?
- When playing it feels like you're overmapping this with too many 1/2 notes. Try to follow the melody of the song a little closer.
00:10:815 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - I don't understand this slowdown it doesn't make sense. Just compare with 00:36:415 - they are exactly the same but no slowdown there.
00:15:415 (6,7,8) - Why not follow the violin here instead of stacking 1/2 notes?
00:17:415 (6,1) - Strange anti jump here, it will flow better if you space them out some more.
00:19:215 (6) - Delete this note? It doesn't follow the main melody and sounds very strange because the other notes in the combo do.
00:24:415 (2) - Keep this 1/1 like 00:20:815 (2,3,4) -
00:25:615 (1) - Reduce the volume 30% sounds good.
00:37:215 (6) - Extra return is odd, why not use this opportunity to come up a cool pattern?
00:46:015 (1,2,3,4) - Hmm these stacked sliders don't look or play great, I think you could space them out make a pattern with them instead it would play better.
00:50:615 (4,5,6) - Instead of stacking why not move these away and continue the pattern?
00:51:215 (1) - Reduce volume to 30%
01:02:015 - I think x0.50 is too slow here, I recommend using x0.75 instead.
01:02:015 (2) - End this at 01:02:615 - to follow the violin
01:02:815 - Consider starting a new slider here to follow the violin and end it at 01:03:415 -
01:15:615 (4) - Delete, doesn't follow the main melody which you follow with the other notes in the combo.

01:17:215 (9) - Delete if you do ^
01:18:815 (2) - Delete?
01:23:115 (6) - Very strange to use 1/4 here, I think you should keep it 1/2.

01:29:815 (7) - I think this is better as a single note to follow the rhythm of the song better.
01:34:015 (1,2,3) - Slowdown here is strange again, I think keeping it regular speed of x0.75 is better.
Overall you've got some nice patterns here but I think you can improve the rhythm of this map. Try to use less 1/2 and follow the melody of the music closer. Also the slowdowns are pretty strange and not consistent so take a look at those =P
[KonataN's Insane]
- Sorry but this diff is completely overmapped. The 1/4 triples follow nothing in the song and the huge streams at 00:20:415 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13) - and 00:23:615 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13) - don't follow anything either! Please try to cut down on this overmapping it's not great and you should be trying to follow the song you're mapping not mapping over it.
00:00:415 (1) - These types of sliders aren't really rankable anymore and they don't look great anyway. If you want to use a similar design make the distance between the red points smaller.
00:08:415 (9) - ^
00:13:015 (3,4) - This jump is huge, you should consider reducing it since it's the biggest jump in your map and a big difficulty spike.
00:25:615 (3,4,5) - I think you should reduce the volume here a little since the music is softer here.
00:36:415 (5) - Same thing about this type of slider.
00:39:415 (1,2,3,4,5) - This is cluttered after 00:37:815 (1,2,3,4) - I think you should space this out more.
00:51:215 (3,4,5) - Same suggestion as 00:25:615 (3,4,5) -
01:34:015 (1) - The end of this doesn't follow the song, consider doing something else here or use 2 long sliders so it ends at 01:36:615
01:36:815 (2) - Sounds bad, maybe just delete this and start the spinner earlier?
Overall the flow of this difficulty is good but it barely follows the song almost as if it was mapped to something else. The streams and triples don't fit and although you have some great ideas here I think it'd be better if you tried to follow the song much more closely ^_^
