Modified version of NUTS diff: dl















old changelog
-3/15/16- Finished all diffs completely with hitsounds. Had to resnap end spinners. Also updated tags.
-As of 3/17/16- Fixed some metadata and cc erorrs, Trent83 mods
-3/18/16- ReFaller mods, shortened end spinner throughout all diffs
-3/20/16- Anxient mods + Self mod. Hitsounds more consistent throughout all diffs. Kiai time reduced. Some mild flow changes and more favorable rhythms for stronger beats.
-3/21/16- Minor self mod, some more rhythm adjustments and mapping change in NUTS
-3/24/16- Huge mod from Spork Lover, fixed pain in the but timing issue in INSANE \:D/

00:07:123 (1,2) - doesn't really flow (though not sure if you're going for flow)
00:16:011 (4,5,6,7,8) - inconsistent scale of spacing reduction (reduces by .05x, then .25x, then .33x)

01:04:900 (4,5) - is this supposed to blanket? It really isn't at the moment

01:54:678 (3) - I would say rotate this anti-clockwise a bit to flow from previous circle
02:28:456 (1,2,3,4) - seems out of place to have these 1/8 connections when the only times it appears elsewhere in the map you make the volume almost nothing

00:08:685 (6,7,1,2,3,4) - for which these follows? This slider stream and two circles before don't have that much sounds in music to be a slider stream. Listen the song again.
00:15:130 (3) - a little too long, shorten it to get 1/1 slider
00:15:907 (4) - then move it 1/4 beat earlier. Fix spacing should be necessary.

Difficulty spread:
I'm writing the spread in order: It should gradually go up (CS is acceptable as it is.)
AR: 2, 5, 7,6, 9, 9, 9,7 (Since you play around with finetuning on the hard diff, you could do that for the other diffs too. Like.. 9.3 on Extra, 8.4 or 8.6 on Insane, and maybe increase AR to 2.4 and 5.3 on easy and normal. (Keep in mind that the jump from 2-7.6 is very hígh, and the insane and extra has the same AR (Which is gonna get commented on even more later probably.)
OD: 3, 4, 5,7, 8, 8, 9,8 (Here, I'd change the extra OD to 8.6 and the insane to 7,4, normal to 3,8 and easy to 2,7 to: 1) have that funny finetune like on the hard diff and 2) make the spread more equal. :)

^ I'm mentioning all of this because the map-set is VERY gimmicky (and cool because of it), and the weird stats would compliment that a lot. Play around and see what you find best :3

There's a (or more) timing points that conflict with the insane diff, look at the AIMod on any diff.

Song Setup:
The green and orange color is (compared to the gray tones), too bright. Consider toning them down a bit to compliment the background further ^^

03:04:018 (1) - I saw that people were commenting on that the spinner should be removed, and I don't see a reason why it should be removed. You'll know that the song is over when you're spinning, so it makes no sense to remove it. (tl:dr: Don't remove it imo, will make situation worse)

Apart from that, I think we're good. :)

00:00:907 (2) - Since you made this curvy, 00:04:463 (1) should also have a small curve due to it being roughly the same sound.
01:56:018 (4,5,1) - The slider makes this pattern a little weird imo. Consider a small curve or something similar. (Main reason is because the slider end doesn't form a square pattern with 01:57:352 (1,2,3) - )

Normal

00:11:574 - Imo the ending of this spinner should have a clap sound.
00:14:241 (1,1) - I can't find the reason why both notes are NC'ed :o, I'd understand if you switched 00:14:907 (1,2) - those two NC's around, due to two emphasized beats. (A bit like you did here 00:21:352 (1,2,1) - )
00:28:018 (3,4,5,1) - Nice pattern, but I think that you should stick to a 1/3 slider for a normal diff. :)
01:25:352 (1,2,3) - To make it a little easier for a normal diff player to play, space the triple. :)

02:50:463 (3,1,2) - Wow that is a tricky pattern to read for a hard diff. I really don't think that a smaller DS for the quicker notes will help enough, but I could be wrong. This occurs a lot of times here, so I know it's your mapping style, but be careful with those :)


Insane

In general, I think this diff is a lot messier than the hard diff, due to lack aesthetics, like there was on the hard diff. In general some patterns should be more tuned. A few suggestions are mentioned below, but there are probably a few more. :)
00:35:795 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Instead of a weird curvy stream, could this work? http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4772816 (This is due to the (imo) low amount of aesthetics). I think it would still keep the gimmicky mapping style that you're trying to accomplish by doing this, while adding a certain prettiness to the mapset. :3
01:10:240 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - The pattern is alright, but the aesthetic values are still a lot messier than the previous diffs (There needs to be certain similarities.)
02:06:684 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - The pattern is a lot harder to play than you might think. An aesthetic pattern that would make you able to play it better AND be prettier could be something like this: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4773116 (The reason I think this is prettier is because the beat here is 1/3's, and the triangle emphasizes that it's 1/3 :3) (Also, the triangle doesn't have to be perfect like the one I made. Make it gimmicky if that suits your style more.)
02:34:684 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - That pattern is amazing, nuff' said x)

Keep in mind that there might be more sections that could use aesthetic polish, but the map is REALLY fun! (This is the difficulty I think that needs the most work though! :) )

Extra

00:16:018 (1) - The back n' forth pattern makes the NC awkward. Either change the pattern around a bit, or change the NC.
00:40:907 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I LOVE that you brought this pattern to the extra as well <3 Much love, yesh.

01:39:574 - to 01:53:796 is perfect imo. I can't find any problems here, so keep the changes to a minimum here, 'cause it's super consistent and fun :p
01:52:907 (4,5,6) - To spice up this triangle pattern, you could NC all three :3.
02:09:685 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - This stream could accelerate instead of slowing down.
02:13:574 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - All of these sliders should have a lower SV if you wanna keep 'em, 'cause they're way too hard to read atm ('Since we didn't encounter them yet. Do some sort of build-up first.)

Final Words:
Generally, the mapset is REALLY fun. It's a completely new take on mapping. The only inconsistent difficulty is the insane difficulty, because it has patterns, that don't exist in the harder nor' the easier diffs. But I definitely think you can make something out of it, 'cause it's still a fun diff! I really hope you'll get this ranked at some point ;) GOOD LUCK!

If I did a build up, that would be kind of inconsistent regarding the music (I mention consistency a lot because I feel it's important, there's already enough crazy patterns in this diff). These are perfectly readable as kicksliders already because the sv stays at 2.0x. No change.

Final Words:

You have the ability to include lots of blankets in the diffs, but I'm only gonna give a couple :p
This mod may not be very helpful ;-;

One thing is that you have your kiais turning off and on, which can cause lag and can be kinda distracting, so kiai could be at 00:18:685 - 00:32:907 - 02:12:463 - 02:26:685 - and from 02:30:241 to 02:36:463.

  3. 00:00:907 (3,4,5,6) - spacing ok lets start with this first, the spacing in this mapset sometimes looks chaotic, specially when you do circle patterns with different gaps in the timeline, for example 00:00:907 (3,4,5) - the 3 objects have the same spacing visually talking, but different gaps in the time line, you can argue someone can read this spacings and it's true, but they aren't intuitive to play and are super uncomfortable, so I'm strongly against them.
    People usually think extra diffs use a random spacing, but isn't true they follow a theme, pitch, lyrics, comboing etc. I have a hard time figuring some of your spacing in this diff, so I'll suggest you to take a look of some more extra diffs and change the spacing in this one to a more consistent one, consistent in this case doesn't mean the same spacing over and over, but to follow theme and apply that consistency to similar parts in the song, take as example 00:01:018 (4,5) - vs 00:01:352 (6,7) - , 00:16:130 (5,6,7,8) - etc
  4. 00:01:796 (1) - rhythmsome parts have a really weird rhythm in this case the beats are mapped correctly with the exception that you are starting a slider in a not that prominent beat when you compared it to the tail and the repeat, just by grouping the rhythm differently it will represent the song better, for example you dont map a piano sound with a slider ending it on a cymbal, at this specific case using a circle + a 1/2 slider would represent better the different instrument in the song, grouping them together is ¨fine¨, but not awesome. Other example can be 02:09:352 - basically the active strong beats need a click action slider start or circle, weak beats can be mapped as passive beats slider ends
  5. Hitsounding try to add more volume to some parts in the song, because actually some sections the hitsounds are barely audible (the hitsounds merge too well with the song/ volume is too low etc), the main task of hitsounding is to give players a feedback when clicking objects, so try too make them a bit more notables.

Anyways you have really nice ideas, but they need alot of work, mapping a really hard diff as this one require alot of experience at mapping or playing, I'd strongly suggest to you keep modding other people maps, playing and mapping more, so you can get more knowledge of how to build a diff like that. Can be done don't worry, is like riding a bike, once you got it you never forget.

  1. 00:10:685 (1) -when you found this kind of situations, you want to add a spinner, but you can't add a hitsound the spinner start a good technique is to add a circle and start the spinner 1/4 or 1/8 later depending of bpm and difficulty lvl. That improve rhythm and hitsound, since you can't add hitsounds at the spinner start.
  2. 00:15:130 (2,1) - overlapping sometimes can be good, but this kind of overlaps looks more like a mistake from the mapper than an intended pattern, so avoid overlapping unless it looks planned.
  3. 00:29:352 (2) - usually you should add NCs to kiai start, also try to keep them consisten in a pattern around the map, ofc you can break them when something special in the music happen or when you try something new, but try to keep them consistent mostly, since they affect the HP drain, also your map looks more organized.

  5. 02:29:907 (4) - this is a special moment in the song! you did well at dividing 02:29:574 (1,2,3) - and 02:29:907 (4,5,6) - but also you can NC 02:29:907 (4) - to let the player know about it.
Basically the same general comments for the 3 higher diffs, that were just general input so they apply too all the map in general.

Hard

  1. 00:15:574 - same rhythm problems as the other diffs.
  2. 00:17:796 (1,2,3,4) - streams on hard diffs aren't that common thing to happen and the rhythm is so similar to the insane diff, reducing rhythm is also important when mapping a lower diff, for example a player will not find fun playing a hard with the same rhythm as the insane, but less spacing, so try to do variations double repeat sliders + circle work well with 5 beats streams.
  3. 01:23:574 (1) - grats see!! this is awesome, go and make the overlaped ones awesome too.
  4. This diff seems a lot better than the insane and both extras, but still some things from the previous input apply here too.
I'm super worry at the 3 hardest diff, especially at the nut one, I can point issue by issue, but that will end in a huge mod that repeat the same over and over, so I think a general advice is better in this case, anyways GL with this and keep improving

In the example you posted, there is a big exaggeration on the lead here because it is on the drop of the song which places a large exaggeration on the lead (which you only hear in the chorus, as well). Here is the same idea 00:15:130 (2) - Besides for those two examples, I'm going back to see any stronger beats I should have mapped, or weaker beats I can disregard. For example 00:19:574 a slider here instead of 2 circles, and vise versa here 00:39:574 . I'm also deleting the hard to play and random 1/8 sliderends (with the exception of slider streams, which are appropriate), like here 02:14:241 and here 00:38:241
