Hi everyone! Today I discovered this internet radio station: https://anonradio.net/

Any other recommendations? Please recommend internet radio stations featuring human-made content. Thank you!

I can’t imagine many people still listening to radio on here

you can do that without a radio, in fact, it has benefits and you can also consult lyrics at any moment, skip songs you're not vibing with, rewind, you're not tied to a schedule, there isn't a guy talking over it, etc.

Great ambient radios for when you're not in the mood for complete silence, but don't want to listen to music either. The second one is more repetitive, so I stopped listening to it at some point. Still, it was great for a few years.

Also https://r-a-d.io/ is nice (it's anime music, duh) AND you can request bangers, but I usually infrequently listen to it only on New Year's Eve.

Thanks for all the discussions and recommendations. I listen to internet radio to discover new music and sometimes share it by requesting songs. Some internet radio stations, like anonradio, offer not only music but also programs on various topics. Listening to these radio stations allows me to discover content I might not have encountered before.

Oh wow, I did not expect to see anonradio mentioned here. I've listened to Screwtape's show a few times.

Sadly I don't have any recommendations for other sites. I would have said di.fm, but apparently you've got to pay for it these days :-/

Barely related, but I have an Alexa in my room and it's mentally handicapped. The room could be silent and it would just turn on and start playing a random radio.

People driving with music on are a menace and should be eradicated.

Isn't driving with music on normal? I actually can't recall anyone I know who drives without music playing through their phone or radio.

A lot of people do it but it's insane. You're either focused on driving and don't really hear the music or you're listening and not focused on driving.
But considering how many people are on the phone while driving it's far from being the worst thing people do.

Isn't it pretty normal to listen to music in the background while doing things in general? It doesn't really matter if you don't hear it properly, it's just something to increase dopamine

I personally don't listen to music much, but Karmines take is quite rare.

Normally I won't listen to music or the radio while I'm driving either unless I'm in the mood for it. But in my case it's because I'm a bit of an anxious driver and I get too afraid that the music would be too distracting, even though it'd probably be fine.

i hate driving
