i don't want to play vidya, i have my playstation for that, i just want to browse the internet which is why using the mac is better for me. in general if i had a choice i would choose mac products simply because they're more "bare bones" than other OSes. same with my phone, i've got an iphone 8 simply because it just does the job, i don't need apk files or anything, i just want to scroll on tiktok and message and call people and my little iphone 8 does that perfectly.
Any and all computers can do that, regardless of operating system.
I'm not sure I would call MacOS "bare bones". If anything, it isn't bare bones at all. It comes out with everything an user might need. They aren't the best, but at least they do work most of the time.
i probably could've worded myself better on that; i'm aware that any operating system and computer can browse the internet, that goes without saying. it's hard to explain, but for me i only ever use computers to use the internet and all i need is something simple for that. i don't need cortana and clippy, just a web browser. (and i'm well aware you can get rid of cortana and clippy has been gone for a long time, i used to be a windows main too you know?) but like yeah, i just want simplistic stuff and mac does things simple enough for what i'm using it for.
that's why i called mac "bare bones". because it just has all the essentials and nothing extra. for me, the definition of bare bones is just the essentials of something, but i can see how my words might have been misinterpreted. when i use a computer, i don't want the best, just something that works is good enough for me.
