My friend told me osu lazer got pp so I'd thought I'd get back into mania and play it. To get to the point I've been jumping up and down like #10,000 placements and I don't really know why. I get there's a difference between osu lazer and osu somehow but when I switch betweens modes I'm in the same placement until it decides I go up or down. I don't really care all that much for rank besides generally improving I'm just curious why this is happening. I'm assuming it isn't just pp getting changed over and over lol.

Lazer uses a different bonus PP calculator/engine. this means if you are going back and forth between stable and lazer then this will continuously happen. This will be rectified in the future when stable gets the same PP engine that lazer is using.
