so, how is this gonna play out?
essentially, it's exactly as the title says! for every post on this thread, i will memorize a digit of pi. personally, i'm kinda proud of my ability to memorize things - so i'm hoping this will work out.
the only RULE that i'm going to be adding is that:
· if one person posts twice (or more) in rapid succession, then only their first post will count. this is to prevent people from spamming the thread purely by themselves.
how am i going to prove i'm actually memorizing?
one of the ways i thought of this was to record my screen (i only have one monitor) and recite the numbers out loud. this is to make sure i'm not reading the numbers from somewhere else and am actually, y'know, doing the challenge. if you have any other suggestions, feel free to share them.
as for the video, the plan is to post it here on a daily basis. whenever it happens i will just update and link the video on the main post (this one!).
what happens if i fail the challenge?
considering i want to do this challenge daily (which means i have limited time), i may end up not being able to do it if/when the number of posts get too big. at which point, i plan to giving 6 months of supporter to whoever made the most interesting posts under this thread (based purely on my own opinion). this is to encourage quality > quantity, so people don't just post a single "a" and call it a day.
now, with all of that being said, go wild!
