If you are referring to osu! private servers, please don't. Doing so puts your account at risk because the game client can send your account credentials to a 3rd party.

private servers aren't really that exciting honestly, cool for a one off but that's about it
i should make my own server so i can have #1 rank
Why joining a private server? I'm always top 1 in local leaderboards

Private servers pose security risks for reasons already stated. People have had their credentials stolen including one of GMT or Dev members, and there has been a zero-tolerance ban on it since. I don't care if you think you have a method for avoiding that - NO. Some people are too dumb to take security seriously, and then you have people like me that do but still manage to get into situations such as getting own discord account stolen. If you fuck up your osu account that's on you.
