[General]
  1. since you have no GDs make your kiai the same in all diffs
  2. i think you need a easy for this mapset because the normal diff imo is a bit hard for the easyer diff of the mapset
[Normal]
General:
  1. the setting are to hight for a normal i would recomend to sue AR 4 and OD and HP 3 if you think that your AR is fine, just set down the HP and the OD to 4
Spacing
  1. your spacing in some points change random to 1.00 or to 1.20 when you follow 1.1 spacing,try to fix those points i'll mention just some of them
  2. 00:19:320 (1) - like here the next is 1.20
  3. 00:23:698 (3) - next is 1.0
  4. 00:30:908 (1,2) - if you look good here is an unperfectstack since the difference to the next object is 0.02 and it should be 0.00
Placement:
  1. i think you used to many stacks that normaly ppl use in a hard diff or confusing patterns that are not appropriate to the easier diff of a mapset
  2. 00:07:217 (2,3) - this pattern looks better like:
  3. 00:10:050 (1,2) - i agree with patterns like this but i totally desagree to patterns like : 00:14:428 (1,2) - are a bit confusional imo in the easier diff of the mapset
  4. 00:15:200 (2,1) - try something like this here:
  5. 00:19:320 (1,2) - i don't really like this overlap
  6. 00:22:668 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5) - confusional pattern

Aaah connecting through phone so I really cant point out which things I didnt apply, but well applied almost everything. Though still cant see spoilerboxes, i will check them later. No update for now, thanks Lallynyan~~

00:31:681 (2) - I think having notes under slider ends is unrankable for normal diffs, move it to the top of the next slider
01:00:265 (2,1) - bit of a spacing inconsistency here, can be deceptive for new players because the spacing appears as 1/2 but the timing is 1/1
01:52:282 (1,2,3) - this pattern is a bit difficult to read because of the overlap, one possible way to fix would be moving the first slider.

[Hard]

I think this diff plays better with AR8. You have a lot of sliders with 1/4 timing difference and those are much easier to read with AR8. As well as the pattern jumps. You might want to get more opinions on this though.

So excited to see a map for this/Bat For Lashes in general. Only got a few notes on here, all subjective.

Normal
  1. 02:27:818 (1,1,1) - Given the nature of the thinner texture of the song at this point, all of the loud whistles at this volume seem to cut through a bit too strong.
Hard:
  1. 01:01:295 (1,2,3) - Not a problem, just a commendation; looking at this and patterns like it in the editor, it doesn't look like a naturally-flowing pattern, but in gameplay the execution is fluid. Well done.
  2. 02:16:101 (2) - Soft whistle at the beginning of the slider, perhaps?
  3. 02:27:818 (1,1,1) - Same criticism as Normal.
Not very many things I can complain about here without fishing for nitpicks. :P

I will work on it tomorrow, I've been trying to fix my hitsound-folder and changing all S:C1s to S:C2 (a BAT member told me to do it) for maybe 3 hours ;_;

Your objects seem to be altering from instrument to instrument which is pretty annoying.
After a few seconds on the music, i started to get confused on which beat to follow: The piano's or the loud beats/claps?
Try not to change the rhythm from instrument to instrument, that's all I can really say.


Aaaand a few of your objects are off-timing and I might as well point them out:

00:15:590 (5,6,7) - Why is this part so slow, when the piano notes are obviously rushed here? Another part that caught me off.

My mapping style is something like "map the first instrument you hear" Sometimes piano is on front line, sometimes bass, sometimes vocal. if there is vocal, i mostly map vocal and if not i map what i hear the loudest.

  2. 00:53:774 (2) - What I hate personally about these sliders when trying to make a blanket is.. the curve is always not looking good. always. I tried to make it look better with some really small changes, you should try it out:

It would be better if you try to emphasize this point 00:17:207 - instead. All you have to do, is to reduce the slider by 1/4. It would also be better for the next object.

I was an idiot when I timed this placing the metronome on the wrong place to see if anyone would pick up on it, unfortunately not. Move the timing point over onto 4332 which will have all of the major downbeats fall correctly into line.

Kiai suggestive change:
  1. First kiai to end on 00:57:894 - instead.
  2. Second kiai (new addition) to start from 01:02:014 - until 01:14:374 -.
  3. Third kiai to end on 02:07:937 - instead.
  4. Forth kiai (new addition) to start from 02:12:057 - until 02:24:417 -.
Personally I really think the difficulties should only have that single spinner located at the end ( 02:40:898 - until 02:42:958 - ) just so they can keep tapping out the audible rhythm in every other section of music the other spinners cover up.

Just some of the variances with distance snap were visually apparent to me which I would like for you to go over and touch up. I won't mention them all here otherwise it'll be a rather monotonous task without any real purpose in "modding" but just generally try to get them all to be at around 1.1x snap with ± 0.1x variances.
  1. 00:08:452 (1) - Wasn't a fan of the body's whistle as it sounds gaudy and out of place.
  2. 00:08:452 (1,2,3) - Nothing wrong with this but just for a bit of tidying up why not stack (1) over where the latter (3) ends?
  3. 00:10:512 (3) - Whistle missing from this slider's head.
  4. 00:10:512 (3) - Same slider again, this time I'm just wondering why it lasts for so long? I reckon it should do either of the following:

  14. 01:54:546 (1) - Not a fan of kiai/strongest part of a song starting on slider ends, especially not a repeat slider's end as it really takes away the feeling of getting into the best part of a song. Remove the repeat and replace it with a circle on the chorus interchange.
  15. 02:03:816 (2) - What about a rhythm change here to say...

The style of this is a bit awkward for me to offer any helpful fixes/corrections without ruining your style so It'll be quite a limited mod since I have never mapped like this myself.
  1. 00:13:344 (2,3,4,5) - These kind of overlaps I have never liked playing/reading as it is quite confusing on an original sightread run. I won't link the other ones just in case it's a personal thing you wish to keep but ideally I would really like for the overlap to never happen as it sort of ruins playability.
  2. 00:30:083 (2,3) - Feels a bit random for the 1/4 slider spacing onto next full length.
  3. 01:09:224 (1,2,3) - Just CTRL + G each of these sliders individually for an amazing flow addition here.
  4. 01:14:117 (4,5) - Rather sudden and unexpected change in spacing which is really hard to pick up on unless you're focusing a lot. Chuck a NC onto (5) refardless as it starts off the next phase of music.
  5. 01:14:632 (1,2,3,4) - Change the order of these a bit to go like so for some fun jumps; your choice -
  6. 01:17:980 (3,4,1) - Jump change here to something fun?
I had a lot more of a mod for this but I ended up removing it since it was basically just wondering where the flow went.I don't know, map sort of confuses me as there isn't much of a set sense of a certain flow or symmetry mapping with most sections looking a bit awkward with objects (in my opinion) set at random. Just my personal opinion on the matter as others might really like it.

  5. 00:41:156 (1,2) - rotate them slightly so they point towards 00:42:186 (3)'s end? they feel more connected that way I think.
  6. 01:40:641 (5) - I know this is intentional, but still I'd prefer is this were moved to the same place as 01:40:126 (3).
  7. 02:11:027 (1,2,3) - this looks rather random. o.o (maybe I just don't get the pattern.. xD) it's nice that you alternate the three sliders in the same direction, but maybe you can think of something better than this like you did here - 02:15:147 (1,2,3).

And sorry for noob modding, this was kinda hard to do, cause I have a sliiight aversion for straight horizontal and vertical sliders. '__'

Personally, I'd change the combo colours.. they look unharmonious. and I prefer colours that match each other more. s: i choose 3 colours from background image

  1. 00:35:233 (1) - rotate by 135° (Selection C.)? matches better with 00:34:203 (3) and 00:36:263 (2), imo. that's how it was before but someone told me to change it because it's kind of tricky
  2. 00:40:898 (1) - move to 408|84? cause 00:38:838 (2) is following the direction 00:37:293 (1) indicates, I think it'd be nice if this follows 00:39:353 (3). oke
