Raiku mod![Easy]
00:05:157 (2,3) - I recommend making sure the spacing between these two sliders roughly equals the spacing between the notes in the rest of the song. By that I mean the spacing between the bodies of the sliders (
http://puu.sh/8I423.jpg). It makes a big difference towards the aesthetics of the map.
00:24:541 (3,4) - I suggest neatening the blanket spacing between these using the mid-point of the slider (
http://puu.sh/8I47F.jpg).
00:39:772 (3,4) - Perhaps close the distance between these two notes as the spacing is inconsistent with the rest of the map.
01:01:926 (1,2) - Same with these two, consistency is very important.
01:08:387 (1,2,3) - To make this pattern cohesive and fit together whilst being consistent with the spacing in the map but ALSO to think about consistency of blanket spacing with the rest of the map, you have to be consistent in the spacing you use in the same pattern (
http://puu.sh/8I4kR.jpg).
01:24:080 (3,4) - Again the spacing here needs to be closed a little to keep in check with the rest of the map.
01:26:387 (1,2) - And to a lesser extent, here.
01:28:695 (4,1) - For a cleaner blanket and consistent spacing, pull the mid point of slider 4 out a little to neaten the curve, but also pull the actual slider closer to slider 1 to keep in accordance with the distance spacing (
http://puu.sh/8I4tz.jpg).
01:33:310 (1) - Stack this note on x:256 y:241 so that it is perfectly stacked with circle 2 in its position from the last combo.
01:39:772 (4) - Bring this note closer in to the pack of notes so that the spacing is equal on the head and the tail of the slider.
01:44:387 (1,2,3) - I really feel like notes 2 and 3 should be in line with the tail of slider 1, it looks a lot neater.
[Normal]
00:08:849 (1,2) - I suggest making this blanket more symmetrical and even like so (
http://puu.sh/8I4GG.jpg).Be careful to keep within the spacing boundaries also.
00:09:772 (2,3) - Pretty much exactly the same here (
http://puu.sh/8I4M1.jpg).
00:13:464 (3,4) - If you are going to blanket like this, the curve of the slider must be consistent with the curve of the circle the whole way along the body of the slider. It is a good idea to use the approach circle as a guide to form your curve with (
http://puu.sh/8I4UH.jpg).
00:19:464 (2,3) - The blanket between these notes could be evened out a little like so (
http://puu.sh/8I53W.jpg). Try make it so the head and tail of each slider sits directly in between the head and tail of the opposite slider. Again you can use approach circles.
00:24:541 (4,6) - I recommend avoiding this overlap, perhaps make it so the tail of this slider stacks on the circle perfectly?
00:31:464 (2) - I suggest softening the curve of this slider, too sharp is too ugly and ends up wrecking the aesthetics especially if the rest of the map doesn't include sliders this acute.
00:33:310 (1,2,3) - I recommend improving the blanket here using the approach circle as a guide (
http://puu.sh/8I5ek.jpg).
00:36:080 (1,2) - Perhaps here too (
http://puu.sh/8I5tM.jpg).
00:42:080 (1,2) - Taking into account what I mentioned earlier when blanketing two sliders, make sure that the spacing between the curves is completely even the whole way around and also make sure that the head and tail are centralized and opposite each other (
http://puu.sh/8I5Bt.jpg).
00:48:541 (4) - Make sure this note is stacked to y:188.
00:49:926 (2) - And the head of this slider to x:257 y:188.
00:55:003 (2,2) - Try to improve this overlap here through a stack or plainly spacing them out more.
01:06:541 (3) - Move this circle down 1 pixel and 2 pixels to the right.
01:10:695 (4,2) - Perhaps try and neaten this overlap?
01:13:926 (1,2) - You could smoothen this blanket out between these two sliders (
http://puu.sh/8I6sf.jpg).
01:14:849 (2,3) - Possibly between these two too (
http://puu.sh/8I6L5.jpg).
01:24:080 (2,3,1) - I feel this pattern should be centered around the top circle like so (
http://puu.sh/8I6k2.jpg).
01:26:849 (3,1) - Even the blanket out (
http://puu.sh/8I6QM.jpg).
01:30:080 (1,2) - Even the blanket out.
01:33:772 (2,3) - Pull the tail point in a touch to improve this one too (
http://puu.sh/8I6Uf.jpg).
01:41:157 (2,4) - Slight overlap here that could be dealt with.
01:47:618 (1) - Stack this note to x:396 y:130.
01:51:772 (1) - Make sure this note is equidistant from objects 5 and 2 to ensure perfect consistent spacing (
http://puu.sh/8I77L.jpg).
01:52:233 (2,3) - Ensure the blanket curve is perfect (
http://puu.sh/8I7aw.jpg).
When going through a map yourself, check for uneven blankets, inconsistencies in spacing and general clustered overlaps that may make it less manageable for the newer player to read. Double check this map after applying these mods so you get an idea of what you can improve yourself, then I will re check it before you get a BAT.
[Hard]
On a serious note, taking the principles from the mods you have seen on the easy and normal, I'm certain you can pick up some basic things to fix. The map in general is solid but missing some essential fundamentals such as consistent spacing throughout, neater aesthetics including making sure that objects you have blanketed are blanketed evenly.
The flow is excellent with this map, but you have to try and make sure that the sliders and circles cohere with each other as much as you can. What I mean by cohere is like when you have a puzzle and all the pieces fit together perfectly.
[EruJazz's Insane]
I recommend a slider velocity of 1.8-2.0 which goes well in accordance to the spacing you use. It is important to see from a players perspective the average cursor speed throughout the map which stems from the slider velocity and distance of jumps. The player doesn't want to constantly slow down his cursor for sliders and speed up for jumps, this all counts towards the flow of a map.
00:15:772 (1,2) - I suggest neatening the blanket between these two notes using the approach circle as guide (
http://puu.sh/8I7z1.jpg).
00:19:926 (1,2) - Here too (
http://puu.sh/8I7BB.jpg).
01:38:618 (2) - For perfect 1/3 timing, start on the red tick and end on the white tick like so (
http://puu.sh/8I7YP.jpg).
00:41:387 until 00:46:233 - There is really no need for slower slider velocity, in fact due to the whistles in the background you have a chance to play around with long sliders which would fun up the map and look great too.
I'm impressed by this map set, unique style and very inventive, just need to iron out the creases and make sure the fundamentals are in place. Go over all the maps after you have implemented my mods and see for yourself what you really think you can even out.
Remember: you are more likely to have success with a BAT if you KNOW you are confident that everything in your map is worth a 9+ user rating. If you love the map and everyone you have asked to testplay loves it, you are going to be more successful than if you hadn't bothered to iron out basic creases.
Finally I feel that the hard needs the most work in terms of ironing out these creases. Do this, then personally ask me for a re-check via inbox or in-game pm. Thanks and GOOD LUCK!
