Doesn't really matter. I believe I lost pp that I got on 'just passed' plays.

You deducted 33pp, but you are not the only one who had pp deducted by the update, like you gained 18k then 18k users above you dropped enough to make you go higher than them, an example:HiSoNoCash wrote:

I gained 55k ranks from this
I lost like 7 overall PP but somehow gained 0.07 overall accuracy, but I love the rebalance, of course it's not perfect, but it for sure is a big improvement.
All in all I couldn't care less about PP since right now I'm playing for fun and trying to learn HR

I dont like it because low acc already had a lot of penalty but they made it give even less pp. I like having maps that actually challenge me in my top plays not 5 star acc farm that gives over 300pp i dont want to submit any scores anymore until peppy will remove this change.

No even before the change if you got like 96% on a map you would get the same with like 99 on a map 1 star lower. This change just makes this worse. idk why people think 4 stars with good acc should be more than 6 stars with like 90%.Zelzatter Zero wrote:

People are more treating this game as an aim training game more than what it's supposed to be.
It felt good gaining 12k ranks from a 20pp play
All I know is that I gained 200k ranks so yeah

Didn’t affect me that much, I lost like 30 pp and dropped 4k. Also what’s the new meta now.

I think I gained ~100 PP, overall acc went from 99.37 -> 99.42, and rank from 49k -> 42k.

Well people really liked to farm free pp without having acc, there were a lot of combo farmers and that really deteriorates their skills in the long run, honestly i can't wait till i get more for good acc, like it should have beenYuly_new_1 wrote:

i gained 11pp and 2k ranks but overall i think the changes are pretty good, in the right direction definitely
Getting above 90% accuracy requires an understanding of rhythm. A player who could not comprehend rhythm in a map would simply fail it. Not being fully competent with the rhythm of a map is one thing, not being competent with rhythm at all is another.Zelzatter Zero wrote:

What he is saying is the disparity in getting low and high accuracy is overweighted when compared to the difficulty of the map as a whole in star rating.
I don't agree or disagree with him or you, I don't have much of an opinion on this, just trying to clarify some thinks I think are misinterpreted.
Jumped from 430k to 330k. Feelin real good about this, it seems my goal of 100k is closer than I expected

i lost 40 pp, but i gained ~75k ranks so..
My rank went up by 21k but I don't notice any change to my pp or scores. I think maybe because all my important plays (like top 50) are around 97% average acc.
I went to back to the rank that I was in 2019 after not playing for 1 and a half years. I only bothered playing again to see my rank.
Good but why I didn't won or lose pp???
I checked 2 days after they start pp change and my amount of pp and my top plays didn't changed...

Increasing the accuracy of your play increases pp nonlinearly. Rhythmic accuracy is the second-best predictor of being a top player on osuskills. Increasing the benefit of accuracy lowers the relative impact of combo, which means there's less benefit of retry spamming. Nonlinear accuracy also encourages retry spamming.
