I don't know what animask was talking about. His play-style doesn't focus on logical flaws, instead it focuses on the defense of illogical play style such as random voting and lynching lurkers.

He also takes time to focus attention on lurkers but doesn't do enough research to target the other people who have yet to vote. I'm not going to speculate at this point as to why he doesn't mention the other people lurking, but I'll instead give him a chance to explain himself. Honestly I don't understand why someone pro-town would take this much effort day one on painting someone as scum. I guess other than Two he has stated that he finds a good number of other people suspicious... Big deal? I find all of you fuckers suspicious.

I find that the people who stand the most defensive on day 1 tend to be town as mafia is typically lurking / trying to stay out of the spotlight. However, its not that you're on the defensive because someone directly targeted you, but because you are attacking other players and they are "fighting back".

tl;dr: akrolsmir finds everyone suspicious, focuses a lot of attention on Two, and for some reason only targeted one lurker when there was actually others. He is definitely top 3 as far as my mafia predictions go at this point.

Alright, finally had the time to read all the posts (Rushed it though)
Currently at my School's Library and internet is kinda slow, so I won't quote anyposts for now.
I'll just post whatever I can and remember for now.

1.
Nobody seems to be protecting akrolsmir at the moment since most are attacking him.
So if akrolsmir is really Mafia, another Mafia wouldn't normally attack him as well, especially in Day 1.
If that's the case, the other Mafia members are luerkers, since they haven't protected/attacked anyone yet.

2.
I find it really awkward being (somehow) protected by Two,
but I guess that was just to convince akrolsmir of my playstyle.
Two has always been the type to make brutal (?) posts, and that's just Two being Two,
I can't really tell if he's Town or Mafia atm.
Although, he seems to be more aggressive and protective in this game to the previous ones I've played with him,
not sure why. But that's just my opinions.

3.
So about me being active in the other forums except this one.
The other threads aren't serious as Mafia Games, and I wasn't really in the mood to play Mafia or think too hard.
And animask, about me not joining anymore Mafia Games, that's silly.
I'm here for the same reason you are, just to add more characters.
It's fun to have a Mafia Game with different kinds of people.

Well, that's all I can say for now, I have classes in a few minutes.
I'll just add my other thoughts later when I get home or whatever.

Fine I guess Q's off the "lurking" category for now.

Because apparently I'm supposed to be fair and accuse everyone:

Rantai, Wojjan and Kiddo-kun have the next-least number of posts (besides Lilac of course). I find it interesting that they've basically spent their one post accusing each other, and then... nothing. If they are mafia, they're doing a pretty good job.

Two's being like he always is. Except when he said something about trying to be cute...that really freaked me out.

Only reason I wasn't posting is because there is nothing TO post. However, I must confess, there is a lot since I came back from school, I'll be reading now.

Going through again, I'm thinking Doc (Lybydose) ISN'T Mafia because by prodding me and also acting more than he does usually obviously doesn't seem like his Mafia playstyle in TF2 Mafia. (Not to mention he's just drawing more attention to himself...) Then again, that Mafia was probably really unbalanced with his simple roleclaim as Cop.

Qua being nonchalant and useless (BTW, I never use the word 'useless' in a negative connotation.) as usual meant that he probably is town. This is of course being judged from NoHItter's Island Mafia game. (I forgot the exact name but keep with me here.)

akrolsmir seems to be a newbie who wants to contribute, not necessarily helpful but considering the irony of that statement, it's probably because he's trying too hard.

...This is mainly for the people who believe in meta and some of my own observations and what not. I'll probably contribute more but I really didn't want to post until Day 2.

I'm willing to believe Two is not mafia at this stage. I will admit I've never played properly with him before but regardless, I don't consider meta as a good way to analyse/compare behavior patterns. Right now I'm feeling it's way too aggressive play, coupled with hypocrisy and the like I think it's just reaction fishing in an attempt to weed out suspicious people.

Speaking of reactions, I'm not sure what to make of Lybydose's reactions. It seems like he gave up trying to argue with Two due to his hypocrisy. Whether that means he's not bothering with him anymore or ran out of ideas, I'm not convinced either way.

akrolsmir's posting is striking me as odd. As far as I can tell his whole attack play has revolved around 'go after the quiet ones'. Sounds like a convenient excuse to cast suspicion at.

I still don't like how Wojjan was still pushing a vote based on a lack of meta knowledge but he/she hasn't posted much since so I'm not sure where to go with this feeling.

akrols isn't making any amount of sense though, but it seems that he just wants to justify his crap play (not working)

that's what I was trying to find the words for earlier, but I couldn't write it properly so I went to bed

I noticed that when I was mafia in a recent game, I would spend the majority of my time explaining why someone probably isn't mafia and I rarely attacked anyone. I don't think most mafia will seriously (not "random vote", not "maybe, looks, might be") attack anyone unless it's already been initiated by someone else on day 1.

Playstyles vary. I've seen mafia who will latch on to a player and attack them viciously on D1.

That being said, what you said is right that most mafia won't seriously attack anyone unless someone else has started a valid-looking attack already.

I read through this-ish.

Everything Two said has been rubbing me the wrong way. His arguments are just silly and don`t make sense . But, it's something about him that's leading me to believe he's not Mafia. (Maybe the whole "He's just being Two" thing got to me) It's akrolsmir. It's just the way he attacks anyone and has weak reasoning.

Apparently a lot of people think my actions have been scummy. Remember, this is my first mafia game. Which essentially means that I've been trying to do things by the book (aka mafiascum wiki). Random voting, FoS, suspecting lurkers and bandwagoning- this is the stuff I read about and tried to emulate. And when people started jumping on me for doing that, I instinctively defended it because I really didn't have much else to rely on. Maybe I should have been more quiet as a newbie, but as someone else mentioned I was probably a bit overeager to play.

Anyways, I'm still suspicious of Lilac and Kiddo-kun though not enough to vote at this point. Plus it would probably be seen as trying to divert attention away from me and get me lynched.

I assume he was saying that you left out LadySuburu with your "who do you find suspicious?" question, but you can never be too sure with the challenged.

I'm gonna be honest, right now I feel like foulcoon, Wojjan, and LadySuburu are the most likely to be mafia.

I don't really have enough confidence or information to make a decent vote just yet...

Firstly, I've been keeping track of the votes and unvotes. (No, I just looked at Two's post) I have a general
suspicion on everyone who has been messing with the votes. (Mostly Lybydose) If Two and Lybydose were mafia
they could be easily be using a strategy of some kind with voting. I've noticed that Two hasn't said anything to Lybydose
about his votes. I get the feeling that adam was also onto this. Seems a bit fishy/scummy, but I'm not really sure where they
would be going with this...

akrolsmir seems to be putting in information out there, but none of it seems useful. There seems to be a lot of focus on defending
himself. His behavior seems to be really defensive which seems to be an important trait.

Lilac is probably thinking that Day 1 is the most dangerous and reckless of all the days. You should realize that when you're pro-town,
you always have a high chance of being lynched anyways. This kind of behavior seems different coming from you... FoS Lilac

well judging by what you just said and your inability to recognize emotion-driven "logic", yes

I knew coming into this game that even mentioning your name could bite me in the ass, since you have what I think is known in this game as a "u suck" mentality. If you remember, I genuinely thought you were trolling me the last game we played together, since even when faced with irrefutable logic, you would still vote for me.

However, I don't want to get lynched over stupid reasons like that. Answering foulcoon, the person I'm currently most suspicious of is Kiddo. However, my vote now would only just make me more suspicious anyway.

I'm still suspicious of Kiddo-kun at this point, but Vote: Lilac, for trying to shift attention away from you without really providing defense for yourself. Or a case of any kind, really- I didn't really see an argument against Kiddo-kun in there. First, he's been pretty quiet, though for some reason people seem to think I shouldn't go after lurkers. I still don't feel he adequately explained the opportunistic jump on the bandwagon, which overall just seems like he doesn't care who gets lynched as long as the day gets over and it's not him.

Well at the beginning of the game he started to piss me off with all the random votes that had weak reasoning. But now he's starting to seem less like a scum but more like a newbie trying to get a grasp the concept of this game. Since I don't find you suspicious anymore: unvote.

Look guys, I'm not lying when I said I wasn't mafia. In fact, this is the best role I've had in ages.

I mean, though I'm disappointed in Two's change of mood when he plays this now, probably a change from ragequitting that Mafia game, it's also fair to say I didn't actually have any suspicion of Kiddo to begin with. (Two, I shifted my mood because you did. ;) ) Aren't you happy?

I'm not going to defend myself because there is no point. My lynching today will obviously mean that someone in the Mafia has voted for me already for being suspicious and if they haven't, they're probably the dumbest person ever because it's FREE KILL. I'm pretty sure that there's 3 in this game and that at least one of them has already jumped on me though, if not more.

Lybydose, there are no such thing as scummy statements because they're all subjective as hell.

Also, LS, that's probably the best way I've seen you play Mafia all this time. By doing nothing~

Considering that there are 3 Mafia in this game, I am going to cross of foulcoon, Lybydose, Kiddo-Kun, akrolsmir and Rantai out.

1. LadySuburu - Even since I met you, I felt you were an odd person. I even told you that I could never, ever read you. It's intriguing and I hope this doesn't come back to bite me.

2. animask - You're different. You're trying to sound more serious and that's what ticks me off. I liked the old animask...but I'm sorry it just seems odd. I mean, a more serious animask! Wow, a lot of people have changed.

3. adam - You went...silent...for 6 whole pages... Are you serious? akrolsmir even try to back up the claim...Unless he didn't do it right.

4. Quaraezha - Why join if you're not contributing? You're as useless as me. Though you're mainly town when you get lynched D1, I'd really laugh/cry if you were actually Mafia though.

5. Wojjan - I never liked you...Actually, I did when you started that TTYD project. I think I might do a song but the point stands. I don't like you. You hardly do anything, you troll and yet people respect you for that. I assume it's your past history which does that considering your upper most role as the cult.

6. Two - Same with you, you're different. You're acting nothing like before and if that's how you play mafia, then I congratulate you because you will be the best at it. Not to mention your previous history of gaming too! You are someone to be feared.

If you're actually town you're not making it much better for yourself by being a defeatist. Town should be trying to stay alive and lynch scum, not actively helping the mafia lynch them.

Anyway I'm a bit less suspicious of Lilac at this moment. While it's all WIFOM and blah blah blah, his softclaim of an aux role gives me a small amount of leeway for his willingness to stay quiet.

Still don't like the fact he had to be called out to leap out of that mind set though, I'm keeping my eye on you.


That said, Vote: akrolsmir you're the only one left on my list, coupled with the fact you jumped onto the bandwagon, you pulled omgus votes and you're still adamant on hiding behind your newbie status, you stand out more than Lilac right now, to me.

I don't like the Lilac bandwagon. Mainly since I've talked to Lilac enough that none of the behavior seems really out of the ordinary to me.

Might as well post my impressions of players.



Two: The only way I can read Two without always seeing him as Mafia is by meta. That being said, other than a few posts he seems to be acting pretty much as normal. - Town read.

animask: Actions seem slightly abnormal, but I don't see anything suspicious here. Neutral read.

akrolsmir: Never played with him before. Uses mafiascum newbie guide, and doesn't come off as suspicious to me. Neutral read.

LadySuburu: I haven't posted much. I don't post much in a lot of my games. When I have something that I feel is important to say, I'll say it. I don't like making filler posts with no content. (That doesn't mean that I haven't sometime in the past. I just don't like to do it.)

adam2046: Hasn't posted too much, but his posts are just about normal for him. (Other than one weird use of color for some reason.) Read: Slightly town.

foulcoon: Seems about normal, getting an odd feeling from him but nothing really major. Neutral read.

Kiddo: Shows up only after I vote him to get him in here, makes a scummy post, and follows it with another scummy post (excuse to vote? Slip there?). Follows it with a post trying to explain away the last post's scummy feel. (Which the post makes it seem like he was voting entirely based off of foul's reasonings alone.) Scum read.

Wojjan: Seems about normal for Wojjan. Neutral read.

Lybydose: Pretty much all but one of his posts are devoid of any sort of actual content. Random vote hopping like it's the new fad. Scum read.

Rantai: Based on what I know about Rantai: Slightly Town

Quar: Seems about normal for him but his statement of "I don't vote quite often but I'll bandwagon for now" gave me a bad feeling. Read: Neutral but leaning slightly scum.

Lilac: Talking with Lilac as often as I do, I don't think he's scum. However, I will post that him saying "I don't really have a strong sense on who to kill yet." does bug me. Still, my read is slightly town.


Oh, and I'm still staying with my vote on Kiddo.

The only apparent omgus would be for Two, but I had no idea what he was like or what to expect and in a vacuum his posts looked suspicious. I guess you could accuse me of bandwagoning on Lilac, but I did point him out earlier before anyone started voting.

Anyways, Lilac's convinced me with his posts, at least to Unvote. That said, I was watching to see who would try to get him lynched. Vote: Wojjan your vote feels like omgus without any content, why bring him to L-1 in spite of Lilac's recent posts without providing any justification whatsoever?

Two, why aren't you considering Kiddo in your list of people you're going to vote on? Do you think this argument isn't true, or that it doesn't hold enough merit for Kiddo to be scum on its own?
