Doable. I thought this would be bad.. But it looks dope to play. I wanted to incorporate LN to cover for the synth. Never have been good with LN, but reverse shields are surprisingly easy to do.. Just not regular shields lmao. ss/19341571/6e07
Edit: Unfortunately, since I am doing LN, it limits my ability to put comfortable streams into the map. Maybe I might change it up later on in the map? I don't think that is really a suitable option, but I will leave it open.

There isn't much to work with on LN either.. But it is possible to have ghost notes in place for the lyrics. I will consider it as an option when I look back on it. What will matter to me is, how relevant is the voice?

Now, there is also another option.. Which would be to cut the song to the last 1 minute and 10 seconds (around). This section involves the most going on with the song, and it allows for a variety amount of patterns to be used. But it does completely remove the buildup, which imo, I don't like.
Most likely, the second option will be picked if I proceed with this map.. Or I can just say "fuck it, Wimpy" and map this in a proper standard. (Also realized another repeating rhythm that I can turn into LN, so I'm now more leaning towards mapping it properly)

the voice has somewhat of a rhythm if that helps any.
and it does make sense to use the bass as a stream dump, i mean any dethklok song would make sense to use a stream.
I would try and map it properly and see how it goes at first glance, then work with whatever makes you comfortable.
If anything I have a lot more songs under my sleeve that could be challenging but makes sense.

Woah. This will be quite interesting to map. I'm not seeing any mini-jack spam though lol. What I do see, are a few stream patterns, grace notes, little bit of technical dump, and inverse LN. SV may even be incorporated into the map (but I'm bad at mapping SV.. I do want to learn more on it though!) There is a lot of variety that can be placed into this song.

Nope. But I am considering mapping the second song now. Someone recommended me the same song, mapped by CrewK. I started to like the song that further I went into it. Definitely doing dump for that song though.

Map is now completed. I decided to ditch the heavy SV approach. Will make arrangements for light SV.

Thanks! Playtesters have enjoyed the map as well. Bit of a surprise honestly, considering I tried going for something different like I did with Mechanted. However, that seemed to be the best part, the "unique" feel to the patterns.
I would've done this already, but there's many beatmaps with this song. I'll probably give it a shot, making this into technical stream and/or dump. Seems that's how my mapping style will be for a little while.
Will focus more on jack, JS, HS, trilly heavy maps soon.. Probably after a tournament though. We'll see.

I honestly couldn't imagine that utabi track being charted with anything but tech tbqh, tho I'm p much exclusively a tech charter nowadays deathmachine has some killer tracks and a lot of them are honestly pretty chartable, I've done two of his songs already
Seems like I won't be getting to any requests in awhile.. Just a heads up. Reason being, I think I may be burned out from osu! entirely, which honestly, to me, sounds really stupid to say. But I can't see it as being impossible.
Talked to some people, and the same idea has been suggested. Despite taking previous breaks from the game itself, I still consumed media of the game.. And I think that's where my error is.
I'm not entirely surprised by this outcome either, as I've been trying to train every day for a tournament.. That was extended. So yeah, that's a big one. And of course, maintained some extra time for mapping, or at least tried to. I entered two contests, but I think the first may have been too much to bounce back from.
Essentially, I did too much for this silly game!

Currently working on getting a map ranked for a quest, but I'll check out the requests here once more. Time will be very short working on each request, and I may not map the most recent requests.. I'm basing this off of my own likeability towards the song choices and potential gameplay that it can bring into a 4k map.
Again, sorry for the delay. Would still like this to be a fun experience lol, but unfortunately I keep doing other tasks.

I was working on z0z's request, but I found it to be rather difficult to make it "good".. Kind of hard for me to differentiate the rhythms placed into the song. So that took some time. Unfortunately, I got no where near to completing it !

beatmaps/artists/322 do last gate song because then you can be a guest difficulty in the chart. also its a good song icl.

Seems more on the chill side honestly. Can also try to make it a little technical, but not too hard.
This request will probably take some time though. Will possibly make a spread for someone in a few days, and that's not directed towards Slowpoke1135. Though, due to the repeated rhythms, I may be able to finish this in maybe 2-3 hours, possibly lower. Depends how long I take for the technicality.
Won't make any promises though. Also Unhappy Refrain is a bit annoying right now. Just the BPM messing me up. Never had to deal with increments for the BPM (ex. 120.43). It's been mapped to a certain degree, but I still need to figure out the exact BPM increment in order to have this timed right. Doesn't sound bad right now, but I know it will become bad soon enough.
edit: nvm I'm just stupid. thought the BPM may be closer to 205 instead of 206. Tried messing around with 205 this entire time only to produce errors. But uh, there was never an increment. It's just 205 BPM.. yikes.

Real fruit all the way.

I did give this a try much earlier on, but I gave up on it. Didn't like where it was going and it was taking so long on just the beginning of the map. But here we are, completing this in about three hours with a second attempt. There was no room for copy + paste, so the pattern changes are frequent. Pretty nice for a song.
