What's not to understand about:
"I want to lynch animask because I see that he plays badly as town and causes confusion as town, but my only basis of this is meta which I don't like because it is unreliable. Thus we shouldn't lynch animask because of meta."

And yes you were misrepping me. You completely took my statements out of context. Maybe unintentional, but still misrepping.

You want to lynch him (decision based on meta) but you won't (because you don't like decisions based on meta).

Your problem is you don't seem to find anything wrong with this. Let me give you an example of something else and maybe you'll understand my reasoning better.

- I want mint ice cream but I won't order it because I don't like mint ice cream.

- I don't want to eat mint ice cream because I think it tastes terrible even though I haven't eaten it before, but I will try mint ice cream this time to find out how it tastes.
- Based on previous experiences with mint ice cream I don't want to eat it, but this mint ice cream is from a different shop so I will have a go at it.
- The last mint ice cream I had had a hair in it, this has soured my impression of mint ice creams but I am willing to try it again next time.

Haneii has been lynched. Posting scene and results tues. Since the rules say the day isn't officially over until I post the Lynch scene, discussion, ect, are still allowed. Lucky you. (If rules don't say what I just said, they will soon. Can't change votes though sorry.)

I believe Haneii's just kicking up a lot of dust in front of NoHItter and use that as a defense to whatever she was "accused of" this page and the last.

Ironic how the player who doesn't like all the fluff in posts ended up leading the discussion with Haneii to be just about fluff. (Thanks NoHItter)

Also, resetting everyone's votes seems to border on the useless (I know it's a random one each day) since everyone can immediately just revote. What I mean is, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some other hidden effect along with resetting the votes.
(bolded part for emphasis).

One reason I said that was because I figured that the Dreaming God's random ability actually had a hidden effect on how votes are calculated. Possibly something like only taking two votes to hammer.

Procured a quick use of a computer so I can post without taking like 10 min for a short post.

I'm going to allow discussion/day actions (if any) to happen until I gain reliable computer access. Earliest will be tomorrow (If by some chance it happens before tomorrow, I won't end the day until then.). Latest tuesday. Even if something like this happens again for me, I will not give this benefit again. Make use of this one chance to discuss after the lynch, or if you have a day power and haven't used it, to use it even though you normally wouldn't be able to.

Would you mind expanding on these points a bit? Do you know how you got lynched? How do you know adam is innocent? Do you know NoH is scum or is that just the opinion you drew from your conversation?

Well, judging from the note, NoHitter is most likely an Absorber, but the note did not reveal an alignment. For now, I think we should wait to see what happens before passing judgement.

Well, I think it's pretty clear that NoHItter is mafia. A pro-town role wouldn't -need- to absorb powers, and put yourself in the hosts position: would you be more likely to give a power absorption role to a role without many powers (mafia), or to a town?

Something has been bugging me guys. Why would the bomb role claim as soon as the game starts? Wojjan, if you really cared for the town wouldn't it be best for you keep quiet and allow the chance for you to get killed. It would kill a mafia member + might give the town some insight?

Why did you role claim?

When she is claiming bomb, there are two things that go in her favour.

One, it tells the Mafia and other people who have Vig roles at night to stay away otherwise, face the consequences.

Two, it shows that Wojjan is aligned with the town and gives her the thought that she is part of the town.

That's probably the reason.

Exactly. Role claiming benefits wojjan (gets to stay alive?dunno) and not so much the town.

ofc staying alive is needed to keep the town numbers higher than the mafia - but wojjan was in no danger of being lynched at the time.

I just think that a bomb would try to use their ability to help the town. If there was a chance that they would be lynched (which would be bad for the town) then they have a reason to role claim. Until then, I believe, they should lie low.

From how I see it, either wojjan is bluffing (can still be town, doesn't necessarily mean wojjan's mafia) or just wants to stay alive for the entirety of the game (doesn't really care if the town loses).

Why protect yourself from a nightkill? Your role/ability involves you being killed. If the good chance you get killed by a mafia - a mafia member dies with you and the new death can be used to narrow things down/or make better decisions.

Does keeping yourself alive and withholding your ability help the town in someway?

It protects Vigs from misfiring and dying from Wojjan, resulting in two deaths in the town's side.

But I do admit, claiming Bomb this early doesn't have a real major impact which could mean that Wojjan was claiming for fun or she's not really caring at all.

The first post Wojjan makes in this game (practically the very beginning of the game) is to roleclaim bomb...to protect against the vigilant?

Did you know you were targeted by the vigilant? (I guess you can have another role that would make knowing something like that possible, but...)

A vigilant having chosen a target that early in the game doesn't seem so likely.

Why exactly wouldn't the mod put an absorber as a town role?

You're set-up speculating - which isn't really advisable in a game like this. Remember, this is a game where the Host picks roles, what you think is fine is not necessarily what the mod thinks is fine.

Set-up spec is ok when it's a semi-open or open set-up, but this is a closed set-up. It may help but it cannot alone be a basis for saying some one is scum.

Haneii was sitting on a park bench, enjoying some Mint Ice Cream. All seemed to be going well that day, when suddenly two people jump out at her, screaming "YOU MURDERER!"

Suprised, Haneii swallows a bit too much of the ice cream, and begins choking. After some time the ice cream melts, and a relieved Haneii gets up. Ready, she walks forward to confront her accusations.... and is struck by lightning as a mysterious smoke fills the area.

Haneii - Lynched D1

When the smoke clears, the body is nowhere to be found.

It is now Night 1. Send all night actions within 24 hours. If you do not, the host will get to choose if you use your night action or not, and on whom.

Haneii - Stalker + Enabler + Commuter + Dreaming God - Town - was Lynched D1.

Night continues, and you feel better knowing who died, but worse because they were innocent.

Why are you oh-so-interested in who he scanned and what result he got? Calling out someone's aux role is completely anti-town as it lets the mafia know who to target.

He doesn't need to reveal the aux role (if there even is one).

I am now less convinced that animask is Mafia and Lybydose more so.

Though animask might be pulling a facade, Doc immediately commented about revealing an aux role when animask didn't mention anything of the sort ot be revealed. Lybydose, I think you just might be jumping the gun here.

That doesn't sound like that great of reasoning to be suspicious of Lybydose. When I read animask's post, I thought he was asking for Two to reveal everything he found. Even after Two gave good reasoning to not reveal the role. And this is a game where everyone has some sort of power, so mafia could benefit from even the knowledge of someone who's town(We've already seen a cult, who knows if there are any other third parties).

And really Mariobros, I don't get how what animask said made him less suspicious.

I would like it if you would stop dismissing animask's unhelpful behavior as him simply being a noob.
