Posting to say I have limited internet access (PS3 when I do.) until mon/tues. Will check on threads when I do have access but posting is difficult. If someone would pass this message on in the other two threads that would be great.
Those? So far there has only been one vote against animask and it was random. Small mistake, I know, but mistakes are most likely done by someone trying too hard to look good.NoHItter wrote:
Because you should vote people because they are suspicious not because of a policy.
Those weren't random votes on animask. They were "let's lynch animask"s.
NoHItter wrote:
I don't like it when meta is used just to lynch someone, and that's what you guys are doing with animask.
You're quite the hypocrite, aren't you?NoHItter wrote:
As much as I would like a policy lynch on animask - considering everything he has done in other games, I do not think that's the right decision for now.

Or I am town and helping by discouraging rash/dumb decisions. Either way, it's WIFOM.Haneii wrote:
I noticed most of your posts involve you defending others (animask, lily, and me). Don't understand why a townie would need to do so this early in the day (especially before we've gotten serious about who we're voting for). Atm I can only imagine you as mafia who doesn't want to point a finger at anyone yet since you'd rather join a majority vote later on. Because you're required to post regularly you try appear to have the best interest for the town by discouraging us from making rash/dumb decisions.

It wasn't before? It was pretty straight forward. "I don't like it when meta is used just to lynch someone" - why did you feel the need to explain that to me...NoHItter wrote:
Well now that you've pointed it out specifically:
The first one:
The would like to lynch him because of the confusion he makes in other games, but I'm against it because it would be meta, and I don't like using meta.
Is it clear now?
I'm don't understand how this relates to what we've been discussing right now.NoHItter wrote:
The second one:
Because if you start too late then Mafia would get a headstart.
Townies usually get mislynched Day 1, but we would like Mafia to get lynched D1.
Because you were misrepping me with what you said statements and I felt the need to explain it clearly.Haneii wrote:

You asked me why a townie should "do something like that" so early in the game.Haneii wrote:

I wasn't "misrepping". And you didn't explain it. You just repeated yourself.NoHItter wrote:

Oh, sorry. When you said "second one" I thought you were referring to the second quote I had in that post.NoHItter wrote:

I explained it.
NoHItter wrote:
What's not to understand about:
"I want to lynch animask because I see that he plays badly as town and causes confusion as town, but my only basis of this is meta which I don't like because it is unreliable. Thus we shouldn't lynch animask because of meta."

Your problem is you don't seem to find anything wrong with this. Let me give you an example of something else and maybe you'll understand my reasoning better.
- I want mint ice cream but I won't order it because I don't like mint ice cream.
Do you now understand what I was trying to point out in your posts?
This is what I meant. Did I really word it confusingly?0_o wrote:
I think it's more like "I want to eat this entire cake, but I know it isn't a good thing to do so I won't."
Also, resetting everyone's votes seems to border on the useless (I know it's a random one each day) since everyone can immediately just revote. What I mean is, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some other hidden effect along with resetting the votes.(bolded part for emphasis).
Ohhhhhhhh that actually makes a lot of sense. Good call.Lybydose wrote:

One reason I said that was because I figured that the Dreaming God's random ability actually had a hidden effect on how votes are calculated. Possibly something like only taking two votes to hammer.
Would you mind expanding on these points a bit? Do you know how you got lynched? How do you know adam is innocent? Do you know NoH is scum or is that just the opinion you drew from your conversation?Haneii wrote:
Some parting words of advice:
- You guys are reading too much into the Dreaming Goddess role
- Don't vote for adam (Unless you have convicting evidence against him. It's highly likely he's town so don't wast a lynch on him. Although now that I called you out...good luck fending against the mafia, maybe someone will protect you XD)
- Looks like noHitter's an Absorber. He's still scum
Having someone tell everyone not to vote for me without an explanation is kind of creepy...Haneii wrote:

You do understand that person who wrote and left that note accused you of the role. I just said it "looks" like you're an absorber.NoHItter wrote:
@Haneii
You do understand that the role you accuse me of could be town as well?
Good point, especially since in this game everyone has some sort of power. But, actual voting will have to wait till day 2.Two wrote:
Well, I think it's pretty clear that NoHItter is mafia. A pro-town role wouldn't -need- to absorb powers, and put yourself in the hosts position: would you be more likely to give a power absorption role to a role without many powers (mafia), or to a town?
Exactly. Role claiming benefits wojjan (gets to stay alive?dunno) and not so much the town.Lilac wrote:
When she is claiming bomb, there are two things that go in her favour.
Why protect yourself from a nightkill? Your role/ability involves you being killed. If the good chance you get killed by a mafia - a mafia member dies with you and the new death can be used to narrow things down/or make better decisions.Lilac wrote:
Wojjan wasn't trying to protect against a lynch, she was trying to protect herself from a nightkill so she can get past Day 1.
Why exactly wouldn't the mod put an absorber as a town role? Two wrote:

LS didn't reveal the role yet.

He clearly didn't as no revival role was listed in his abilities.DeathxShinigami wrote:

Why are you oh-so-interested in who he scanned and what result he got? Calling out someone's aux role is completely anti-town as it lets the mafia know who to target.animask wrote:
@Two, tell us the truth. You have nothing left to hide now.

Yeah, I was too, until Two gave a good reason as to why it would be stupid to reveal his results.Quaraezha wrote:
