avatar: a cute quick original doodle of a human wearing a white turtleneck sweater(?) and a dark skull mask!! this human is more a vague self-insert, and the mask is a vestige of my first years here where i was recognized through a skeleton character
some people latched onto the skeleton motif along with me, and after many years it has begun to feel as though i ought to wear it for the sake of preservation... but it doesnt mean very much to me anymore beyond what it used to, being a melodramatic expression of something between solemn misery and tired apathy, or whatever i was trying to make it mean at the time. i'm generally uncomfortable with it since im not especially apathetic/emotionless or unrecoverably miserable, just very very tired and drained and only mildly dissociated at times
signature: a moderately-large centered excerpt of original prose in cream and cyan colors, surrounded by miscellaneous symbols and improvised double-colon brackets with a lavender tint...
it reads,
⌗⎅⌗ ∷ left to haunt the earth, in want of form for function ∷ ⌗⎅⌗
◌◉◌ ∷ yet to learn its dearth, in wit and soul's conjunction ∷ ◌◉◌
i would guess i wrote this to express a sense of something missing, of this body/mind failing to carry me somehow, and feeling alien to it and my surroundings in some way
i've had a habit of writing poems/prose for original signatures this way, and most are similarly melodramatic or are otherwise awkwardly written
the first line of unicode symbols and brackets were found with labels/titles like "viewdata square" (i liked the impression that gave) and i remember the following bisected square being interpreted like a symmetrical reflection across a mirror's surface. the second line of unicode symbols and brackets contained an empty dotted circle and a "bullseye", or something with similar labels/titles, which i likely interpreted as something hollow/missing/transparent and ghostlike accompanied by an eye or target
further, there is a modestly-sized centered lavender-tinted divider with a hollow star

to separate this from a song listed below, prefaced with bolded lavender text
now playing:
and then contained by lavender eighth-note symbols and double-colon brackets surrounding the cream-colored title itself:
♬ ∷ MΣΣBΣΣ - "countless grains arranged in a grid are waving randomly" ∷ ♬
the song seemed to reflect some of my vaguely ambient-oriented music tastes, with gentle glassy and shimmering textures that resembled my preferences in personal style
