I live in Minnesota. Here's my connection speed to Yokohoma, Japan:
The sad part? When I choose either the recommended server or the Twin Cities, MN server, I get about... 1.3K for download, 104 for upload.... Less than 90 ping though, unlike my 250 ping above. Time to check out more servers!
...What. The. Hell. Oh, and in case you were wondering, this is across a wireless router with many devices sucking up internet usage on it, hence the speed.

ffffff, Mogsy has a crappy connection. Then again this is a wireless adapter, so that might have something to do with it. Something (notice how the server is in New York and I'm in Massachusetts).
I'll post the wired connection when I get around to it.
My test gave me a bad result(I used a recommended server in South Korea)
In fact the actual dl speed is around ~40K/s
And I chose a domestic server after this, it gave ~500K/s dl speed

Looks like your CPU/Ethernet card can be relevant when running this test. I'm getting 90 MB/s on my desktop, 70 MB/s on the laptop, and my dad is getting 40 MB/s on his 5 years old desktop.
Atm an 26-50/7-10 connection with Comhem, not the best but with a maxed upload of 1.3mb/s and enough down I can't complain too much, this area is semi-new built and in the outskirts of a semi-small town 20 km outside of Gothenburg so.
The only weird thing with speedtest is that I get this score when trying to Stockholm but about half the upload and about 15k more down when trying with Malmö.
And CPU/Ethernet you say? Currently draging on a C2Q9450 and some half-assed motherboard Ethernet connection port.
