...hmm. to be fair, it was a genius idea from the marketing standpoint. an osu map that scares you? that kind of thing. flashbacklog had... well, some pretty awesome sliders, and really interesting patterns and means of representing the music, but
eh. guess it wasn't enough.
the worst thing is that flashbacklog didn't lose because of the lack of quality but because of the lack of population.
