I'd like to nominate Pre-spinner Notes
It's basically a note/end of slider directly before a spinner.
The note gives the "beat" while the spinner provides resolution to that beat.
The spinner usually follows 1/2, 1/3/ 1/4 or 1/6 after to not sound disjoint from the note.
In fact earlier maps just overlapped the note and the spinner.
It's like a slider but for longer time intervals.
Examples:
Tomohito Nishiura - Professor Layton's Theme [WyndII's Mix]
Hideyuki Ono - Classic Party Triathlon [Insane]
Eiko Shimamiya - Super Scription of Data [Easy]

Sort of, but what you posted is a bunch of notes at 1/2 beat distance, and the circles themselves are very close together, so it plays totally different from the pattern I posted.
I hate everything involving the edge or corner of the screen and "distance". My vision sucks.

I'm nominating Drain Sections, when a difficult beatmap suddenly gets slower or less difficult in an attempt to either match the song better or cause the HP bar to drain.

End-Cut Sliders? End-Switching Sliders? The essence of this ones is that the direction switches at the end of the first slider, switching to the (aprox) 90º direction (If (1) is vertical (2) will be horizontal, if (1) is horizontal (2) will be vertical, and so on), doing an underlap at the first slider's endpoint (imo). It's important to make each slider like spider leg. That's why this^ is bad example.

Sometimes I find it more appropriate to actually slow the slider speed down during the chorus instead of speed it up. Perhaps change the wording of the description?Krisom wrote:
