Adding transparency isn't possible. RGB gets used by osu' skin.ini and not RGBa (which would support transparency).Neko67 wrote:

The nearest you can get to a transparent slider body is using 0,0,0.

I'm using cursormiddle.png to make it nice and smooth, but it's huuuuuuuuugely long. Unfortunately, deleting cursormiddle.png makes it extremely short and choppy.
I made a comparison in the picture below. Moving my cursor in an infinity-loop at a medium speed.
Basically I want my trail to be like the top one, except maybe half the length. (And less bright, but that's just the nature of rainbows, can't fix that without breaking the universe...)
