POLY'S KONBU ONIGIRI "HD" BY Polytetral

Plain Onigiri "NM": Some juicy 1/2 stream and cute pattern...

Poly's Konbu Onigiri "HD": Simple rolls and streams, all in one.

Umeboshi Onigiri "MX": Feel sick? Sour streams are here to make you feel better.

Ikura Onigiri "SC": Not challenging enough? Short LN streams are here to kill the ill-prepared.

Salmon Onigiri "SHD": Generic handstream shitfile with some more weird-but-tasty stuff inside!

Unagi Onigiri "UHD": Counterpart of Salmon Onigiri. Looooooong eel is served and superior LN skill is required.

NM
00:00:084 (84|0) - 00:01:226 (1226|1) - 00:02:369 (2369|2) and so on - I think a double would be better at these parts
00:05:798 - You missed a note here, you could either put a double note or a LN if you rejected the previous suggestion
00:06:941 - You could put a note at 3 here since there's a different sound at that part as well
00:13:369 (13369|0) - 00:22:512 (22512|0) - The drum beats go faster at this part so a LN could be better
00:20:369 - 00:24:941 - There's a drum beat at that part,you could add a note
00:49:655 (49655|3) - The note here is longer, you should make this a LN just like in HD
00:58:798 (58798|3) - End this LN at 00:59:084
01:25:512 (85512|0) - End this LN at 01:25:655
01:29:226 (89226|0) - Extend this one to 01:29:512 (Not going to mention these anymore,if you want to take a look at the LN's,just preview the HD diff. Most of them should be correct)
01:31:369 (91369|2) - If you are following the drums between 01:31:084 - 01:31:369 ,that note is a ghost note
(I forgot to add that I usually mod a single diff to the rules, sorry about that :p)
Good luck

Hello menthol~ From my queue

|1|2|3|4| Here we go

HD
  1. 00:29:655 - Maybe you miss a LN here ( check your other hard diffs )
  2. 00:58:798 (58798|2) - This LN should be stop 00:59:226 - , you can play as 0.25x to check it
  3. 01:26:155 (86155|0) - Suggest you delete it, 1) this part ( 01:24:655 - to 01:26:512 - focus on FX sound that LN means mainly, this note will be odd), 2) you did not make this like that before, inconsistent
  4. 01:30:084 - This LN should stop at 01:30:226 -
  5. 01:30:726 (90726|3) - same
  6. 02:48:512 - If this LN stop at 02:48:798 - , when LN stop and hit this 02:48:798 (168798|3) - , then hit another 02:48:941 (168941|0) - you will feel the tone shift or something like that, it's cool

MX
  1. 00:12:441 - It's no reason to ignore it
  2. 00:21:584 - ^
  3. 00:27:226 - add a note, here it's beat
  4. 00:30:369 - ^

other diff it's fine or I can not pass it :o sorry short mod, but it's really great, shoot a star

-NM-
00:58:798 (58798|3) - is this supposed to be this long? I think it should be longer than that. Maybe put the ln tail right here 00:59:512 - something like you did here 01:03:512 (63512|2) - and here 01:07:941 (67941|3) -
-HD-
00:00:084 (84|0) - maybe replace this with LN? cuz it kinda make everything not so boring to play
00:01:226 (1226|1) - this one too and so on
00:09:226 (9226|0) - why is this a single note while you put a double in NM diff xd
00:11:226 (11226|2) - make this into 1/2 ln because lulz (if you agree, apply to other part too)
00:13:369 (13369|3,13512|0) - I'm sure adding a 1/4 here wouldn't hurt so much for HD player
00:18:369 (18369|2) - crash should be doubled right?
00:25:226 (25226|0) - hmm I think the right one(NM) is better here http://puu.sh/xVukO/1984eed27a.jpg
00:27:084 - I can clearly hear the roll start here not there 00:27:226 (27226|0) -
00:41:226 (41226|1) - need more impact here
01:17:798 (77798|2) - same here, maybe add something add 1st column
01:34:941 (94941|3) - it shouldn't be different  http://puu.sh/xVuBL/5c21a79419.jpg
02:01:226 (121226|1) - again with the crash
02:46:941 (166941|0) - I wanna hold something here :(
-MX-
00:05:798 (5798|0) - why the1/2 lns stopped here?
00:22:512 (22512|2,22655|0) - missed 1/4
00:25:226 (25226|3) - same problem as HD
00:38:941 - don't you tink HD has more complex/difficult pattern than MX? http://puu.sh/xVuUa/f879bf726d.jpg
00:55:155 (55155|2,55298|2) - I choked on this part lolz. maybe ctrl+h this? 00:55:298 (55298|2,55369|1) -
00:56:298 (56298|1,56441|1) - *double choked*
01:35:512 (95512|0) - I think this ln is misplaced no? should start at the red line
02:16:869 (136869|2,137012|2) - pls do something about this ;W;
02:46:941 - add something to hold
-SC-
00:00:084 (84|0) - no 1/2 ln really? hmm
00:27:226 (27226|1,27369|2) - ignoring 1/4 beat (not to mention the sound is quite obvious) in high diff is a crime, sir
01:38:084 (98084|1,98226|2) - again here sir
02:46:941 (166941|3) - same issue like previous diffs

2nd modded map for my reopening of the queue
Good thing I haven't modded the last diff since its not ready. . . u should have put some notice/caution lol

SHC
  1. 00:16:084 - to 00:17:941 - should use double in every red lines to highlight the main sound? dunno what sound is this lol
  2. 00:18:369 - this should be cybols if not mistaken. Maybe just a note here or sacrifice a note 00:18:298 - and add 00:18:369 -
  3. 00:27:512 - ^
  4. 01:17:798 - 01:20:084 - cybol?
  5. 01:27:226 - to 01:27:655 - hmmm, miss in col4
SC
  1. 00:41:226 - till the end of 1st kiai - lemme get a grasp at this mapping style, i can seem to understand u map only double for crash in the intro and triple for kiai, but also a cybol/cyambal double? while the crash are triple? is this intentional/ur style?
  2. 00:49:369 - actually a cybol(if not mistaken), and u actually do triple in this, but not in other parts?
  3. 02:01:226 - till the end of 2nd kiai - same as my 1st
  4. 02:18:798 (138798|2) - much better to move to col1 to represent the sound and match w/02:18:441 (138441|3,138584|3,138726|3,138869|3) - and move 02:18:941 (138941|0) - somewhere

Only that short since the structure seems fine, its just I dont get ur style so I didnt press anything. . . Well GL

  1. 00:16:084 - to 00:17:941 - should use double in every red lines to highlight the main sound? dunno what sound is this lol if i add double every red line here it would be too dense so change to something else

  3. 00:27:512 - ^ ok
  4. 01:17:798 - 01:20:084 - cybol? keep it to make it easy to read, triple after 1/8 stream cause a minijack
  5. 01:27:226 - to 01:27:655 - hmmm, miss in col4 thats fine

00:32:369 (32369|1,32798|2,33226|0,33655|3) - i dont know if these 3 LN's have a sound maybe add single notes for the sound insteadt
if you want to keep them then this one should be an LN aswell 00:35:941 (35941|1) -
00:43:084 (43084|1,43369|2,43655|1) - what sound is there?

01:19:369 (79369|1) - extend
01:42:369 (102369|2) - move to 01:42:387 -
i question these as i did last time 01:43:226 (103226|1,103655|2,104084|0,104512|3) -
these 2 notes if not removed above should be ln's 01:45:512 (105512|1,106798|1) -

you can make this one OD 8.8 if you change the other one then they will be a challenge in their own ways OD 8.8 is too much, maybe i can raise it up to like 8.2,but more than that is pure evil. ok this is suppose to be for SHD well OD 8.8 with some short LN stream is still too hard imo, will see more opinion from other first.
maybe lower the HP a little to 8.8
00:15:941 (15941|3) - this note extend to 00:16:084 - ok

01:03:369 - add an LN here missing sound woops

the first one is keep, since i want the pattern to be quite simple as much as possible,
the pattern in the pic has a minitrill in it. About the second picture, as you can see, i dont use triple any where in the kiai, so i would keep this as double here.

  1. 00:05:798 (5798|0) - u can extend this LN until 00:07:369 - cuz the ring's sound end here n make it more playable
  2. 00:13:369 (13369|0) - i think it more fit if u put a short note here. if u wanna keep it for roll sound, i suggest to make LN here 00:12:369 (12369|0) - for roll
  3. 00:17:369 - add note plz same sound like 00:16:798 (16798|1) - to cover 1/4 sound
  4. 00:20:369 (20369|3) - this LN seems awkward tbh, maybe change into short note it will be better for the next sound 00:20:655 -
  5. 00:21:512 (21512|0) - this should be LN for roll
  6. 00:22:369 - add note here, i'm quite sure this sound is similar with 00:22:655 (22655|3,22798|1) -
  7. 00:59:512 - little cymbal would suggest to make double here
  8. 01:11:584 (71584|1,71798|0) - swap col
  9. 01:15:226 (75226|1) - extend the LN to white tick like thiis 00:56:941 (56941|1) -
  10. 01:52:369 - from this until 2nd kiai, idk why u put 1/1 beat n ignore the main beat 01:52:512 - 01:52:798 - etc i like to suggest like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9421601 https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9421608 https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9421611 more fit with the song
  11. 02:27:655 (147655|0) - how about move this to 02:27:798 - n than 02:27:941 (147941|1) - extend to 02:28:369 -
  12. 02:44:369 (164369|3) - same above, extend to white tick

[SC]
  1. 00:01:084 (1084|2) - I would really prefer this note to be in a different column with 00:00:798 (798|2) - as both follows a different sound in terms of pitch. However, I don't really see this as a clean solution. A lot of rearranging would be required so, it's up to you whether you want to rearrange notes or not.
  2. 00:09:941 - you can make the kick and the snare follow the pitch of that "arcade-y" sound (sorry not sure what its called D:). Here's an example, however I would prefer the doubles to be a [2][4] and [1][3] (which will require a lot of rearranging as well.)
  3. 00:19:655 (19655|2,19798|2) - I'd prefer these to be placed at col. 2 (along with a few rearrangements.) because from 00:18:512 - until 00:22:084 - , all jacks were in the same column. (basically, for variation)
  4. 00:21:941 (21941|2,22084|2) - these notes can be placed to a different column, for example at 4. The sound these notes are following are higher in pitch than what was played in 00:20:798 - and 00:20:941 - , 00:19:655 - and 00:19:798 - , etc.
  5. 00:25:869 - add note?
  6. 00:44:941 (44941|2,45084|3) - I think these sliders should change columns? so that they follow pitch relevancy.
  7. 00:49:655 (49655|3) - extend to 00:49:941 - ? seems better this way
  8. 01:07:512 - compared to 02:18:369 - , personally I find the first one a difficulty spike so... up to you

[MX]
  1. 00:03:369 - This should follow pitch relevancy as well as to stick to your previous patterns.
  2. 00:21:941 (21941|2,22084|2) - same suggestion stated in SC
didn't really find anything else tbh, seems like a solid difficulty

[HD]
  1. 00:03:226 (3226|0) - i think its better to put it to col.2 as the lowering of pitch here is very audible.
  2. 00:39:155 (39155|0,39369|0) - I recommend that these notes are in a different column to each other, as they follow a different pitch, unlike 00:39:084 (39084|2,39226|2) - .
  3. 00:39:584 (39584|3,39798|3) - ^same suggestion
  4. 01:50:012 (110012|0,110226|0) - ^
  5. 01:50:441 (110441|3,110655|3) - ^
on a side note i really like the point of not putting doubles/triples

[NM]
  1. 00:51:512 (51512|0,51726|1,51941|2) - i recommend to make these ones sliders so that players can be clearly informed that theres the possibility of transitioning to a new snap. too lazy to state each one of these xd
nothing else to state. only a NM diff anyway

hope it helps D:

Hello

Umeboshi Onigiri MX

00:12:226 - pattern suggestion, imo in order to make the pattern comfortable you can make the stairs in one direction .-.

00:13:369 - same sound with 00:22:512 - , considering either to add a note or delete a note on 00:22:512 -
OR, make 00:22:512 - consistents with 00:27:084 - by adding a note on 00:22:655 - but the problem is you are using two notes for kicks in this section
while on the latter you are using two notes for snares. This is also a consistency matter that might have to be considered.
Because a player might end up not knowing which note for which sound, that could affect enjoyment in their playthrough (and now im exaggerating :D )

00:43:512 - might want to check its consistency. please compare it with 00:41:226 -
00:48:084 - why stop using LN so sudden for main melody with 1/2 length? :C , u can add an LN here 00:48:084 - (please)
also 00:46:369 (46369|3,46655|3,46941|3,47226|3,47512|3,47798|3) - might want to shuffle :D

welp the reason is as i mentioned above,
add a note for each
00:57:226 - 00:57:655 - 00:58:084 - because you are using 2 notes for kicks and snares in the previous section and the next section

as the same for this section 01:15:512 -

umm you might want to use different pattern..
compare this 01:22:369 - with this 01:31:512 -
8 different tones and 6 different tones for the latter. and length of those notes is different for each section.
that kind of pattern cannot represent those differences >.>

for this section 01:38:369 - through 01:42:369 -
as mentioned above, be consistent with how many note for each snare and kick :D

the rest is fine, goodluck o/

ps. are you sure for using kiai that much? .-.

  1. 00:05:798 (5798|0) - u can extend this LN until 00:07:369 - cuz the ring's sound end here n make it more playable
  2. 00:13:369 (13369|0) - i think it more fit if u put a short note here. if u wanna keep it for roll sound, i suggest to make LN here 00:12:369 (12369|0) - for roll
  3. 00:17:369 - add note plz same sound like 00:16:798 (16798|1) - to cover 1/4 sound
  4. 00:20:369 (20369|3) - this LN seems awkward tbh, maybe change into short note it will be better for the next sound 00:20:655 - change to shorter LN
  5. 00:21:512 (21512|0) - this should be LN for roll
  6. 00:22:369 - add note here, i'm quite sure this sound is similar with 00:22:655 (22655|3,22798|1) - it didn't have drum there
  7. 00:59:512 - little cymbal would suggest to make double here
  8. 01:11:584 (71584|1,71798|0) - swap col
  9. 01:15:226 (75226|1) - extend the LN to white tick like thiis 00:56:941 (56941|1) -
  10. 01:52:369 - from this until 2nd kiai, idk why u put 1/1 beat n ignore the main beat 01:52:512 - 01:52:798 - etc i like to suggest like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9421601 https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9421608 https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9421611 more fit with the song would keep since it follow the background sound
  11. 02:27:655 (147655|0) - how about move this to 02:27:798 - n than 02:27:941 (147941|1) - extend to 02:28:369 - add note at 02:27:798 - instead
  12. 02:44:369 (164369|3) - same above, extend to white tick

add a note at 00:13:441 - , i miss that, btw in the first part, i try to use single for all sound there except the jump every big(?) white line.

00:43:512 - might want to check its consistency. please compare it with 00:41:226 - i do the same thing tho, jump for both kick and snare,
single for the rest and LN for the melody.

Hi, NM Request from my modding queue.

4K:1|2|3|4

[Ikura Onigiri "SC"]
  1. 00:33:941 - You need one more note here for the drum sound, so you can try this way to rearrange then: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9435588
  2. 00:34:798 - And also here too,so if you apply my previous mod, add a note on col4 then.
  3. 00:53:798 - to 00:54:369 - If you want to fully represent the pitch relevancy, try this way to rearrange your LNs then: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9435593
  4. 01:44:798 - Here is the same problem as 00:33:941 - How about trying a different way to rework the patterns? http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9435599
  5. 01:45:655 - Here is the same as 00:34:798 -, and also add a note on col4 for the drum sound.
  6. 02:27:512 - to 02:28:655 - In this bar you are suddenly raising the difficulty in my opinion because you are using 1/8 patterns for nearly the whole bar. However, for most 1/8 sounds before you are just ignoreing them to catch some easier 1/4 or 1/2 melodic sounds. I think this way should also be applied here. My solution is, 02:27:512 - to 02:28:084 - for the first half of this bar, try to avoid using 1/8 patterns but just catch those 1/2 melodic sounds. The second half you can just keep them as it is now. Here is a way to rearrange them: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9435613
  7. This is a very decent chart. I can't see any big problems inside it.
[Salmon Onigiri "SHD"]
  1. 00:25:298 (25298|1,26441|2) - I don't really think there are actually sounds there. You may slow down to check if I am right but I prefer you to delete them sicne there are no sounds for me.
  2. As what you did in 00:33:798 - , triple note for heavier snare, I do think on these lines with heavier snares: 00:34:512 - 00:34:941 - 00:36:084 - you will still need triple notes.
  3. I would really prefer you to delete this 00:48:155 (48155|2) - even if there are sounds here because you have been catching a more obvious melody line around these bars with short 1/4 LNs, and here indeed has no such obvious melody sound but only the previous weaker one. With this note your focus here may be broken in my opinion, and what's more, why not giving players a small rest from 1/4 handstreams that continue for many bars?
  4. 00:50:084 - Here is another heavier snare you used to make triple note with, so how about moving 00:50:155 (50155|1) - this to col3 and add one on 00:50:084 - in col2?
  5. 00:55:012 (55012|0,55441|2,55869|2,56155|1,56584|0) - I still don't like these notes mixing with all 1/4 LNs. The reasons go with 00:48:155 (48155|2) - this note, and deleting them will definitely make your patterns neater.
  6. 01:06:441 (66441|1) - The same idea as 00:48:155 (48155|2) - , deleting it for clearer focus.
  7. 01:13:298 (73298|3,73726|1,74155|1,74441|2,74869|3) - The same idea as 00:55:012 (55012|0,55441|2,55869|2,56155|1,56584|0) -
  8. 01:21:941 - 01:22:084 - Add one more note on each line to keep your pattern of catching drum sounds consistent.I prefer this way to rearrange then: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9435680
  9. 01:23:512 (83512|1) - Moving this to col3 will relieve a pressure caused by 01:23:512 (83512|1,83655|1,83726|1) - this 3-note stack.
  10. 01:32:655 (92655|3) - Moving this to col3 will do the same thing as above 01:23:512 (83512|1) -
  11. 01:37:941 - to 01:38:369 - I think this way can represent the music better: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9435697, as 01:38:084 - a triple here for heavier drum really keeps your pattern consistent and the double notes for weaker drums are still necessary for me.
  12. 01:42:369 - Here you may also need a triple note for the heavier snare.
  13. 01:45:369 - 01:45:798 - 01:46:941 - Still need triple notes on these lines for heavy snares.
  14. 02:05:869 (125869|0,126298|2,126726|2,127012|1,127441|0) - Deleting them as the reasons for 00:55:012 (55012|0,55441|2,55869|2,56155|1,56584|0) -, clearer focus in short.
  15. 02:17:298 (137298|1) - The same idea as above, deleting for better focus.
  16. 02:24:155 (144155|3,144584|1,145012|1,145298|2,145726|3) - Still the same idea, deleting for better focus.
  17. 02:27:798 (147798|2) - I know this LN is for melody, but don't you think that this LN pattern is broken too much? I mean, for a single LN standing here between 1/8, it makes players feel weird at first glance. It is even better to just delete it and leave that inteval empty for some while, which may also give players a short rest for preparation of next wave of 1/8 patterns.
  18. 02:35:584 (155584|2) - The same idea as 02:17:298 (137298|1) -, deleting for better focus.
  19. 02:42:441 (162441|3,163298|1,163584|2,164012|3) - The same idea as 02:24:155 (144155|3,144584|1,145012|1,145298|2,145726|3) -, deleting for better focus.
  20. Well, you have really decent LN use in this difficulty. I appreciate your effort!

That's all for me. Good luck and hope this mod post help you more or less!

  2. 00:28:226 - 00:28:941 - compared with 00:29:369 - 00:29:941 - , they are same sound but length are different so I feel awkward, make same concept.
  3. 00:30:655 (30655|2) - delete the rice to make same with 00:30:798 -
  4. 00:31:798 - 00:32:084 - resize the 00:31:798 (31798|0,31869|1) - to 1/4 LN cause they are same length with 00:31:941 (31941|3,32012|2) - and add one note at 00:31:941 - for drum is more reasonable tho
  5. 00:35:226 (35226|0) - stretch this to 00:35:941 - to retain same concept with 00:34:798 (34798|3,35369|2) - 00:34:226 (34226|2,34941|0) -
  6. 00:57:012 (57012|3,57226|3) - delete this rice and stretch ln to 00:57:226 - so make same concept with 00:57:226 (57226|0,57369|1,57512|2) - 00:57:655 (57655|3,57798|2,57941|1) -
  7. 01:04:084 (64084|1) - compared with 00:45:798 (45798|1) - , it should be rice tho
    and 01:05:226 (65226|2) - 01:06:369 (66369|1) - 01:06:941 (66941|3) - 01:07:512 (67512|1) - many unnecessary 1/4 lns, maybe more
  8. 02:00:512 - you miss one note for melody

I'm sleepy so just quick view

plain onigiri "NM"
00:46:369 (46369|2,47084|2) - I choose this link for example,yeah I've look some of
part like this but I think shield pattern on normal diff was not exactly in
time, because maybe for newbie player playing shield pattern is hard imo.

01:59:512 (119512|2) - umm I wonder,are you accidentally putting this LN like this?yeah
different with other LN so you must change that or that pattern will be awkward

02:10:369 (130369|2) - add 1 note for cymbal

tbh I'm not good enough to mod low star rate diff,so just that my mod come from uwu

Umeboshi Onigiri "MX"
01:49:441 (109441|3) - want to add 1 note from this?there is a sound so I think it will
better if you do my suggestion owo

02:24:941 (144941|3,145226|3,145512|3,145798|3,146084|3,146369|3) - link for example
again.just my suggestion from here, yeah some of part more or less like this, change the
position of the note cause there is a little stacks of note imo

well this diff probably need to be neated a bit again imo cause of little stacks

Ikura Onigiri "SC"
00:18:369 (18369|1) - remove 1 note?putting 4 notes for that part is awkward imo

00:27:084 (27084|3,27084|2,27155|1,27155|0,27226|3,27226|2,27298|1,27298|0,27369|2,27369|3,27441|0,27441|1,27512|3,27512|2) -
uhh why did you put double trill like that
since the sound is better??I need your reason or if you didn't have any reason then
rearrange it for sure owo

00:50:226 (50226|3) - move to col 3 to avoid stacks

01:37:941 (97941|3,97941|2,98012|0,98012|1,98084|2,98084|3,98155|1,98155|0,98226|3,98226|2,98298|1,98298|0,98369|2,98369|3) - same problem

nice LN map!

I'm so sorry for little mod since that map is good enough for me
but good luck! :)
