Hi M4M for my map.
[ Easy]
[ Normal]
[ Hard]
[ Light Insane]
[ Kitty's Insane]
Good luck.~
[ Easy]
- 00:48:190 (4,1) - The song transitions into the kiai but the only way the map reflects this change is through an NC. No pattern differentiation, no rhythm differentiation, no flow differentiation, nothing. Would recommend changing this so that it better reflects the song change. // 00:58:190 (3,1) -
[ Normal]
- 00:06:002 (5) - Doesn't seem like a necessary note to map in such a low density part. To give 00:06:315 (1) - more emphasis I recommend removing it.
- 00:34:752 (3) - Probably would work better a circle to keep complexity a bit lower. For most of these 1/2 sliders like 00:36:002 (6) - you can replace them with circles to make it more noob-friendly too.
- 00:38:658 (1) - Really strong note on slider end, would recommend making it clickable. // 00:43:658 (1) -
- 01:15:377 (5,2) - Stack?
- 01:26:315 (1,2,3) - Introducing a 3 notes at 1/2 as literally the last notes of the song is just unfair and I would recommend changing this because it's never used before in the map.
[ Hard]
- 00:06:002 (5) - This isn't even mapped to anything noticeable I had to reply this without the slider like 3 times to figure out it's mapped to the breath of the vocalist. Would recommend removing it.
- 00:06:783 (2,1) - 2 has way more stronger beats than 1 but you map them both with a reverse right after each other. I recommend circles or 1/2 sliders for 2 instead of a reverse. // 01:14:283 (2,1) -
- 00:09:440 (3,4,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,1) - This is very cramped up lol, you can definitely branch out and use more of the playfield.
- 00:11:783 (2,3) - Could work instead with a reverse + circle to match the guitar better. http://i.imgur.com/ey7amSF.png // 00:16:783 (2,3) - (happens in other places too)
- 00:13:346 (4,5) - I don't really understand why it's stacked since there isn't a similarity in sounds or anything. In fact it makes more sense to stack 00:13:190 (3,4) - because they're the same sound. This persists throughout the map really.
- 00:18:190 (3,4) - Differentiate these shapes from 00:17:877 (2) - because the snares come in there? Personally I'd use stacked circles like this or similar: http://i.imgur.com/6gSbOCG.png
- 01:12:252 (4) - Should be kept as a circle if you're following drums because if you want to merge vocals you would need to make 01:11:315 (1,2,3) - all 1/2 sliders.
[ Light Insane]
Lol if you just used triples in the Hard you won't even need this difficulty.
- 00:01:002 (1) - Works better as two circles for two distinct vocals cuz you did it at 00:03:502 (3,4).
- 00:06:002 (3) - Also not a necessary note.
- 00:12:096 (4) - Could be all circles or use the rhythm I suggested in Hard because atm this is covering a snare with a slider end and the guitar is stronger on the end too. // 00:16:783 (2,3) -
- 00:18:658 (6,1) - Shouldn't be stacked imo since 1 is clearly different than 6.
- 00:23:190 (4) - Could work as two stacked circles for guitar emphasis.
- 00:39:908 (4,1) - No emphasis, I would move 4 down more like http://i.imgur.com/22rAXff.jpg so it's more feel...able? // 00:41:158 (5,1) - 00:42:408 (4,1) - 00:43:658 (6,1) - 00:44:908 (4,1) - (yeah basically all of these)
- 00:49:440 (3,4,5) - Triangle looks super weird. You can do this to make it nicer: http://i.imgur.com/Y4ExpGv.png but that would kill a lot of patterning. Imo it's worth it cuz what you have now is kinda... not too nice.
- 00:54:127 (2,4,5) - Triangle with 2's end, 4, and 5?
- 00:58:502 (7) - 1/4 reverse?
- 01:13:815 (1) - Skipping a drum, you could make this a reverse to fix that.
[ Kitty's Insane]
Why tickrate 2 when the rest are tickrate 1 and work fine? o.O
- 00:05:846 (5,6) - Can also be removed because while I get you're following the guitar it's so quiet in the back that players are going to naturally focus on the vocals, thus tapping this out will feel a bit weird imo.
- 00:06:783 (2,3,4) - For three distinct sounds like this I feel like it should be more spaced but it's up to preference.
- 00:11:627 (2) - Move up for a nicer star: http://i.imgur.com/ryimq5r.png
- 00:38:346 (6,1) - Pixel overlap or blanket. You choose.
- 00:40:065 (1) - Really strong but no movement emphasis at all, it's just stacked. For that reason it feels the same as 00:39:908 (4) - but isn't the same at all. // 00:44:908 (4,1) -
- 01:26:315 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - RIP Hexagon.http://i.imgur.com/P2YDVjq.png
Good luck.~
