Heya~ M4M from your queue.
Overall, the diff can use a lot of polishing imo since there are still a lot of places where I see potential for better placements.
Nice diff, ars. I don’t really have a problem with it. Once the hitsounds are added then the diff will be great.
Good diff, but at the beginning especially some of the placements felt very random. I usually map my Hards with the distance spacing option activated most of the times and then I just place small jumps here and there. If the notes are placed too randomly then the patterns will look a bit untidy and disorganized. There are also a few places where I heard finishes (cymbal sounds) but you didn’t use a finish hitsound on them. Here are a few examples: 03:44:294 (1) – (head) 03:45:571 (1) – (head) 03:46:847 (1) – (head) 03:47:964 (4) – (tail) 03:49:560 (1) – (head) 03:50:677 (4) – (head) 03:51:954 (4) - The whistle sounds that you placed on a few of them aren’t enough to emphasize the finishes.
The Normal and Easy already looks fine to me.
Good Luck~!
General:
- Almost all the diffs are ending on different places and as far as I have heard, all the diffs have to end on exactly the same spot. Correct me if I’m wrong please.
tutu's Neuroi:
- Check AiMod. Apparently there are two objects’ that are not snapped properly and I have to agree.
- 00:09:826 (8) –I don’t really understand why this is a short slider since I don’t hear a beat here: 00:09:906 – A single circle will be better imo.
- 00:13:975 (1,2,3,4) –Try to organize this shape so that it looks more like a diamond shape.
- 00:14:135 (2,3,6) –I personally am not a fan of too much unnecessary overlapping and here I think you can stack that slider on either 00:14:135 (2) – or 00:14:294 (3) –
- 00:15:092 (1,3) –I would have tried to make a nice blanket here to avoid the overlapping.
- 00:28:337 –This vocal sounds rather important to me, so I think it would be better to map it out.
- 00:47:645 (4,5) –I usually discourage stacks like this since it disrupts flow.
- 00:50:677 (5) –There’s clearly a finish sound on this slider’s head, so place a cymbal sound or something here.
- 01:06:315 (7) –New combo here? The current combo is kind of long.
- 01:07:034 –I don’t hear a beat here, so it would be better to change this: 01:06:954 (11) – into a circle.
- 01:16:688 –There’s a vocal here, so placing a note here will fill that gap and support the flow.
- 01:27:539 (1) –I don’t really understand this new combo since there’s nothing in the music to support it.
- 01:36:794 (8) –I would understand if a new combo was placed here for example since the loud beat supports it.
- 01:37:991 (6,1) –Rather make the spacing similar to the rest?
- 01:41:741 –The strong vocals are actually here, so I think a rhythm like this would be better:
I think this same thing occurred in the previous kiai.
Overall, the diff can use a lot of polishing imo since there are still a lot of places where I see potential for better placements.
Insane:
- 00:09:826 –Since this is a strong beat that has to be clickable imo, I suggest placing a circle here and moving the spinner to this tick: 00:09:986 –
- 00:13:018 (3,4) –There are two strong beats here that I think would benefit from a better pattern/rhythm. Something like this perhaps:
I guess two normal circles in the place of the short ones will work as well. - 00:30:411 (1,2,3,4,5) –Try to make this circle/flower shape look more like a circle/flower. Like this:
- 00:34:081 (1) –Remove new combo here and place it here instead: 00:34:241 (2) –
- 00:44:454 (1,3) –You can try to make these two sliders look similar to each other by copy and pasting 00:44:454 (1) –
- 00:45:571 (6) –I think I would rather place the new combo here since that strong cymbal sound supports it better. So remove new combo here then as well: 00:45:890 (1) –
- 01:33:603 (3,4) –Increase the spacing between these two notes to make the spacings similar to the rest.
- 02:04:560 (4,1) –Increase this spacing since the finish sound supports it so that you get a bit of a jump here. There are other similar places as well where the finish sound helps to give you a bit of a jump to emphasize that beat.
- 02:08:230 (6) –You can place a triple here since there are strong beats that support it.
- 02:39:507 (2,6) –Try to avoid this overlap. It looks a bit untidy imo. So just space the rest of the pattern out so they aren’t touching each other.
- 03:36:794 –This is a very important and strong beat and you can’t have it in a slider’s tummy, so try to map it out. Like this:
- 03:41:581 (1) –Remove new combo here and add it here: 03:41:901 (2) – since the strong beat is on (2)
Nice diff, ars. I don’t really have a problem with it. Once the hitsounds are added then the diff will be great.
Hard:
- 00:01:528 (4,1) –Increase the distance between these two notes since there are a rather long pause between them.
- 00:02:326 (1,2) –I don’t understand why these two are overlapping but these two: 00:01:050 (3,4) – are not and they have the exact same rhythm. They are not really supposed to overlap since that will be too easy for a Hard so avoid the overlapping here.
- 00:32:964 (1,2,3) –This looks untidy since the notes are almost touching and the blanket can be better. Do something like this:
- 01:30:411 (1,3) -^
- 02:01:369 – to 02:19:560 – This break is rather long and in Insane you didn’t place a break here so I think it would be better to map this area out since it is mappable and you already have a break here as well: 02:43:177 –
- 02:53:869 (4,5) –I usually discourage stacks like this since it disrupts flow. So rather unstack.
- 01:00:252 (2) – and 03:21:954 (2) – These two sliders doesn’t really follow any rhythm imo. Try something different please. Something that’s not on a blue tick. This is fine: 01:56:422 (3,4,5) –
Good diff, but at the beginning especially some of the placements felt very random. I usually map my Hards with the distance spacing option activated most of the times and then I just place small jumps here and there. Normal:
- Raise the HP to 4 or 4.5. Three is too low for a Normal imo.
- I guess the finish sounds that I mentioned in the Hard will be a problem in the Easy and Normal as well, so just watch out for that.
- 00:08:709 (1,1) –The spacing between the spinner and the next note is definitely a problem and will be unrankable, so make the spinner shorter so the reaction time is longer. I suggest shortening the spinner to 00:10:305 –
- 00:12:539 (2,1) –This spacing is incorrect. You can space 00:14:135 (1) – out normally.
- 00:26:581 (4,1) –This spacing has to be fixed. These two objects are too far from each other.
- 00:59:773 (6) –Add a new combo here. The current combo gets rather long.
- 01:07:752 (2,3,1,2) –I would try avoiding this overlap by placing 01:09:986 (1,2) – on the right side of the grid.
- 01:17:645 (5) –This is a very important beat that has to be mapped out. Perhaps you can make this slider: 01:16:688 (4) – longer to 01:17:326 - and place the circle on the big white tick.
- 01:31:369 (3) – and 01:01:050 (8) – These two claps sound very random, lol since you didn’t place it anywhere else.
- Here I also feel that you could have mapped that first break out.
Easy:
- I think the AR may be too big for an Easy. Lower it to 3. I’m not 100% sure, so you can doublecheck this with a QAT or another BN, but I personally think 4 is too big.
- 00:08:709 (1,1) –This reaction time also feels a bit too short to me. Either shorten the spinner or start mapping a bit later again after the spinner or remove the spinner and map that area out.
The Normal and Easy already looks fine to me.
Good Luck~!
