You're on the same level of ignorance as tupsu if you think you've won all or even one of the arguments you've had here recently. On the level of delusional even.
Mahogany
When someone stops debating points and then starts resorting to attacks and insults such as you are right now, I consider that a victory.
EneT
Keep telling yourself that. You have failed to change the perspective of anyone in this forum and that is the final conclusion to who wins a debate. So either you're delusional or everyone else in the world is.
Faust

Women, singing, dancing, playing instruments and games. I also like teaching.

If people on this forum are anything like you, I'm not surprised. Why are you so obsessed with winning, though? I engage in these conversations to expand my mind, but "winning" seems to be the only thing you care about which is fairly disappointing.

EneT wrote:

you mean this forum, not the world
Difference is people have to actually engage with my points in real life instead of just diving into insults, so stuff actually gets done unlike here.

EneT wrote:

Wow, you're mad. It's pretty egocentric of you to think the entire world's on your side.
EneT
No one apart from ignorant people like yourself such as tupsu has agreed to any of the points you have made in any argument, the arguments you've had recently and the arguments you've had in the past, with B1rd and all. It's really hard to when you make some random shit up. I have never sided with you in any of the arguments you've had with B1rd to give an example. I can see why he just ignores everything you say, it's honestly tiring talking to someone so hesitant to accept that people have other opinions other than his.

EneT wrote:

Why, because you two are alike?

EneT wrote:

That's extremely hypocritical
EneT
Ha, you think I don't accept the opinions of others?
I think Jordan is racist in general and many of the things he said were racist but I could accept that some of his points weren't racist and in fact true; I can see why he thinks in such a way. That was the origin of my argument against you calling everything he said racist.

I'm against Islam in general but recently I argued FOR Islam, that at it's base, it is not a religion of evil and violence. Do you not remember how much I've slandered Muslims in the past of this thread?

Where do you see my hypocrisy?
Mahogany

EneT wrote:

Where do you see my hypocrisy?
You complain about me not accepting other opinions, and then continue to imply that I'm always wrong, and you then claim only ignorant people would be likely to agree with me.

So there's that. It was all in one post, too, so that's an impressive amount of hypocracy and lack of self-awareness, almost a record! Good job!
EneT
It's safe to assume you're wrong on arguments when you keep arguing about things you know nothing about. It's not that people are not willing to accept your opinions, it's that your opinions are based off of assumptions you shit out of your ass. You on the other hand completely refuse the opinions of others, you refused to accept the points and reasons of Trump supporters and just dismissed it to them just being racist

EneT wrote:

Correction: I refuse to accept the points of the worst people on the internet
I'm sure there are plenty of reasonable trump supporters, but the people here and elsewhere online have proven themselves to be horrible people in several ways.
I'd rather speak to the average trump supporter than the hateful legions form the worst recesses of the internet.

Kisses wrote:

Mahogany, if I may steal a quote from you, "Maybe the problem is you?" xddd
sure, if you say it to enet
EneT
Sure, sure, that wasn't what you were saying back then. Ignoring the Trump trolling, B1rd provided decent points as to why he was for Trump yet you ignored every single one of them. All you said was "No, no, no, no, shut up Trump is racist so his supporters must be racist, anyone who supports him is a racist cunt."
Even if the person isn't deserving of reputation, you mustn't discriminate when they provide a point. Take into account the opinions of all people.

It's hard NOT to think Trump is racist when literally the KKK supports and backs him. It's natural people are going to hate him
Mahogany

EneT wrote:

All you said was

Though it quickly became apparent was that these people did not value that equality at all or are just assholes

Don't interrupt Roseus, you don't know the context of the argument. Mahogany believed that every single Trump supporter was racist and dismissed any points anyone made of why he was a better candidate than Hillary. Chalked it up to anyone who supports Trump supports an evil cause.

I don't talk with Roseus, but I think they're nice, and I consider us to be cool with each-other. I don't believe we've ever had a significant disagreement, so I don't feel compelled to have to get them "on my side" either.
But of course, everything's a fight to you, isn't it? It's X vs Y, not a learning experience or anything. That's the same impression I get from a lot of people.

Your point however doesn't add to the argument at hand as the Trump vs Hillary debate is separate from this. The point of using it as an example was to prove how much Mahogany is unwilling to accept people's views. Your point adds nothing, it just adds unnecessary attention to a debate that we have left in the past.

lol, learning experience my ass. I'm pretty sure you don't think that or you just got that of your ass because it's not a 'learning experience' when you're calling people out for being racist. It would be a learning experience if you had said "Hey guys, I would like to know the opinions of Trump supporters, mind helping me learn the perspective of another individual?" but nah, you didn't. It was more like "Fuck Trump supporters, y'all racist."

They also give money to the local bakery though.

The point is: Making an inference based on who your supporters are, can be invalid in many cases. Such cases include: when there are only few parties to choose from, like two presidential candidates, or two local bakeries, one of which has shitty cupcakes, so there's really only one to go to.

Are you gonna call Hillary a left-wing terrorist because left-wing extremists endorsed her over trump? That's just stupid.

I can assure you that most racists in the voted against Obama because he is black. Does that mean Mitt Romney and McCain were both racists? Lol.

When their reasonings are racist, it's valid to call them out. Tolerance dies when we're tolerant of the intolerant.

EneT wrote:

It ended up exactly the same way, primarily because the vocal trump supporters on the internet (I'll use b1rd as my example) are extremely toxic and hateful people
So yeah, I did that and it ended up progressing to that stage

Solution: Open up your own bakery, or support a new enterprise that's opening

I personally don't like trump but trump isn't responsible for the KKK's actions so I don't think it's fair to to label him based off the actions of a small percentage of his supporters

Lemme give you an example of a 'learning experience' Mahogany. Sometime during last year someone made an LGBT thread on GD which resulted in a bunch of people arguing on it. Me having homophobic tendencies, instead of being offensive and joining in the argument I reached out to someone to teach me and explain what it really means to be trans. It resulted in a civil exchange of PMs with a FtM trans teaching me and answering my questions. That, is a learning experience, nothing you have done has been on the civil side and can be considered a 'learning experience'.

EneT wrote:

Right, calling B1rd out for being an asshole and calling me the same for siding with him over you doesn't really speak 'civil'. Maybe in your head every time someone talks shit about you it's not civil and every time you talk shit about someone else it is civil, maybe.

I have a really hard time participating because I dislike making points being not well informed and also because people are relatively quick in getting personal here.

I don't like it when arguments start off with name calling such as what Jellybean does. I myself don't result to name calling unless the other person has proven themselves to be autistic or uninformed. It's really good. Already finished the game and everything. Just working on side quests now.
The main storyline isn't similar to any other storyline's in the franchise but I can tell you that the very last scene is beautiful. MADE ME CRY.

Apparently the story is incredibly short and lacking in comparison to previous FF games. If the story is as sleep-inducing as XIII then I'mma be mad.

It's short if you just aim to play it straight through but I finished the game in about 30 hours. It was pretty fun. But even if I describe it for you, I'll literally be spoiling it. The only thing I can tell you is that it isn't like FFXIII.

People like these always try to give you the impression that verbal smackdowns aren't effective when used against them, but you have to remember that this is not actually true. They use ridicule as their number one method to put themselves above others, giving you the impression that you "lose" when you "get mad". Reminding them that making others mad isn't honourable, and that there are good reasons to get mad at others undermines this strategy very well.
Other than that, you can just go with the textbook strategies, like creating a sense of "us vs. you", repeating core points, turning their arguments against them (it's not me that's immature, it's YOU and THIS proves it), and so on. Proving an understanding of how he operates is the most effective thing there is.
They might still laugh it off and be like "ayy he's mad", but if you manage to get just one person to agree with you in chat, that'll turn the tables.

I'm just writing this up as I go, but maybe something like

"Do you seriously take pride in the fact that people get mad at you for being an arrogant little bitch? Are you stupid? If you had anything that only roughly resembled social skills, you could tell that you're not actually contributing to the conversation, but rather being a nuisance. Can't you tell how people aren't responsive because they can't even be bothered to talk to you anymore? Now you're probably going to give me your silly ridiculing lol xd response again as if that would make you superior, but you don't realize that you're the only one who finds it funny."

Or you could just kick him. Aint nobody got time for that. Btw is it the channel I think it is?
