I read that as different thing in the first place.jaaakb wrote:

it's not braindead but the skill required for touchscreen aim is incompatibile with how this game rates aim at this point. aim difficulty star rating was designed for mouse/tablet play (It doesn't even rate that properly...) so you can abuse it with touchscreenN0thingSpecial wrote:
I'm 2 months late for the drama, dammit.
Honestly when I see touchscreen plays all I can think is that how can I aim that good with a mouse.
Also I play several touchscreen rthyme games and I can tell you that aim in touch screen is not aa brain dead as you think
Totally can agree with this. And i am one of them aim abusersMomiji wrote:

Easiest PP ever LOL.
EDIT: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/414667
This as well. ^ Most of the map consists of jumps but it gets harder right near the end with a smaller spaced stream. Shouldn't be super hard to tap though.

So it is dumb? Let's compare then.nabel wrote:
So dumb to compare using touchscreen with using hacks.
Aim hacks bypass your aim component by automatically adjusting your cursor to the circles you intitially would've failed to hit.
What does a touch screen do for you? It removes the aim component and a whole level of your skill set; you don't need to learn controlling a device anymore (mice, pens, trackballs). You just 'touch' what you see. Not all too challenging considering every 3-year old can do that.
But that's not all, is it? Touchscreens further eliminate the left/right hand coordination aspect; one of the most important skills in the game. What you touch, is what you aim _AND_ also when/what you hit. Of course, trashy touch screen players won't admit how often combo breaks and worse acc are caused from desync (hands). How do we call this hack? Oh, yeah. Let's call it 'relax hack'. Cause that's what it is.
People around 20k rank get 400pp touch screen plays. If this is not cheating then tell me what is?

Okay, I know I'm late but can you guys just stop hating on touchscreen players? I know that it may sound easier but believe me, it isn't that much. I both tried mouse and touchscreen and I can say that both of them have their downsides.
Touchscreen:
+ precise
+ very distants circles
+ slider
- slow
- spinners cause a lot of difficulty
- when the circles are too close together
Mouse
+ faster
+ spinners
+ when the circles are very close together
± sliders (depending on you)
- less precise
- very distants circles
In conclusion, you just have to use a play style that is best for you. If you prefer precision (touchscreen) or speed (mouse/tablet).

You forgot the most important part about the touchscreen playstyle which is that you can aim with both hands which means insane cross-screen jumps become much easier. That's why people get upset about it.

Yes, that's what I meant by "very distant circles". I'm so sorry, I can't explain well.
And now, back to the point. I know that it upset people because it makes it easier for distant circles but like I said, with a touchscreen, you're giving yourself the advantage to click distant circles but you're also sacrificing the ability to be fast. Spinners are very annoying when you are on touchscreen. The screen is very sticky and it slows you down.
To make it short, touchscreen let you jump from a circle to another circle but slows you down when you want to spin the spinner.

Hmm ok, but spinners are not very important though. The biggest downside with touchscreen is streams.

Touch screen have up to 10 cursors (each finger) what you can keep at each screen spot to pre-aim patterns. You also skip all the aim distances, since you don't move keep and hold with one finger from jump to jump.
You can do a 10 circles pattern almost imposible to aim just by down your fingers like you're using a keyboard instead an aim device.
Some patrerns are the same as play Autopilot mod. I played and keep playing osu! at phone and similar screen devices and it's more than obvious touchscreen devices are in a big adventaje at aim maps.
Also streams are mostly the same since you can drag and use a keyboard or your other hand to use the screen as a keyboard.
You have more ways to do things.
Drag.playstyle at touchscreen should not be nerfed due to tap playstyle.
Isn't that hard to just nerf the tap plays and keep the drag scores. Or make a new space/leaderboard to save tap players scores.
What Isn't good it's what a player with less than half ot a year playing touchscreen, destroy players who are tryharding since almost 10 years at mouse. Makes no sense.
