Ah lol. In that case, I have no idea how to really handle that. If it's just a standard triple-circle stack, I may try to either single-finger tap it or alternate tap it with both hands and likely miss whatever comes after that part if it's on the opposite side of the screen lol.Mahogany wrote:

As for the kind of touchscreen; based on the few touchscreen computers I came across, ELAN seems to be pretty common (pretty sure it isn't advertised as a hardware spec in most cases; someone would have to poll USB info on whatever computer you look into to verify it). The one I have seems responsive, and under Linux it claims to run at 1000Hz.
I use a HP Pavilion P120NR x2 (Amazon appears to have the last one for cheap; usual price is $600+). A 13" tablet is pretty large, but fun for osu! :p

it's not braindead but the skill required for touchscreen aim is incompatibile with how this game rates aim at this point. aim difficulty star rating was designed for mouse/tablet play (It doesn't even rate that properly...) so you can abuse it with touchscreenN0thingSpecial wrote:

this pisses me off. touchscreen is just abother method to play, and its pretty darn similar to tablet since the only difference is that you use a pen. if ur a tablet player then i guess we can all call you a fucking cheater as well!! and have you ever tried to stream with touchscreen? you keyboard players r damn lucky to use two fingers. if u touchscreen, its like singletapping. only you have to use the same hand to aim all at once. plus most of the time when you tap a note, your arm covers up the whole other side of the screen so you cant see it. it also burns ur fingers and finger oils can make the screen less clear and hard to look at.

Okay, I know I'm late but can you guys just stop hating on touchscreen players? I know that it may sound easier but believe me, it isn't that much. I both tried mouse and touchscreen and I can say that both of them have their downsides.
Touchscreen:
+ precise
+ very distants circles
+ slider
- slow
- spinners cause a lot of difficulty
- when the circles are too close together
Mouse
+ faster
+ spinners
+ when the circles are very close together
± sliders (depending on you)
- less precise
- very distants circles
In conclusion, you just have to use a play style that is best for you. If you prefer precision (touchscreen) or speed (mouse/tablet).

Yes, that's what I meant by "very distant circles". I'm so sorry, I can't explain well.
And now, back to the point. I know that it upset people because it makes it easier for distant circles but like I said, with a touchscreen, you're giving yourself the advantage to click distant circles but you're also sacrificing the ability to be fast. Spinners are very annoying when you are on touchscreen. The screen is very sticky and it slows you down.
To make it short, touchscreen let you jump from a circle to another circle but slows you down when you want to spin the spinner.
