Hello! my queue...
(key: 1-2-3-4)
Diff: Cruel
00:07:721 (7721|0) - this note place it in the key 2 No
00:07:881 (7881|1) - this note place it in the key 1 No
00:08:041 (8041|2) - also in the key 1 No
(this is better as a piano) The Piano rises in pitch, and so the notes rise with it.
00:08:360 - add note in key 3 That sound is incredibly faint, and blends in with the reverb so much that you can JUST barely hear it when playing at 100% speed.
00:11:631 (11631|1) - move in the Key 4 No
00:11:711 (11711|3) - move in the Key 2 No. I want a scattered pattern.
00:14:743 (14743|0) - move in the Key 4 No
00:15:528 - add note in key 2 No
00:15:824 - add note in key 2 No for these two because I'm not following that sound.
00:17:296 (17296|1,17376|2,17456|1,17535|2) - I think it should move more to the right :s I think this pattern is fine. The LRLRLRLR suits that sound.
00:17:775 (17775|0,17854|3) - and he left ^
00:18:591 - add note? Not following that sound
00:19:876 - add note? ^
00:43:466 (43466|3) - key 2 and 3 Nah
01:16:630 - Hold in key 1 The SV displays this just fine.
01:51:285 (111285|2,111445|0,111604|3,111764|1,111924|2) - I think it's best piano sound :s The harder diffs follow the percussion as it's more complicated.
02:18:280 (138280|0) - the timing is in bad position ?? Seems fine to me
02:42:110 - add note in key 4 (hold9 Not needed
02:48:417 - add note in key 4 What? No.
02:53:663 - add note key 4 ^
03:38:120 - hold? The SV displays this well enough.
if my mod is not good practice no matter follow in my queue ^^
Thank you for your mod! I love in-depth mods like this. And even though I've previously sent a PM about it: Thanks a lot for the stars ^^Protastic101 wrote:
Hello~ From my queue (sorry for the long delay).
Column 1|2|3|4GeneralI might reduce the HP of Abrax's Innocuous to 6.5. Agreed.
I would recommend reducing HP of Harsh to 7.5 - 7.7. 8 just seems a little bit mean to me. Changed.
I would up the HP of Cruel to 8 (it's lower than Harsh, was that intentional?). Also maybe jack up the OD to 7.7 or so. Lol I have no idea how that happened. Swapped.
Maybe OD 8.5 for Grotesque. It's a 5*+ difficulty, so it'll prove a real challenge. Yeah okay.
I might get a second opinion on the new HP/OD values just in case. Hopefully it's all okay \o/Cruel03:09:158 (189158|2,189158|3,189237|1,189237|0) - I think you should accent these with three notes instead of two (or you can rearrange their placement, like 14-23 kind of thing). I see exactly what you mean, but the execution is the problem. I'm trying to avoid any jacks in this difficulty, as they'lll be introduced in the Brutal difficulty, and each of the 6 sounds in that pattern are strong enough to warrant 2 notes, so that leaves me with just this one option. The other option I can try is to just remove 03:09:158 (189158|3,189237|0) - to represent the more muted sound, and also making the pattern ore interesting. What do you (and anyone else reading these responses) think of this?
01:33:147 (93147|1) - This kind of goes for all difficulties, but I think you should move the notes like this (01:34:424 (94424|2,95700|2,96977|2,98253|1) to be exact) to 01:33:253, or where the next set of LN's starts, because that's where the piano note is hit. Hopefully I'm misinterpreting your suggestion but... The section follows the pattern, 'chord, leaning note - chord, leaning note - chord, etc.' I use one note to represent the leaning note (as it's not as significant as the chords), and two LN's to signify the chord and the higher note, as they ring out more (I mean, I could use 3 LN's to better represent it, but that takes up too much room).Grotesque02:03:892 (123892|0,123892|1) - by the sound of it, I think you should turn these into short notes, and then start the LN at 02:04:104 and end at the same place. I'm not sure how well this plays though. I think I see where you're coming from. To me, the low kick and the distorted noise are one in the same. The kick fades out a little, dips, and then comes right back up as a strong distorted noise, so I represented this through using one 2 LN for the full length, and the SV to show the 'dip'. Idk, I think with the SV this is fine as it is. If it had no SV to show the sound then I'd might have changed it.
02:12:216 (132216|3,132243|2) - I believe these are actually 1/8 notes. There are 3 notes in 1/4 of a beat, so move up to 02:12:229 and 02:12:269 respectively. Nice catch! Fixed in this diff and every other diff. Now I'm wondering if the next two are mapped properly, especially the 3rd one. The sound for the 3rd one goes longer, but mapping it all would be a little overkill (especially in the high diffs), so it's sensible to keep it that short, but I don't know. I'll ask around and see if people see it as a problem.
02:32:083 - Add another note here for consistency with the rest of the measure? But where? To avoid a 3-in-a-row jack, I'd have to put it in column 1, and that plays a little weird :S For now I'll consider it a crescendo to the large sound after.
No kudosu if I wasn't helpful.
Really great map. Not all that much I could find that needed changing. Cruel and Grotesque was basically it. I enjoyed playing itHave 2 stars *pew pew*
