00:45:091 - Add a d here. This is a rather large gap, it feels rather empty here. You don't need such a large space even though this is a Kantan.
00:50:840 (55) - Change to d. The trumpet has a higher pitch here than at 00:50:121 (54) -
01:19:223 (90) - Move to 01:17:786 - It's best to start on the trumpet, rather than the background drum. Because the trumpet is the main melody of the song. And moving this d, provides a nice break for the upcoming D.

00:11:319 (17,18,19) - Change to kkk. As I said above, you've been using k's for your drum/snare sounds. It sounds bland if you switch to ddd. (Despite having a K right after them.) But overall, I believe kkk sounds better here.

Too much finish notes / i understand why you may feel that way, but the reason i use so many is to emphasize the feel and melody of the song. imo, it's supposed to be and sound intense, especially since most of the main notes have heavy kicks or high hats on them to support this. so imo, there isn't a problem with it. i will recheck the lower difficulties however.

/ oh my god, ok so there's actually a story for this. i picked the background after i finished mapping (i usually do so its easier for me to see), and put it on the map, and i was like, "nice! looks great!" until i actually playtested it again. then i realized, "oh shit, oh my god, it moves the picture down so all you can see are her tits. that the artist drew quite... large." i actually tried to crop it differently in photoshop to fix this, but its impossible. so, instead, just pretend her hand is gesturing to the scroll bar and holding the bar up.

Fix volume of that first timing line on KFMO

Use 75% volume like the other diffs
  1. 00:05:211 - add d
  2. 00:07:187 - add d
  3. 00:08:624 (24,25,26,27) - the triple should be starting from the red tick 00:08:624 - actually. compare it to some similar parts 00:05:750 (13,14,15,16) - so i think theres a mistake here.
  4. 00:09:163 (28) - should use a finish here as well since you have been using it for all the downbeats so far
  5. 00:16:888 (74,75) - i suggest changing one of them to k. i think it would make this section sound better and be more interesting to play, which one to change uh they both actually work pretty well imo so up to you!
  6. 00:28:385 (148,149) - ^
  7. 00:40:151 (211) - delete because while overmapping a little on inner oni is ok, here it doesnt make much sense to me to have a 9-plet on the calm section while the rest of the map's intense parts only use 7

Idk, technically its not bad... but for an oni i feel like its a pretty awkward diff due to lack of variety during most sections like 00:12:038 - (it doesn't help that 00:12:397 (50,51,52,53,54,55,56,57) - is so similar to 00:13:834 (59,60,61,62,63,64,65) - )

Idk, technically its not bad... but for an oni i feel like its a pretty awkward diff due to lack of variety during most sections like 00:12:038 - (it doesn't help that 00:12:397 (50,51,52,53,54,55,56,57) - is so similar to 00:13:834 (59,60,61,62,63,64,65) - )
Yet at the same time too much variety during parts that shouldn't have it like 00:22:996 (115,116,117,118,119,120,121) - 00:16:708 (76,77,78,79,80,81,82,83,84) - etc. / i definitely agree, so i took some time to go over it and sort of remap the patterns so they arent so repetitive. hopefully its not as bad now :o

    / thats cause muzukashii and oni are mapped more the actual percussion, while doing so in kantan and futsuu is just very awkward. also, a lot of the percussion is made of triplets that i cant use that much in muzu, so it ends up rather simplified...

  • have a strange rhythm but is ... good? / yeah, like i said, the percussion has to be rather simplified, however, the songs actual percussion is actually somewhat... quiet? my intention while mapping to the percussion was to really bring it out more and make the beat more intense. but since its simplified, it sort comes off as "improv mapping," but i dont really think thats a bad thing. imo, the rhythm used is perfectly fine

    00:10:600 - Need a triple here ... / in this part of the song, its still sort of building up. im mapping to the drums and trying to make it come out more, and the high-hat-like-snares are coming in, which falls on the beat the piano starts on. also, using a triple instead of going the full 5 1/4 notes just sounds kinda strange to me here. but if someone else thinks it needs a triple, ill consider

It would be nice if you could use a background image with 1366x768 resolution. The current one is rankable of course but why not use the maximum allowed size for optimal quality on widescreen resolutions ;)
The preview point in the Futsuu is off by a couple of milliseconds, please put it on 00:35:032 like you used in the other diffs.
You are still overusing finishers a bit imo. Look at your finishers and ask yourself - does the sound I mapped these on really require a finisher?

You are still overusing finishers a bit imo. Look at your finishers and ask yourself - does the sound I mapped these on really require a finisher? / as i said before, no, i am really not. i have only added them where i feel emphasis is necessary, and for the very last kiai so it feels like the "final rush," as well as putting emphasis on every loud and held out grace note. theres also snare/cymbals on every grace trumpet note, and the song itself, is intense. and i can bet anyone 10 dollars if i took most of them out, someone else who would mod the map would say "add a finisher here." additionally, there are other maps with way more finishers where its not as "in your face," so i really do not see the problem. also, they do not interfere with actual gameplay and i dont use them in any place that would be considered "difficult" (in the middle of a pattern, too quickly, ect).

tl;dr, asked myself if i where i mapped the finishers really required a finisher, the answer was yes.

i will say, however, that i did have some consistency issues that im stilll addressing, as in forgetting to place a finisher where i placed one before/accidentally forgetting to remove a finisher that i meant to remove.

thank you very much for your mod! but, in all honesty...

no offense, but i really feel you didn't take my thought process into account, as in you didnt even try to understand what the mapper was doing/intending to do, especially with patterns/consistency/ect., what the mapper was actually mapping to, which is really important when modding. it really felt like you were just trying to remap most of my maps, and you gave ZERO reasoning for pretty much ALL of your suggestions. maybe one of the ones i rejected couldve been good, but you didnt explain to me why i should accept it or anything.

in the future, you should really try and figure out/think about what the mapper was/is doing, what its actually being mapped to, and actually give reasoning for your suggestions, especially when you give so many that are just completely baseless. sorry for sounding mean and ungrateful, it just really frustrated me.

anyway, sorry for the very late response, you two! thank you for your mods!!

I usually don't reply to mod answer but thought it was neccessary here: Yes, sry I could certainly have added more explanations but I tend to do that mainly where I think it really is needed, not on more (to me at least) obvious points. As you are new to Taiko mapping I should have probably done so. I apologize.
The main issue I had with your map was that many parts are simply mapped against the melody/pitch. While they might follow the drums, where kicks, snares and high hats are it felt really off in many places to me. While I tried to understand the reasoning behind why you placed them like they are in most cases I simply couldn't. Many of my later suggestion then were simply repetitions of previous ones due to song and difficulty repetition to stay consistent, hence the lack of explanations as they should be self explanatory.
There are some cases of a modder and mapper simply not fitting to each other due to wildly different mapping styles and expectations from a map. Seeing how I am devoted to melody mapping and you seem to be fond of mapping the drums that might be true here. I usually try not to mod maps that are entirely drum mapped but here I felt my suggestions would actually improve upon what you already had built, making the whole thing flow better and more interesting/pleasing to play. But well, seems like you didn't agree at all with me but that's very much your right as the mapper. I wish you the best of luck with your map in the future.

I disagree with changing the finishers in the map. If I were to change one part to a stream, instead of finishers, I would have to change all of the other finishers as well. Because that would be changing what I was mapping to. I don't like to be inconsistent when mapping and go from melody to drums/kicks and then back. (But I understand when some songs kind of force that. ;; ) But in the future, I will see what other people say about this. (I know they have mentioned the use of the finishers to kogasa, but I feel that my difficulty should at least somewhat match the rhythm that he was mapping to, and he wants to keep those finishers in. And I will do the same.)
