Hey Hinsvar, thanks for opinion!Hinsvar wrote:
Also, for Irre's diff, you're free to use any CS you want, sure, and I don't want to ruin how you map, but CS7 combined with how you place the objects that are 1/4 beats apart from each other, and additionally, how jumpy the map can get in general, isn't really a good choice (and with OD8.5 too). The combination of CS7 and the jumps also make quite the difficulty jump from baraatje's Extra diff. I would personally use CS6-6.5 here so it won't be that extreme for players (although I believe there are people who love CS7 too). But if you think CS7 is fine, sure, I won't mind.
I can see your points, yet I will keep CS7 because in my opinion the targetplayers are the ones who enjoy CS7 (I do it myself, I see it as challenge and it helps me improving my aim, too). As you might have seen, my maps have never gone that "wild" (with the CS7 spacing), so I wanted to create one, where you can train this too. Please also see the point that I don't actually put gimmicks in these maps: Speaking of 1/4, I've put solely jumps from sliders > circles (or sliders) and never from circle > circle (or slider) (http://puu.sh/iVnmN/be4a057f78.jpg see this as example). And if you don't use these patterns, it's still fairly easy to play, because the flow is not broken, nor the movement is.
Baraatje, I've mapped some CS5 <_<
