Introducing a good way to mod for new modder is hard, because we can see in plain sight that taiko is just about don and kat, but they actually not. Just admit it guys, we all started like that. (at least for me it was. lols)
I think that the ranking criteria doesn't get to everyone, ex : difficulty spread (both hybrid and fullset, which is new to modder but some modder just brush it off and start modding general thing as kat and don here and there)
Last time i mod a bubbled map, s/he rejects almost of what i said, only accepting one mod from me, although my ear is not deceiving me alright. And i can't do a thing about that /sad/
I really wanted to say that somewhere..
I guess what makes we (at least, me) lazy to mod things is that the mapper :
1. "I don't care, what i map is right." impression from the mapper (Although the spread is kinda screwed up)
2. Yeah ok *applies all mod* then change them back when another modder suggest the same thing as before. Feels like our work is good-for-awhile-only
3. "Not changed" "keep it for now" replies actually lower my modding ambition (wrote a long reason, then changed it with two-three words. blah)
Probably what the best solution is recruiting BN (if it's really necessary), but again, like MMzz said recruiting means forcing and forcing doesn't always mean they want to do the job properly.
Welp, i'm just writing what's on my mind right now. I know my wording is bad. Sorry for that. >_>
Don't we need a new thread to discuss this, instead of this thread which says 'List'?
