[SEASON 0] Taiko Detarame Dojo [Sightreading Skill Match]

  1. Taiko Detarame Dojo is a discord server where players can play in skill matches using randomized beatmaps.
  2. Every matches are managed by a discord bot taiko_dojo, and players can join matches at any time by using commands.
  3. Randomized beatmaps will be generated by using a console application called Beatmap Detarame Converter which can be downloaded in the discord server.
  4. The player's rating fluctuates based on the rank of each beatmap, and dan-i will be awarded based on the highest rate reached.

  2. 試合の進行はtaiko_dojoというbotが行い, プレイヤーはコマンドを入力することで任意のタイミングで試合に参加することが出来ます。
  3. 譜面の変換ではDiscord Server内からダウンロードできるBeatmap Detarame Converterというコンソールアプリを使用します。
  4. それぞれの譜面における勝敗に基づいてプレイヤーのレーティングが変動し, 最高到達レートに基づいて段位が付与されます。

  1. Join Discord server.
  2. Visit #register channel in the WELCOME category.
  3. Type following command there, and react with emoji to confirm. (Requires 6,000pp to join)
    !register [userpage]
  4. detarame_dojo will give you a role Detarame Dojo and post an embedmessage.

  3. 以下のコマンドを入力し, Emojiで内容を確認します。(参加には6,000ppが必要です)
    !register [userpage]
  4. detarame_dojoによって, Detarame Dojoのロールが付与され, 参加を表すメッセージが表示されます。

  1. Visit #detarame-converter channel in the INFORMATION category, and download the latest version.
  2. Unzip the downloaded file, and open "DetarameConverter.cfg" file in a text editor.
  3. Set BeatmapDirectory to the path of your songs directory. This is an example:
    BeatmapDirectory=O:\osu!\Songs
    ConvertedBeatmapTag=?converted
    Language=EN
  4. Run "Beatmap Detarame Converter.exe" and confirm it successfully loaded the config file.

  4. "Beatmap Detarame Converter.exeを実行し, configファイルが読み込まれたことを確認してください。

Each tier has a mappool of different difficulty range. You can choose a tier you want to play in.

  1. Tier-C: Common Expert Level (~5*)
  2. Tier-B: Advanced Expert Level (~6*)
  3. Tier-A: Challenging Level (~6.5*)
  4. Tier-S: More Challenging Level (~7*)
Play as a non-host player
  1. Type !j (!join) in the discord channel, then join the multiplayer room.
  2. When the voting is started, vote for beatmaps you want to play. You can vote for multiple maps.

  3. taiko_dojo will select a beatmap to play depending on random numbers based on the percentages of votes.
  4. Copy the convert command text starting from !cs, then run the command in the beatmap detarame converter.

  5. After playing the song, run !r (!result) to load the result.

  6. When you want to leave the match, run !l (!leave).
    However, if the command was sent after the end of the voting, you need to play the next song before leaving.

Play as a host player
※ It is recommended to play as a non-host player if you are new to the server.

  1. Run !o (!open) command in the channel.
  2. Follow the steps the taiko_dojo explains.

  3. When a voting is ended, select the converted beatmap to play.
  4. Start the song when everyone is ready. Run !r command after each song played.
  5. Before you leave the room, transfer host to another player.

Dan-i will be awarded based on your highest rating.

  1. 初段 (1st Dan): < 20 plays
  2. 二段 (2nd Dan): 1000
  3. 三段 (3rd Dan): 2000
  4. 四段 (4th Dan): 3000
  5. 五段 (5th Dan): 4000
  6. 六段 (6th Dan): 5000
  7. 七段 (7th Dan): 6000
  8. 八段 (8th Dan): 7000
  9. 九段 (9th Dan): 8000
  10. 十段 (10th Dan): 9000

  1. Please report in #report channel if you find any problems.
  2. Players' rating will be reset when pp system is updated.
  3. This project is still in development. Many bugs may happen.
  4. I'm planning to organize a tournament using randomized beatmaps.

Rate Calculation




This calculates how probable you would win/lose against each player individually, and totals them, then adjusts the value by number of opponents. If the rating difference between yours and opponent_i's is more than 6,000, the probability is set to 0 or 1. If two players with the same rate in a match, the rate_change will be 32.



Similar to Elo Rating, the calculation considers difference between your rate and opponent's rate. In 2 players match, if you and opponent have same rate, gain/loss will be 32. The value changes linearly with the rate difference, but if rate difference exceeds 6000, the value will be 1.0.



This is how n_players_adjustment works. If all players have same rate, #1 of 3 players gains 52.4, while #1 of 16 players gains 116.8.

System is cool, but the 6k pp requirement locking a lot of people out. Maybe there could be a ranking system for people under 6k pp, and once they get above that mark they get sent to the next ranking set of dans. Like Tekken Kyu and Dan System
