This was a huge help, thanks a lot! I'll make a start on my side of the m4m tonight, but I might not finish until tomorrow (Y)-Lemons wrote:
Oh man this has been modded a lot. It's the first map I actually submitted so it's evolved a bit with time (:
For your queueEasy[General]
I'm not a big fan of all the overlapping on the notes since this is an easy, but that's just me. Plus if you made them all separated it would probably up the stars by like .30, so that's really up to you how you wanna do it. I just think it looks cleaner if they're all separate It's a valid point, but because the combination of low DS (for Easy) and a relatively high BPM, this was inevitable. I feel the overlaps are marginal and shouldn't have an adverse effect on gameplay though. Plus, as you say, increasing DS would hit the star diff pretty hard and ruin the spread, so I'll keep this as it is for now

00:13:251 (4) - Maybe make this slider rounder, It's fine how it is now but I like really roundy sliders is all I think this is fine, if I add more curve, I'll need to bring 00:15:106 (5,1,2) closer which will ruin the flow imo
01:50:964 (3) - ^ Don't really have the room to add more curve here as I want to avoid getting too close to the edge of the playfield
01:53:438 (5) - I'd do something crazy with this slider, make it have some kinks in it or something similar to 01:50:964 (3) - since it is the part right before a break It is a little plain I guess, so I'll jazz it up some :^)
I didn't notice any other issues, really well polished stuff Thanks (:Normal[General]
I don't even need a general tab for this one but lolformating
[Modding Stuff]
00:13:869 (3,4) - I think there should be a single note on the red tick when he's saying the 'na' in vietnamese, but it's up to you as it's fine how it is now Whilst I agree with your reasoning and actually quite like this idea myself, I'll keep it how it is. I'm already getting enough (in my opinion, unwarranted) criticism for the 1/2 sliders/spacing I already have lol
00:37:374 (4) - Could make this into a blanketing slider with the hump on this slider Nice idea, hadn't thought of this
00:45:416 (1) - Looks better as http://puu.sh/h9R06/d3f064576a.jpg imo I reduced the kink a little bit, but not as much as you suggested as I want to keep a noticeable change of direction to correspond to the drum beat
00:50:209 (1) - Move this to say x:145 y:77, just to keep it from looking cramped up there But this breaks DS... I think it's fine where it is for now since I put a NC on it
01:04:900 (2,1) - I think there should be something inbetween these, like a single note on the white tick Sure there as a note here before... Fixed lolHard[General]
There are a lot of pauses in the rhythm, some of them didn't make sense to me but they might to you so I'll try to point out the ones that made no sense to me.
[Modding Stuff]
00:04:591 (3) - Would look better if it mimics 00:03:663 (1) - This is intentional, since the first "Yeah" is a short sound, whilst the second is a longer sound, but since no-one seems to see this, I guess I have no choice but to change it >.<
00:08:921 (2,3) - The spacing between these two needs to be less I think, at first glance it looks like the same spacing as 1 to 2 which would prompt me to wait the same time beat wise as 1 to 2, like the way you have it at 02:03:955 (4,5,6) - is perfect. Okay, copy/pasted that DS here too
00:27:323 (6,7) - This is one of the pauses that I was talking about, I think that even if you're mapping the vocals having a note on the implied beat makes for cleaner play Made 00:27:323 (6) into a 1/2 slider since 00:27:477 is a weaker beat
01:57:768 (5,6,7) - I think these should be maybe further into grid 4, or higher or something, It just feels like this part focuses too much on the left side so these could be over on the right side Looking at all the notes in this quiet section selected, the left is quite densely populated, so I'll agree to this
02:14:470 (1) - I think you could make a jump with this note, it would keep it from looking cramped up on that particular note too, move it to like x:39 y:108 It's emphasised with a finish and it does look a little cramped as it is, so sure
02:33:025 (4) - This slider is cute and I just wanted to tell you that I've not heard that before! xD - I just hope the level of wiggle is rankable (:InsaneHope this helps[General]
You can be mean with your jumps if you want to! it's an insane
[Modding Stuff]
00:04:900 (3) - Move to x:43 y:40 to straighten the jump out Do you mean x:40 y:43? (2,3) are both x:40 so moving (3) to x:43 makes no sense for a vertical flow here
00:17:271 (2) - Have this slider end stack on the same point as 00:18:044 (4) - Rotated 7 degrees anticlockwise (:
00:28:096 (1) - Blanket with this slider Looks good
00:48:199 (3) - You could probably blanket this slider with the ending approach circle from 00:47:890 (2) - like this http://puu.sh/h9SvF/093584cb7f.jpg Whilst this does look good, I'd have to drop the DS here to do as you suggested, and I don't think the anti-jump is appropriate here. I'd prefer to keep this as a more spaced blanket - Incidentally, this blanket was a little off anyway, so thanks for making this point so I could spot and fix it myself (Y)
00:49:745 (2,3,4,5) - You can space these out more so they match the ones at the very beginning (http://puu.sh/h9SWc/c6e536c167.jpg should kinda explain) Didn't realise the spacing was even different here as I thought I'd copied this pattern anyway. Fixed
01:01:498 (1) - Have this not touch the previous slider Sure, a bit of jump couldn't hurt here anyway
01:01:962 (2) - ^ (you can technically make this into a bigger jump because the slider leniency circle makes this easy to do) Did this with the above
01:02:735 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Take this whole combo over to x:353 y:73 so it doesn't touch any of the other parts Done
01:54:676 (3) - x:319 y:137 to straighten things out Essentially done, although [x-320,y-136] looks a tiny bit straighter to me
01:57:769 (2) - Move this so it's stacked with 01:58:696 (4) - Sure
02:08:902 (1,2,3,4,5) - You can space this more Hope 1.5x isn't too evil >:)
