  4. Sorry that I think this insane needs to be improved. Once you choosed symmetrical style, please use it in your whole map, current patterns seem a bit messy. Is this is meant to be a pun? jk ^^ I personally think the Insane is one of the better diffs due to some of the great feedback I've got from other modders, but I'll still go through it and see if I can make any improvements - different people like different things after all
    Drop some good symmetrical-style map here, hope you can learn from them.

The alternatives either felt repetitive, or just didn't emphasise the strong beats in the way that I'd like, so I'll keep them as they are for now.

a bit odd. As 00:02:426 (3,1,2,3,4) and 00:04:900 (3,1,2,3,4) flows clockwise.

00:08:070 (4) - This doesn't really sound good, I suggest removing it.

00:12:014 (5) - Slider shape breaks the flow here, it plays very weird.

00:18:740 - You missed a beat here.

00:18:972 - The drum beat here is strong so you shouldn’t use a slider. Use a circle to emphasise the beat. (I see that you have quite a lot of problem with this, I’ll point out the ones I really think you should change.)
For the two above, maybe you can try something like this.

You don’t have to make it like this, just a suggestion.

00:18:818 (3) - There's a strong drum beat at the end of this slider, you should change this into a circle instead to emphasise it.

00:22:220 (7) - Again, you can hear the drum at the end of this slider. I suggest changing it to a circle on 00:22:220 and a 1/1 slider on 00:22:374 (following vocals). If you just want to map the drums, use circles.

00:22:684 (8) - Similar issue here. Would be better if you changed slider head to a circle and slider tail to a 1/2 slider.

00:23:148 (2) - Instead of making this into a reverse slider, try using a slider then a circle. Also, add a clap where the slider ends.

00:23:611 (3) - ^ You can make this very interesting and fun to play if you change up the placement.

00:24:230 (5,6) - I would map this part more, you can do many different things with this part by following the drums.

00:28:096 (1,2) - ^ Especially since it builds up to the chorus.

00:29:642 (1,2,3) - You can play around with the placement a bit more here.. seems a little boring

00:30:261 (3) - Better as circles instead.

00:29:642 (1,2,3) - I think it’ll be really cool if you add a clap to both head and tail of these sliders.

00:30:570 (4) - Use 1.5/6x DS. The song allows you to place a larger jump.

I have a suggestion for a different hit sounding pattern to the chorus part of the song. Take this with a grain of salt though. I honestly don’t know anything about hit sounding, this is just what sounds good to me.

00:31:807 (4) - Remove clap at beginning and add at the end instead.

Sorry, this just sounds really awkward to me. For following the drums, (3) is a weak kick beat, so clap is unjustified, and even though it's on the downbeat, neither the head or tail of (4) are particularly prominent compared to the current snare sounds (which already have claps) at 00:31:189 and 00:32:426 so I'll keep my current pattern

00:27:323 (6,7) - This is one of the pauses that I was talking about, I think that even if you're mapping the vocals having a note on the implied beat makes for cleaner play
01:57:768 (5,6,7) - I think these should be maybe further into grid 4, or higher or something, It just feels like this part focuses too much on the left side so these could be over on the right side

I just think it looks cleaner if they're all separate It's a valid point, but because the combination of low DS (for Easy) and a relatively high BPM, this was inevitable. I feel the overlaps are marginal and shouldn't have an adverse effect on gameplay though. Plus, as you say, increasing DS would hit the star diff pretty hard and ruin the spread, so I'll keep this as it is for now

If there's a place you feel like you need to add a circle, then do it~ I understand and actually agree with all of your suggestions based purely on the pattern, but I feel these kinds of pattern would better suit an Advanced diff than a regular Normal (although this Normal is already 2.25 stars, so really can't make it any harder lol). Due to the relatively high BPM in this song, a lot of short, awkward overlaps are created which can get pretty confusing (at least to me)
    Also, I add circle to emphasize the next sound. Add circle before a finish to emphasize it. If i forgot to add something from above then you can add it~
