Skyrim is a proper role playing game, it's an open world where you are free to do whatever you want and roleplay however you want. The AI is stupid and you can easily make overpowered characters, this is so casual players can have fun with their god characters. But if you take care not to exploit the game or AI, the combat is very fun and challenging. Try being low level wood elf with just a sword and bow and trying to clear a bandit dungeon on Legendary difficult. The bandit leader can kill you in one to two hits and it takes you 100+ hits to kill him with a steel sword. Takes a bit of footwork.
Also, our opinions on this may differ (it's purely subjective), but as someone who usually likes playing strategy games, I think that the AI should actually get "smarter" (the developers should work a bit more on it, as there is no excuse not to, especially when they're getting showered with money) as you up the difficulty, and not just get retarded bonuses to compensate for its stupidity. Now, it's mildly retarded if the AI can two-shot you, while you have to hit it 250 times with the same bloody bow and same arrows or with the same sword, just because it isn't "intelligent" enough to think of an optimal solution of how to counter you.
That would, of course, raise yet another problem - the combat itself is as flat as a 5 year-old girl's chest. Sure, you can't expect THAT much out of it, but why not? Why not just make it so that you have to think before you engage, just like in chess? It doesn't matter which direction you engage from, or what you hit, or even where you hit or with what you hit... it's just x amount of damage to that guy. Sneaking was supposed to add a layer of combat to actually make it feel more vibrant, but nope, it's also broken as shit. "Oh, someone just hit me in the fucking head with an arrow.... must be my imagination."

I'm not really complaining about that AI in Skyrim (ok, I guess you have a point about this), but it's a traditional straightforward RPG and not a strategy game where you should have to think heavily and plan your engagements. But If you want to play with that element you can play a stealth character where you have to observe your enemies and isolate them to kill them one by one. Or you can play a tank/dps where you can just mash attack and kill everything. Or you can play like me and play a light sword/bow class where you weaken enemies with the bow then finish them off with skilful swordplay. I've played a fair few melee combat games and I think Skyrim's is quite good and satisfying, it has a solid system of blocks, counters, dodges and shield bashes, and every enemy has a different attack patterns that you have to learn to read and counter. The beauty of Skyrim is that you can play it completely however you like.

a year ago i took a walk through the neighbourhood of my old school with an old schoolmate and we came across a playground we used to spend a lot of time at when we were skipping classes so we had a couple of swings on the swing. i was 22 then.

I've been reading about the "old internet" and it seems like a fun place to be (community/interaction wise).
My first internet was quite recent (6 years ago), but I already miss several things. Mainly the lack of ads and hidden software bundled with downloads. And the fact that Facebook was not everywhere like it is now. Social networks were already there, my classmates used some. I remembered being persuaded to make a friendster account on a weekly basis, but it was not as necessary as it is now.
I'm also kind of sad because I was not around when online names were a lot more common and acceptable (at least in this country). I really want to chat with my real life friends and acquaintances using names like piruchan, coconutmilk1234 or something like that without them going "dude, wtf?". I can comfortably do it with around 6 people or so, but most would go batshit insane when I'm not using my real name.

It was actually a perfect day on St Patrick's day.
I was off from work and class was in the morning.
It was 70° outside(after weeks of 40° to 10°), it was just cloudy enough to let some sunshine in but have plenty of shade, and it was pleasantly breezy.
Ended up going outside for once and got a bunch of Magic stuff.
Spent the whole day going through it all and playing games with friends.
I was aiming for Temur but I got Dromoka and Daghatar so yeah Abzan.
It was a very rare day that was seized, throttled, and wrapped up with a bow.
Now this Friday is supposed to be 40° with snow/rain mix.
I'm not sure how that is supposed to work.
Being busy all the time is depressing.
I was off from work and class was in the morning.
It was 70° outside(after weeks of 40° to 10°), it was just cloudy enough to let some sunshine in but have plenty of shade, and it was pleasantly breezy.
