Well, doesn't mean he isn't allowed to bubble / qualify taiko maps.
Theoretically, he could disqualify Taiko as well. But well, MMzz and me took the job of the boo-man(or boogyman? lol).
Now you're one of them muahahaNwolf wrote:
oh yeah, way easier to see who tospamask for mods or general questions about maps :3
Thanks for the list : D
True. Had this concern, too. But I think a bit recognition for people who were a lot active in this game mode isn't bad at all. After all, beside notable people we have nothing else for Taiko guys. And new people should know their predecessor.Loctav wrote:
Why? This is totally unrelated to BNG and QAT stuff and interests no one who looks up that thread...
added you in the alumm list.kanpakyin wrote:
o.o I think I am totally being forgot.
Interesting to see.OnosakiHito wrote:
If certain mappers need revision for the modding, they can ask me for help. We can also go for mentoring. It's not the first time I do so, but I guess first time I annnounce it. lol
But don't forget, I have also much to do in university and as QAT.
Don't have too much hope. It won't be a solution on a long time run.Nwolf wrote:

Encourage modding by organizing queues that are more focused on a quantitative approach first, and then after a good period of grinding modder score/kd to be added to the BN, spend time enforcing qualitative modding. I think your goal should be to get people onto the BN so that more maps can flow into qualified. Once there are more BNs, they can improve their modding quality through the disqualifications they receive and the advice given to them by their peers. Remember, DQs aren't a bad thing, they can be good learning experiences if applied right.OnosakiHito wrote:
I have some ideas what we could possibly do. But before that, maybe some of you could give some ideas as well, as in, how we can make our current state somehow better.
Recruiting more Taiko BNs is the prerequisite of improving the current situation. Once we have got more members, the workload of individual BN would be lighter and we could handle mod requests in a more efficient way. However, I think that those who want to become a Taiko BN should have at least the necessary modding skills (e.g. to give constructive mods with respect to mappers' intention or style), otherwise they may not bring real benefits to the modding process.OnosakiHito wrote:

It's rather the other way: We have more mappers than modders. Modders can't compensate this amount.

More like lacking modders, we lack good modders. I see a considerable ammount of people modding with just "x time - d, y time - K, etc.". Not that that's bad, experienced mappers would analize those suggestions, but new mappers would likely just follow them and sometimes it's not for the best of the map.
The only factible "solution" would be mentoring the novice modders so they can improve faster, we get nice taiko modders and potential BNs for the future, resulting in the community growing, maybe not as fast as you could desire, but better than being stagnated.
