Hard and Harder are almost the same level of diffculty..and IMO Hard is harder than Harder because of a lot of hidden notes..

Try to make your map rhythmic (follow vocal is also ok but creating a nice rhythm is
better) and...remember don't make a map like a metronome more.

The song is cut pretty uglish. If you have the original mp3, you can cut it later to make it not sound so bad when it ends. I could do this for you but I don't have the mp3 required.

Question: Before I make Normal, would it be possible for you to make Easy easier? (Yes, this would require you to remap...)

Your Easy is a bit more like a Normal, due to the:
- Frequency of Beats
- Slider Velocity
- Overall Difficulty (reduce it by 1, btw)

Just to name a few, sorry to do this to you :(

The video still has audio, please remove the audio off the vid.
As I complained about before, please get the full video.
Is it just me, or is the mp3 very soft in volume.

Easy:
Make this diff have the same preview times as your other 2 finished diffs
Also, resnap the notes at the end of the diff.
Combo mod:
01:18:094 (1) - personally I would remove the new combo and add a new combo to 2 to be consistent with 01:04:180 (1), but that would make a very short 2 note combo. As a result, I recommend splitting the long slider into multiple notes because long sliders are boring and this would accommodate your combos better

Timing section mod:
00:51:453 - unneeded timing section, please remove
00:55:522 - ^ (also there are new timing section here, so even if you make one of them a unique timing section, please delete the other
00:55:773 - unneeded timing section, please remove
01:09:679 - ^

Hard:
Kiai timing sections should be the same in every nonguest diff unless you have a reason to put your kiai timing in a different location
Normal mod:
00:18:100 (4,1) - Why is there a jump here. It feels sort of random to me.
00:24:100 (10,1) - ^ (wondering because a lot of your other combos do not have jumps, so this seems strange)

Combo mod:
You seem to inconsistent with your combos in this diff. For example, compare 00:10:420 (5,1) and 00:14:500 (5). Please make sure the combos throught your diff are consistent.

Timing section mod:
00:56:976 - unneeded timing section, please remove

Harder: (As people said before, change the name of this diff to insane since harder is a very strange difficulty name)
Combo mod:
00:57:940 (1) - remove new combo to be consistent with 01:01:780 (3)

Just two things:

1)Bad mp3 cut, really needs to be changed to a better cut/fade or maybe use the full version?
2)Medium beat size is too massive for medium, could do with being reduced a little

Only problems I found are...

[All Difficulties]
I recommend making all the difficulties end at the same place, it's kinda weird how ALL of them end at DIFFERENT places.
I like where [Easy] and [Hard] end, so you can make the others consistent to either of these, your choice.

[CrimmiSkye]
The timing is waaay different than the other maps, there are two sections and a .03 added.
To ask for my opinion, I think the BPM/OFFSET in the other maps are better than this.
Even further, I got an offset of 1290, but you can wait to switch on the offset, I'm not good at timing and it might just be my Universal Offset.

[Hard]
There are some odd combo changes here, I'm not good at New Combos, but the combos here are not very consistent, it's alright though, I guess.

*The quality of the mp3 is kinda shoddy; I recommend getting a better one. The video's audio track has better quality than this. :/ (The way it ends abruptly at the end is horrid, anyway)
*The video filetype .wmv cannot be used in osu!. Please remove it or find a different one. Also, a video should have it's audio track cut out.
*comboburst.png is too large. The max width allowed is 500px. Please resize it.
*kiai is inconsistent across all difficulties. It should start/end at the same places in each diff.

*Offset doesn't match the other diffs.

The mapping of this set is fine, but those other problems really need to be addressed. I see that many others have mentioned audio/video problems, but they still don't seem to be fixed. :/

00:11:380 (3,4,5,6) - I dislike these reverse stacks... they're so bleh.

I see no improvement in the quality of the mp3. This is not a small issue; please find a better mp3.

Also, the video is unacceptable. It's too large (1280px wide), not to mention that it's a kinda-crappy widescreen version. Please find a better video in addition to an mp3.

Overall a well mapped song ^^

MP3 Cut is horrible, but a quick search on my own doesn't show better cuts either...

00:44:260 (1) - Perhaps reshape this slider so that it doesn't create an unintuitive jump in spacing?
01:17:140 (2,3) - Perhaps center these to make a nicer triangle

Everything seems fine except spacing seems a little inconsistent at times? Not a big deal cause it's not very noticeable.

Ehh feels too much like a metronome per half beat.

The new video is much better, but the new mp3 sounds barely (if at all) better than the last one. I've searched for about 15 minutes on google and can't find a better quality mp3, so I can't really help anymore from here. I guess for now just put the old mp3 back so that the timing isn't completely screwed up.

I'm terribly sorry that I couldn't help. x_x (I'm sure that someone else will be able to help, though)

Also, I noticed that you have a spinner-circle in the folder, but spinner-metre and spinner-background are missing. Please add those and full submit.

hmmm.. Fix all related to new mp3 and video (offset, video offset, timing sections offset, resnap notes...)
Set custom circle colors.

The spinner: 01:07:320 (1) on [Easy] is still awkward, doesnt seem to be following something that leads me to think a spinner is necessary, try instead putting some notes in this section.

Make sure the offset didn't change, modyfying mp3s sometimes causes that.



By the way, Easy has a lot of ugly sliders (not perfectly horizontal/vertical, for example 00:44:040 (1). Fix them all please D:). I didn't look at other diffs.

The mp3 ends so suddenly. Can't you edit it by adding the fade effect or find better mp3?

00:16:680 (1,2) - Inconsistent spacing. Please space it it with 0,7x Distance Spacing value.
00:52:200 (2) - Sounds far better placed the repeat at [00:53:160] and the end of the slider at [00:54:120].

[Crimmi]

[00:34:440] - [00:39:720] - Strange spacing change. I prefer spacing it with 0,9x Distance Spacing, like previous notes (or space previous notes with 1,1x spacing). The same thing here: [01:25:800].

[Hard]

01:27:480 (3) - The end of this slider sounds weird (considering the sudden, not faded end of the mp3 too). Please expand it to the next white tick (01:28:680).

[Insane]

- The mp3 you have ends really suddenly, and it sounds ugly, could you fade it?
- Delete the .osb file and do a Full Submit next time you update the map.
- I recommend to add "fma" to tags, I think people would rather write "fma" than "full metal alchemist" xP

- Decrease Overall Difficulty, please.
- The slider speed is IMO a bit faster...

Had a little of IRC modding. Basically I had one of the combo colors changed to something that didn't blend in with the BG.

I wouldn't say that's true, it's if there aren't enough [I]> diffs to balance it out...

eg. [E][N][I][I] would be rankable, but not [E][H][I][I]

...just keep that in mind ;)

What a strange hitsound placement... but it is okay considering Easy's beat placement. XD

00:47:880 (1) - I can kinda see what you are doing with Easy (easiest way of mapping easy is to map beat by beat...)... but this slider simply doesn't fit. I think it has to be mapped to the singing... so, move this slider 1/2 forward, repeat one less and then map an additional beat 00:49:320
01:06:120 (3) - Funny slider XD

[Normal]

Technically, nothing wrong... but I find the beat placement a little repetitive (especially for the verse), which, I supposed, is an expected thing considering the nature of the song. Or maybe it is just because I know I wouldn't have mapped the song like that. XD XD

[Hard]

... I think I still find the hitsounds designed haphazardly. Like, why are there so many strange whistles? :(
This song is suitable for whistles, but I think that is too many whistles in one go. XD

00:04:920 (4,1,2,3,4,5) - Considering how many beats you have later on in the song, I really won't used that many beats just for the opening sequence. It sets up for repetitiveness to the player (e.g what, this again?).
01:27:480 (3) - Don't really agree with the slowdown slider either. :/

[Insane]

For the intro of the song, same thing as hard. You are using the same mapping techniques for two very different part of the songs.
Same problems with hitsounds, too many whistles in strange places, I think. XD XD
Also, still don't find myself agreeing with the final slowdown slider. :P

Strange spinner circle... can't you find something that covers the entire circle?

ztrot's Link has a completely mapped spinner circle (a good one, unlike the one from my skin, hahaha), so maybe you can ask for his permission to use it? In addition to that, why don't you skin the slider ball as well? You already got a slider follow circle for it.

Anyway, as your first map, it's good. But you can definitely do a lot of improvement. Right now, your mapping style seems to be consisting of mapping every single possible beat in the song (1/2 beats in hard, full beats in easy). Throw some variation in the mix. There is a lot of things going on in this song, but you don't necessarily have to map every single thing. If you want to figure out something "nice" from this song, KIA's difficulty is a nice way to learn a few things from (hitsound patterns, variations, streams, non-linear design, etc.). Don't feel discouraged though! If you have any questions regarding my mod, you are always free to ask me any questions online and I'd be happy to try to explain and help you through my critique. XD

Oh yeah, in regards to the difficulty spread... I personally don't really mind since there IS a normal... but that normal could definitely be toned down if possible.

Skin issues... remove the cursor, though the main issue is you forgot to include the skin.ini, so the pointer is spinner around unnaturally, hahahahaha.
I know I made the skin, but the cursor plays lousy and that's something I had intended to fix... so, just use your previous cursor (easier playability) or just simply remove it.

You also got some skin elements you don't need such as:
- star.png
- playfield.png
- section-fail.png
- section-pass.png
- followpint-1.png (followpoint 1 to 5 actually, remove all these except for followpoint)

It is also highly recommended you remove these components of the skin as the other parts of the skin element have not been skinned:
- go.png
- ready.png

While I am at it, I found some other nitpicky stuff... XD

[Easy]

00:29:160 (5) - Needs to start 1/4 earlier. XD

Other than that, still finding no problem with the maps. Fix the skin elements then I will return with the bubble (again?????). XD XD

EDIT: I added the current cursor I am currently using in the most latest update for my skin (not uploaded yet)... I am pretty sure this came from ztrot though, so, the credit still goes to him for it.

Other than that, still finding no problem with the maps. Fix the skin elements then I will return with the bubble (again?????). XD XD

EDIT: I added the current cursor I am currently using in the most latest update for my skin (not uploaded yet)... I am pretty sure this came from ztrot though, so, the credit still goes to him for it.
