General

Normal: PreviewTime: 93595
Hard: PreviewTime: 93501

^ They don't match up

Normal

00:13:720 (3,5,1) - you could position them such that they have equal spacing between all of them
01:32:095 - the end of break time seems to start randomly, fix it to a line like this one?
02:36:220 (1,2) - I don't think it flows well here
03:06:220 (1) - having it higher would be better, better for moving from 03:05:095 (4)
03:17:095 - add a note, don't leave such an empty gap, just to end with 1 more spinner

Hard

00:18:218 (3) - not snapped
00:10:720 (4,1) - the held vocal starts at 00:10:901 which happens to currently be on the end of a slider, which doesn't really play as well as it should, readjust the rhythm here to fit it?
00:56:657 (4) - whistle on start of slider
01:12:970 (2,3) - blanket each other
01:44:657 (2) - whistle on start of slider
01:47:845 (3) - ctrl-h would have better movement from the previous circle
02:44:657 (2,3) - whistle on start of slider
03:17:095 - add a note

Seems like a big jump from Normal to Hard, you might want to either reduce the gap or find something to bridge it. Good Luck

  1. On #modhelp we came to the conclusion that the title definitely has to be "Heart Skips a Beat". Source: Itunes

When skinning gameplay elements, complete sets of elements must be skinned. For instance, if you skin hitcircles, you must include a hitcircle.png, hitcircleoverlay.png, approachcircle.png, and a slider border color (this can be done by adding the line "SliderBorder: 255,255,255" (using RGB values) under the [Colours] section of each .osu file). The same logic applies to hitbursts, cursors, numbers, and anything else of this nature. If you didn't intend to skin an element in the set, then using the templateskin's version is okay. Setting a SkinPreference is also acceptable (e.g. forcing the default skin).
In case you don't know how to do it, do it like this: http://puu.sh/b74iy/0f90a1a69f.png Btw, 255,255,255 looks really nice with your skin: http://puu.sh/b74lZ/40871dc727.jpg
  3. I made a 1366x768-version of your background, because that's the recommended size. Was done by stretching it a little bit and cutting a very little bit from the top and the bottom. In case you don't like it, use yours.
  4. The Hard has Widescreen Support enabled, although AiMod doesn't point this out (stupid Aimod ;w;). Please disable it.
  5. 00:39:501 - Place your Preview Point here, at the first kiai, because then the song can contiue for longer until it has to loop when you listen to it on song select. Also, I recommend you to place it a blue tick earlier: It sounds better because of the fade-in!

  • Normal
  1. The difficulty spread needs work. The Hard has very, very much 1/2, so the Normal needs atleast some 1/2-rhythms to fit the spread. Also, you've not been using many 1/2-rhythms before 02:03:595, but after that you've been using much more, although the music is similiar. That's why I'd suggest to add 1/2 to the first and second kiai, to improve the diff spread and to make it consistent!
  2. How to do it: You could easily use the same rhythmic patterns like 02:56:657 (3) and implement them in the other kiais. Although it will be some work, including remapping some sections, it's worth the effort!
~ Some of the following suggestions might not fit anymore when you fixed the above problems - Just ignore them in this case ~
  3. 00:06:595 (1) - Why don't you have this spinner in Hard, too? I think it fits to the volume-increasing sounds in the background, so I'd add it in the Hard difficulty. Decide on your own, but make it consistent atleast.
  4. 00:21:595 (1,2) - Is the higher spacing intentional?
  5. 00:44:095 (2,3,1) - This looks kind of blocky compared to the other patterns in your map. Maybe you could make (3) a curved slider or something like that? http://puu.sh/b75Wn/1d997f24cd.jpg
  6. 01:34:345 (2,3) - Again, surprisingly high spacing.
  7. 02:15:595 (1) - This would look more appealing and clean if you move the red anchorpoint at the exact middle of the slider, at the slidertick: http://puu.sh/b765e/7812f9b16d.jpg
  8. 02:29:845 (5,1) - This overlap is not acceptable for the easiest difficulty of a mapset in my opinion. It's pretty cluttered placement that should be avoided. Try to keep it simple for your easiest diff and avoid this overlap. What about a placement like this? http://puu.sh/b7eHE/e69b936ce4.jpg You would have to rearrange some objects afterwards though.
  9. 02:32:657 (5,6,1) - That's easily the most difficult pattern in this map, and the only one where you are using an 1/2-stack. I'd definitely get rid of that, since the newbies won't expect it to be introduced so late in the song. Just use a reverse slider instead, like you always did: http://puu.sh/b78cg/392a798c2e.jpg
  10. 02:43:345 (2,3) - Are you sure you don't want to blanket these? o: It almost looks like it.
  11. 02:45:595 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - I'm worried about the rhythm here: It is much less dense than the other similiar sections in previous kiais, 00:57:595 and 01:51:595. I'd highly recommend you to add some notes here to fill up the gaps, in order to make it consistent! It will also increase the difficulty a bit, to make the spread better!
  12. 02:56:470 - Missing clap.
  13. 03:07:720 (3,1,2,3,1) - Same as 02:45:595
  14. 03:18:595 (1) - This spinner doesn't make sense to me. There's nothing in the music that would indicate the use of a spinner here - Also it's basically the same as 03:15:595 (1,1) so two circles would work well.
  15. I only listed the major problems, since this difficulty needs some more work in my opinion! Make sure to fix most of these, to improve the quality of your map.

  • Hard
  1. 00:16:345 (3,1,2) - The 1/2-gap between (1) and (2) isn't very obvious ingame, since the 1/1-gap before looks the same in terms of spacing. It can't be fixed easily, but I'd move 00:17:657 (2) more upwards, like this: http://puu.sh/b7cP8/751c546914.jpg You will have to rearrange some objects though.
  2. 00:18:220 (3,4,1) - If you'd make the distance spacing equal here, the pattern would play and look better. http://puu.sh/b7dVJ/8cd05752ba.jpg
  3. 00:50:470 - Missing clap.
  4. 01:03:220 (5,1) - I don't understand why you use an antijump here. It seems pretty random o: If I were you, I would space it out normally.
  5. 01:47:095 (1,2,3) - This movement seems too extreme for a Hard difficulty. Try this placement to improve it: http://puu.sh/b7e51/fca5dccfb4.jpg
  6. 02:09:407 (4) - It would make more sense to replace this slider by two circles. 02:09:595 is an emphasized beat that should definitely be clickable. A placement like this would work: http://puu.sh/b7dec/fbe17dcfeb.jpg
  7. 02:11:095 (1) - The curve of this slidershape is almost not noticeable. Wouldn't it look better if it was a bit more curved? http://puu.sh/b7dhx/6175d2b449.jpg
  8. 02:50:095 (1,2,3,4) - This pattern looks kind of random to me and it doesn't play so well, maybe you could replace it by something simple, for example a perfect triangle? http://puu.sh/b7dnK/f29731624a.jpg
  9. 02:50:657 (4,5,6) - The jumps feel too big here, remember it's hard difficulty. The gap to Normal is already high, so it's better to use smaller jumps. You could move (5) to get something like this: http://puu.sh/b7dqC/ee5dd790f4.jpg
  10. 03:03:032 (3,4,1) - Hmm, I don't think this pattern plays so well. The jumps are too extreme for this difficulty, again. What about moving (4) so that it blankets with (1)? http://puu.sh/b7efW/23dc810d18.jpg
  11. 03:13:720 (1) - It feels strange to end this slider on the downbeat (the big white tick, in this case), since this beat is very emphasized and should be clickable in my opinion. Also, you are ignoring a kind of important drum sound at 03:13:907, so the best solution would be this rhythm: http://puu.sh/b7eo1/1f60888af8.jpg
  12. 03:14:282 (2,3,4) - This overlap doesn't look very clean, so I'd recommend you to get rid of it. What about something like this: http://puu.sh/b7dxg/a2df0eb6eb.jpg
  13. Overall, I like the Hard more than the Normal. You got many nice and creative patterns, but some of them could be more tidy and clean in my opinion. For example, 00:12:595 (1) could be stacked on 00:11:657 (2) - Or 01:17:845 (3)'s tail with 01:16:907 (5) and other similiar patterns. These kind of tricks would help making your map look better and therefore granting a more enjoyable experience to the player.

Good luck! :) I'm sure, with more mods, you'll make a diamond out of this mapset!
Please reply to my mod, and tell me what you didn't fix and why! Thank you :3

Nozhomi
Hi~ Mod request from...Krfawy ??? What the...
Please reply to this mod saying what you didn't fix (and what you did) and why to improve my futur mods.
If you've any question, ask me in-game.

- General :
  1. Need confirmation but offset +10 looks better.
  2. Preview Point conflict.
  3. Looks like Desperate-kun make you disable Widescreen Support, but the osb file is still here. Remove it.
- Hard :
  1. 00:17:105 (1,2,3) - These blankets can be improved.
  2. 00:26:667 (5,6,7,8) - For these circles, i would go for this http://puu.sh/biGuE/9ed1989771.jpg. Actually i don't understand jump between 00:27:220 (8,9) - and flow is not so good between 00:27:407 (9,1) - with your pattern imo.
  3. 00:44:095 (1,2) - Maybe improve a little blanket.
  4. 01:15:595 (1) - and 01:15:970 (2) - CTRL+G both of them. It'll improve flow between 01:15:220 (5,1) - and 01:15:970 (2,3,4) - .
  5. 01:37:907 (5) - Move it at 176:140 to align 01:37:345 (4,5,1) - .
  6. 02:06:970 (2,3) - This overlap not looks so good, but he plays well. So maybe you can make it a little more pretty...or not ?
  7. 03:03:407 (4,1) - Honestly this breakflow quite bad. I would CRTL+G 03:03:595 (1) - to fix it and rework a little the next pattern.
  8. 03:11:282 (2,4) - You can avoid this kind of overlap maybe ?
  9. 03:14:282 (2,3,4) - Why not something like this to remove the overlap http://puu.sh/biO33/a933e359d0.jpg ?
- Normal :
  1. 00:10:720 (2,3) - To improve blanket, move archor point 1 -> 351:289 / archor point 2 -> 405:263 / end of slider 428:304.
  2. 00:21:595 (1) - Maybe make it symmetric ?
  3. 01:13:345 (2,3) - You can improve this blanket.
  4. 01:34:345 (2,3,4) - CRTL+G 01:34:345 (2,3) - and CTRL+H 01:35:095 (4) - to improve hightly the flow.
  5. 02:29:845 (5,1) - Move them to stack 02:29:470 (4,1) - .
  6. 03:07:345 (2) - This circle is hard to read because 03:07:720 (3) - apprear. You should change it.
  7. 03:09:970 (2,3) - Improve this blanket.
  8. In this diff, i'm really fan of these breakflow like 00:25:345 (2,3) - and general flow. Try to improve them unless you like it but for a Normal diff i'm not sure if it's so good.

That's all. Hope it help you.

  8. In this diff, i'm really fan of these breakflow like 00:25:345 (2,3) - and general flow. Try to improve them unless you like it but for a Normal diff i'm not sure if it's so good.

That's all. Hope it help you. You helped me alot <3~~

Help!!! the heart has done the skippage of one metronone!!!!!!!

Hard:
00:10:720 (4) - Ok so like this makes about 0 sense
00:18:220 (3,4,1) - ^. You're pretty much doubling the spacing for a part that isn't even a definable part of the music.
01:01:345 (3) - Consider raising this a bit so the endpoints of the sliders don't touch.
01:23:470 (3) - Like seriously
01:37:907 (1) - Remove NC

The biggest thing when making hard diffs is that jumps need to have purpose. When they're sprinkled randomly, it plays really randomly, which is no fun

Normal:
02:33:407 (6,1) - Move this upward so it creates a pretty pattern and such

Woo woo woo. Even though there's a few issues with hard, I'm still fine with bubbling after applying changes. Woohoo

Thank you for mod CDFA! About spacing and jumps, I changed most of them to normal spaced. <3~

Finally found some time to check and... sorry, but I gotta pop it due to the missing skin element.

Note that only the underlined parts are critical. Everything else is pretty much rankable but still worth considering.

[General]
  1. The reversearrow.png is missing from your skin. You are obligated to include that file in order to skin hitobjects completely. Confirmation + AiBat says so.
  2. 03:15:595 - increase the volune here to make the hitsounds audible at this part. They fade with the music and it's hard to feel them.
[Normal]
  1. Reduce HP Drain a little to make the last part more playable. 3,0 or 3,1 would do great.
  2. 00:08:095 - finnish the spinner here, please. Be consistent with the Hard diff + give some more recovery time to players.
  3. 00:12:970 (2,4) - seems a bit tricky for the easiest diff of the mapset. here's an example
  4. 00:26:095 (3) - the way how this slider is placed is confusing for beginners. The tail of the slider is too close to the previous slider and can be mistakenly hit by players. Try this to make the pattern more understandable.
  5. 00:55:720 (3,4) - you don't use such stacks often and this one feels out of place here. Mind unstacking the pattern?
  6. 01:51:595 (1,2) - the downbeat feels unstressed (01:53:095) and the pattern itself doesn't match well with the vocals. Try something like this, probably?
Note: you can also use a pattern like 00:57:595 (1) - or 02:45:595 (1,2,3). Feel free to chose anything you prefer. :)
  7. 03:06:220 (1,2,3) - the pattern is a bit too tricky for the easiest diff. How about re-arranging stuff to make it more readable? Example.

    Good job! :)
[Hard]
  1. I'd say that HP 6 fits just right. It keepl players enterrained, gives enough challenge and doesn't feel too boring. Give it a try! :)
  2. 00:44:657 (2) - reverse of this slider gets slightly overlapped with 00:43:907 (5) - it's still readable, but avoiding this kind of stuff would be better. Example
  3. 01:02:751 (3) - there are only two 1/4 patterns in the whole diff, I would highly suggest to remove this circle. As for 02:51:407 (6,7) - replacing these two with a slider would make the diff a bit more playable and consistent.
  4. 03:01:157 (2,3,4) - try to avoid stcking 1/1 and 1/2 objects on each other. IT can confuse playrs and looks a bit untidy. It will take less than a minute to fix the pattern, come on! :3 Example1 and alternative way to break the stack.
  5. 03:15:407 (6,1) - the jump looks quite unnatural, in my opinion. I'd rather keep the DS consistent. But it is TOTALLY up to you.

Try to pay a bit more attention to the jumps, next time. But for now, you did great! I quite like what you've got there.
Please contact me once the ppost is checked. I will be happy to restore the bubble.

Sorry about this little inconvenience.

Thank you Bakari, as you can see I fixed everything. Also replaced last two notes in Normal to spinner, because I did this on hard.
