Well, things must be a bit different in EU (assuming they play in EU) than the NA servers I play on. Most ADCs go barrier here rather than heal

What level are you playing at Frostei because in diamond all Vaynes I see go Blade - PD - LW - IE/Defensive with no BT. Unless you can get away with BT (i.e, no champs that can zerg you where Blade helps the most) and even then, only people who are super comfortable on Vayne will go BT. Vayne is my most played champ by a long way (1000+ Vayne games, 2nd highest champ 300 games) and I build Blade PD LW almost every game because it's just safer.
You can only trade as Vayne if you're better than your opponent really. I can tell almost instantly if I'm playing someone below plat just based on how they trade when they're against a Vayne. Against people of equal or better skill, you're likely to lose most trades but it also depends on the supports as well.
And yes, everyone runs heal. It's objectively better than barrier.

Umm no... Even NA adc's run heal because it's still broken even after the nerfs. Barrier is trash compared to heal now.

Playing some half-hearted rankeds once in a while and that's all for now.
Not really the latest patch, but rather whole direction of balance lately been confusing me, can't really put it into words off the bat though.

It's got to the point they have to pretty much remake the jungle mid season because they can't balance for shit. LOL
If we just had some kind of test server where Riot could implement things first and then adjust them later

A lot of things were definitely complained about on the PBE before they hit live, but Riot ignores us. The PBE players are doing their job. Riot isn't.
Even some major bugs still get through sometimes. I honestly don't even know why there is a pbe server in the first place anymore.

I don't think League is anywhere near close to actually dying, though dying is a loose term and varies from person to person.
I can see the player base dropping a lot if things don't shape up in about a year. They have already screwed over thier veteran players so idk.

Well, people said the same thing about World of Warcraft (and the player base has dropped substantially, no doubt) but there's still a few million people playing it after so many years. So I think League of Legends, which currently has a much bigger player base than WoW ever had, will stay alive for a whole bunch of years more. I guess.

My definition of dead is the game shuts down. This won't happen for a very long time if at all. WoW lost like 4-5 million subs over the course of 3 years which is a lot of people. Heck even heroes of newerth is still kicking and that game went downhill years ago.BrokenArrow wrote:

I'm pretty sure league is going to lose a lot of it's player base to other Moba's like HotS when that finally launches. With that aside smaller moba's like Smite's population has been increasing steadily over the last few months.

So I guess we all agree, that League was pretty fun at first, but meanwhile it just sucks... I played it since beta.
I hate it, what happened to the game. It used to be fun. And when the game got overhyped the Community started to suck aswell.
That's why I stick to Singleplayer Games... or atleast Multiplayer games where Bad Skill doesn't end up in Total Flame Wars and destroy the fun.

I don't play Ranked very seriously anymore. I only care if I get silver awards. Friends tell me to play seriously with them. They're all Gold->Plat players. One of them is diamond. They want me to improve because my mid is comparably decent to Gold (or so they say).
I agree with Shewie. The game had that appeal, but it's not really there for me anymore either.

No interaction with your team (exception of mid maybe) because junglers are farming for 50 minutes, and people in lane don't get punished for playing passively anymore. Makes the game incredibly frustrating and boring at the same time which is a very bad direction to go down.
Next patch will hopefully fix the jungle problem, but not sure what they plan on doing about the other stuff.
Yeah it's impossible to snowball from early game on this patch which will hopefully be fixed somewhat in 4.6 but I still think they should revert the first blood nerf.
This patch also sucks because it depends more on your teammates not fucking up and actually listening to your pings rather than your ability to win lane and snowball.

it works well in early (if you use it ofc), mostly on twitch/adc's who only auto attack, it helps to get fed but becomes useless in late. A bit dangerous on vayne since she's supposed to fight only in tf and needs more (=>phantom dancer usually) than this 3 hit buff at these moments (but ofc i guess it's a bit different in bronze é_è...).

In other news, it really sucks when your lane matchup comes to lane with blue buff at level one and hits level 2 a wave before you. Made us lose literally the entire game, and the enemy jungler didn't get punished. -_-

I quit the first dota because it became too stagnant. Dota 2 is a good game though, but definitely not the type of moba I want to play.
League just needs to get out of the 4.6 patch and I think it will be fine as long as they address the other issues later. Laners sitting at their turrets and farming from range while the junglers sit in the jungle for 20 minutes farming for their precious stacks made this game beyond boring to play. It's fixable. Riot just needs to hurry the fuck up.
Patch 4.7 probably won't come until after all stars which is like a week away =\
Many things were already fixed on the PBE. There are just 3 things left I'd love to see to make this game better again
1. Nerf exhaust
2. More fb gold/more gold for kills in general
3. Fix fps issues
Riot also implemented a new sound engine on the PBE iirc, that might be a first step towards performance increase.

Can I keep building like this outside of silver? I used to play as a carry and build a ton of AD, but it felt like it's going to waste when everyone has 5-6 items, I'd rather let people who scale better take the kills and build as a tank.
Usually I rush spirit golem -> hexdrinker -> boots -> maw/randuin depending on the situation.
Everything else looks fine tho, for CDR I'd prefer Brutalizer over CDR boots

I finally won my promo's to silver 2 again. Coincidentally I had to lane against a Kennen that's from The Netherlands like I am.
Adc seems to be working fine for me, as long as I go Vayne. I just can't play any other adc.

Try to learn caitlyn she is a great adc for solo Q and in general

Learning curve is low so the game is straight forward and easy if you played other Moba's. It's unique compared to other moba's.
I wouldn't really compare it much with a shooter since you have a metric load more options to do other than shoot at people, but it has similar aspects. I absolutely hate shooter games so that's why I say this. D:
It's definitely a good game to pick up if you get tired of League. I usually go back to Smite when League is in a poor state like it is now.

Okay then. There is the thing called "timestamp" for manually putting up timers anyway and IT IS AVAILABLE ON EVERY PERSON WITH OR WITHOUT CURSE VOICE. Also, Dota has voice chat, why not in League?
There is a very very very big difference between manual and automatic. Voice chat really isn't the problem as much the timers.
The problem with Riot allowing 3rd party software that gives you timer info like this is that it would open the door for much worse down the line. Glad Riot isn't making the same mistake WoW did with this.

I always wondered. I'm in Silver 2 right now on 20 LP and I just won my promo's from Silver 3. What if I lose the next game, have 0 points and lose the next game too will I demote? I've always questioned this. Isn't there some sort of system to protect you from dropping out from a new division when you just entered it?

Edit: What the fuck? I just got into champion select, bans were done champions were taken etc and I came into the loading screen but I got that Firewall error which didn't allow me to reconnect. I tried alt + f4 and reconnected and I got the same error and suddenly after like 3 minutes I came back into the client and I can just simply get into queue? I haven't lost any points either? :/

I think after you win a game you lose your ability to not be demoted.
