After some games on the PBE Nocturne and every other FF user will be fine and very much playable with the new FF. Difference is they won't be THE go to junglers and you can't sit in the jungle for 20 minutes and expect to carry the game anymore. The fact that Riot allowed such a playstyle for almost a month is beyond me and never should have happened in the first place. The game as a whole is better off without it.

Feral Flare is an anti teamwork item and it deserves every single nerf for being so.

No but seriously all I can tell you is: Don't tumble into 5 people even if you have 6 items, it doesn't work.
Also avoid trading early unless you can get a stun off when the enemy adc is near a wall.

Well, things must be a bit different in EU (assuming they play in EU) than the NA servers I play on. Most ADCs go barrier here rather than heal

And again, most people I see build both BOTRK with BT here so meh

avoid trading early???? idk you can easily win trades early with vayne because, especially at level 1 if you play it correctly. trade whenever you want, just avoid getting bursted

What level are you playing at Frostei because in diamond all Vaynes I see go Blade - PD - LW - IE/Defensive with no BT. Unless you can get away with BT (i.e, no champs that can zerg you where Blade helps the most) and even then, only people who are super comfortable on Vayne will go BT. Vayne is my most played champ by a long way (1000+ Vayne games, 2nd highest champ 300 games) and I build Blade PD LW almost every game because it's just safer.

You can only trade as Vayne if you're better than your opponent really. I can tell almost instantly if I'm playing someone below plat just based on how they trade when they're against a Vayne. Against people of equal or better skill, you're likely to lose most trades but it also depends on the supports as well.

And yes, everyone runs heal. It's objectively better than barrier.

Umm no... Even NA adc's run heal because it's still broken even after the nerfs. Barrier is trash compared to heal now.

Yeah I meant level as in skill level, or rank. It generally helps to be up to date on the current state of the game also. :P

If you haven't played since patch 4.5 you are in for a surprise because a lot of stuff that was added changed the game.

This patch is kinda awful to be honest. Most of my friends and I are taking a break until 4.7 goes live.

Yep, I don't really understand the game at the moment.

Playing some half-hearted rankeds once in a while and that's all for now.

Not really the latest patch, but rather whole direction of balance lately been confusing me, can't really put it into words off the bat though.

Riot doesn't even know what they are doing anymore. If this trend continues League will lose a lot of players or some other Moba will end up taking them.

It's got to the point they have to pretty much remake the jungle mid season because they can't balance for shit. LOL

A lot of things were definitely complained about on the PBE before they hit live, but Riot ignores us. The PBE players are doing their job. Riot isn't.
Even some major bugs still get through sometimes. I honestly don't even know why there is a pbe server in the first place anymore.

I don't think League is anywhere near close to actually dying, though dying is a loose term and varies from person to person.
I can see the player base dropping a lot if things don't shape up in about a year. They have already screwed over thier veteran players so idk.

Well, people said the same thing about World of Warcraft (and the player base has dropped substantially, no doubt) but there's still a few million people playing it after so many years. So I think League of Legends, which currently has a much bigger player base than WoW ever had, will stay alive for a whole bunch of years more. I guess.

My definition of dead is the game shuts down. This won't happen for a very long time if at all. WoW lost like 4-5 million subs over the course of 3 years which is a lot of people. Heck even heroes of newerth is still kicking and that game went downhill years ago.

I'm pretty sure league is going to lose a lot of it's player base to other Moba's like HotS when that finally launches. With that aside smaller moba's like Smite's population has been increasing steadily over the last few months.

So I guess we all agree, that League was pretty fun at first, but meanwhile it just sucks... I played it since beta.

I hate it, what happened to the game. It used to be fun. And when the game got overhyped the Community started to suck aswell.
That's why I stick to Singleplayer Games... or atleast Multiplayer games where Bad Skill doesn't end up in Total Flame Wars and destroy the fun.

He's my mid main. I played 14 ranked games last season only. Carried myself from Bronze I -> Silver V with Malz.
I don't play Ranked very seriously anymore. I only care if I get silver awards. Friends tell me to play seriously with them. They're all Gold->Plat players. One of them is diamond. They want me to improve because my mid is comparably decent to Gold (or so they say).

I agree with Shewie. The game had that appeal, but it's not really there for me anymore either.

It's mostly just this current patch for me. No interaction with your team (exception of mid maybe) because junglers are farming for 50 minutes, and people in lane don't get punished for playing passively anymore. Passive playstyle is why stuff like Ziggs and Nidalee are running rampant in competitive play.

Makes the game incredibly frustrating and boring at the same time which is a very bad direction to go down.

Next patch will hopefully fix the jungle problem, but not sure what they plan on doing about the other stuff.

Yeah it's impossible to snowball from early game on this patch which will hopefully be fixed somewhat in 4.6 but I still think they should revert the first blood nerf.

This patch also sucks because it depends more on your teammates not fucking up and actually listening to your pings rather than your ability to win lane and snowball.

it works well in early (if you use it ofc), mostly on twitch/adc's who only auto attack, it helps to get fed but becomes useless in late. A bit dangerous on vayne since she's supposed to fight only in tf and needs more (=>phantom dancer usually) than this 3 hit buff at these moments (but ofc i guess it's a bit different in bronze é_è...).

So I was playing as Cassiopea and Fiora managed to ult after she got stun from my ult. You could see her transformed in stone while she was dashing around. That really annoyed me because she was under tower.

I've had a Fiora ulti me mid Warwick ult. Probably would have pissed me off if it resulted in a death for me, but it didn't.

Saw a post on reddit mentioning some pro's are retiring because league is boring. Definitely not a good sign for this game.

Makes sense.

I've quit DotA to play LoL basically because LoL was better and more fun at what most of the player base plays: soloqueue.

But it's not anymore.

Hmm that's weird. Maybe it's because of the patch where Riot added these cool stealth visuals, wasn't there an option to disable them?

In other news, it really sucks when your lane matchup comes to lane with blue buff at level one and hits level 2 a wave before you. Made us lose literally the entire game, and the enemy jungler didn't get punished. -_-

Or that xinzhao just comes to bot lane with red when you're still level 1, and you and your lane partner's faces just gets rekt before you know what happened... Then the xin just ganked and ganked, and then clearing a few camps bought his level back up real quick...

I lost my promo's to Silver 2 for the 3rd time this week. I've been playing top lane since S2 but I think I'm just gonna give up on top lane and play either mid or adc.

Yeah i agree League of legends in general is starting to work on my nerfes, the games are just not fun annymore you basicaly can't carry annymore even a challenger dude on reddit said it i get that its a team game but you have to rely way to much on your team now, so i am taking a break from lol and i am focusing on osu!(CtB)

Makes sense.

I've quit DotA to play LoL basically because LoL was better and more fun at what most of the player base plays: soloqueue.

But it's not anymore.
Why I've been playing Smite lately. Game is new and exciting just like when I first started League back in early 2010.

I quit the first dota because it became too stagnant. Dota 2 is a good game though, but definitely not the type of moba I want to play.

League just needs to get out of the 4.6 patch and I think it will be fine as long as they address the other issues later. Laners sitting at their turrets and farming from range while the junglers sit in the jungle for 20 minutes farming for their precious stacks made this game beyond boring to play. It's fixable. Riot just needs to hurry the fuck up.

Patch 4.7 probably won't come until after all stars which is like a week away =\

Many things were already fixed on the PBE. There are just 3 things left I'd love to see to make this game better again
1. Nerf exhaust
2. More fb gold/more gold for kills in general
3. Fix fps issues

Riot also implemented a new sound engine on the PBE iirc, that might be a first step towards performance increase.
