For the latest version on android market., after I change the target directory to osu!droid one, then the app will be easily crashed.If it crashes after changing song folder again, please "Send Error Report" from your phone, I thought I'd solved all issues around this.
And it seems the app cannot direct process for 12X maps in one time, it freezed on about 2X maps only.

Also, I'll test loading >20 maps when I get the chance but I doubt the quantity is what crashes it, it could be a problem map...Damn, I love the sleek, minimalistic UI.<3

Alex, can you try this new version, I might've fixed the advanced menu bug, but I'm not sure since I can't reproduce it. (It's to do with your phone's OEM themes)

If you uninstalled to install this test version, your settings wohld have been reset and the new default offset is 0, which is correct for the native player.
