Finished! Finally it was an AR9 map with a difficulty increase as the melody goes on (Difficulty: 8/10).

I put 2 notes before the uninherited section, that's why the Audio Lead-in is higher than the rest of the diffs (1000 ms vs 500 ms). If MATs/BATs don't agree with this, change it back to 500.

  2. Why not add Taiko and CtB to Tags? It is easier to find maps with CtB (or Taiko) then?

The mapping style is not one that I would use myself. I feel it's just "too random", if you will, for my liking. I think your 3 ranked beatmaps on a whole are are much more enjoyable to play (and look at) than this one, but don't stop working on this one. If I had to pick out what I didn't "like" and post it, a lot of it would be the sliders. You have lots of long ones, that just go to waste with simplicity.
That's enough for my rant.I hope you and your map go far.
Ps. Half-assed mod for your half-assed map.

All I will do in fact is adding mods (or not). There won't be any big changes. If I had to pick out what I didn't "like" and post it, a lot of it would be the sliders. You have lots of long ones, that just go to waste with simplicity. So simplicity is something bad? Well, I like it. As much as I like uncommon sliders, but on this one I do have my "simple" sliders.

Please make the soft-hitwhistles and normal-hitnormals lower-volumed in all diffs, they feel too loud currently.

I do not find this Insane very insane - just saying, I prefer custom diffnames over forcing the standard four diffnames onto a mapset in order to just make their difficulty visible by their names; this feels more like a Hard+ or smth to me, so I suggest you pick custom diffnames connected to the kirby story or smth.


  • 00:06:824 (1) - end could be bettered out (when you select it and go to 00:06:740 in time, you will notice the distance of the sliderarc to the approach circle variates, please try to align it perfectly); also, what is the reason for this shape? as a start-button for the map, okay but to the song... I don't really find redpoints much fitting there
    00:08:488 (4,5,6) - I sense larger spacing here since you got high sounds in the music which suggest something like a jumpy pattern
    00:13:813 (5,6) - ^
    00:16:143 (6) - well this curve can be bettered out, better use 3 sliderpoints here (currently, the end is very unbalanced when compared to the beginning of the slider)

Comment: I found the whistles a bit harsh, also the hitnormals - you could get the music a bit better aswell, adding "jumps" where I suggested and suchs; overall, the mapping seems okay but I am sure you can get more out of it.

  • 00:06:824 (1) - i do not enjoy this bow, smooth it out with more sliderpoints as you did in Insane
    00:10:818 (7) - could be a bit better by moving the end more top-rightish
    00:32:120 (1) - the curve feels very unbalanced, the beginning is too curvy and the end is too plain
    00:36:115 (7) - wow... that one... is ugly... sorry, please redesign that :/

    00:50:760 (5) - moving the sliderpoint 4 grids right, 1-2 down will make the curve feel a lot smoother (size 4)
    00:56:086 (4,5,6,7,8) - that combo feels better if you use the following coordinates: 112|104, 152|84, 196|80, 240|88, 280|108
    01:16:057 (4) - moving the second sliderpoint 2-3 grids down and the first one to the left (size 4) will make the slider look smoother, you should do that
Comment: Seems somewhat okay, though, sliders as mentioned and also the hitwhistles and normal-sampleset uses feel too harsh.

    00:44:103 (1,2) - I don't like putting two slidershapes that are about the same following to each other, especially like this, it doesn't contain any flow; suggesting to let 1 lead back into the playfield's center and let 2 catch the motion and continuing it
    01:05:406 (1) - you could just use one sliderpoint here, two of them take away the curvyness in this example, they're too linearly played
Comment: Same as for Normal and Hard, a little more sliderworkout and hitsounding will do, polish it more and it'll be fine.



@Kokatsu: Hitsounding volume is always so loud in your taikos, me no gustav. Go more with the song.
Also, I find the Oni's streams too harsh, they overshadow the song.
Why do the diffs end about halfway of the song? That is not moe.

Okay, kinda too lazy to answer every single thing. I fixed the thing with the mentioned normal-hitnormals, some sliders were fixed in their shape, and some other little things. The "ugly" sliders I won't change, sorry. About the bigger distance at the high notes in Insane: I don't like that idea, because I don't like too many jumps. And the name, well, in my opinion it is not just a Hard+. You may make those freaking Super-Insanes, but that doesn't mean that something easier isn't an insane.
