I am seriously going to try to get this ranked (I haven't managed to get any of my other maps ranked so this will hopefully be my first). I would love it if you could make a normal diff for this!! Do you think I should make an insane diff or just have easy, normal, and hard?
BTW, you did an AMAZING job on Gold!! I love it so much!

Before we continue farther:

Offset -25 (75) 100 feels too late
SV 1.8/2.0 on Hard (I'm going to use 1.6 on my Normal)
DS 1.0 on Hard, you should not set DS lower than 0.8 and higher than 1.2 or the movement flow will be broken (unmatched the SV speed)

My SV changes throughout the song. It starts off with a slower velocity and speeds up as the song reaches higher intensity. Is the 1.8/2.0 SV for the beginning of the song or for a different part.
Because the SV changes throughout the song, I changed the DS to keep the blanketed notes effect through the entire song. If the DS increases too much the blankets are not possible. Thoughts on this?

Ahh... I see about SV changes.
But about the blankets, I see you're utilizing low DS for blankets. Hmm.. I don't recommend this. I'd better use correct and smooth DS instead of low DS even with blankets. You know, when mapping the important thing is flow first, visual second, hitsounds third. DS affects flow more than you think.

Ahh... I see about SV changes.

Quick question, would it be okay to have the DS on hard change as long as it doesn't go below 0.7 or above 1.2? For example, one part of the song would be 0.8 and another would be 1.1.

Umm, I don't think so. SV may be vary across the song but DS shouldn't, because just what I've stated earlier, DS affects flow greatly and various DS is not recommendable, combined or not combined with SV.

For such discussion like this we should continue on in-game chat, to avoid unecessary posts on this beatmap thread

In this diff I changed the DS at different points of the song (whenever I change SV) so the notes would be the same distance throughout the song. I felt that on this diff I could pull off changing the DS where on the others it affected the flow too much.

Beginning Section: Bring the hitsounds WAY down. Right now it looks like overmapping when the song is subtle. Make the drumline prominent so the mapping here makes sense.
Maybe invest in a silent slider-slide? (Or the quietest ranking criteria will allow)

Insane:
Overall, the map seems overmapped in terms of notes. However, I really like the streams you have in here, as well as the spacing and shaping and patterns. What I'd do to make them seem more natural is to do some creative hitsounding on them (ie. 01:13:496 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - You could probably put a fun whistle pattern on that). Otherwise, it looks like overmapping instead of creatively placed nice-looking streams.

Hey thanks for the input. I know that the pace of these diffs might feel a little bit slow. However, when you are mapping a song like this one (Slow, peaceful, etc.) you have to be careful that the mapping flows with the song and is not too jumpy or too cramped.

Hmmm... If I try to use my point of view on mapping, there's probably a lot more to fix here, but personally your style is already good. I just tried to point out objective things (not subjective) here and I hope it could help ^^ But after this, you still need more mods (maybe 5~6) especially from XATs so this map could improve better :3

Besides, this part is so quiet that clap just don't fits here o.o I tried this without the claps and with normal sounds and I didn't like either of them so I think I will leave this the same.

compare 01:06:711 (3,4) - and 01:14:922 (9,10) - and you know what I wanna say? Try to make your map more intuitive. I know it's readable even for not-so-pro players, but it just does no good. If the overlapped note after the slider only has a 1/4-beat gap in between, you'd better move the note out a bit (not totally overlapped). So I prefer 01:14:922 (9,10) - but don't feel good about 01:06:711 (3,4) -
01:39:869 (3) - a slider speed-up would be really interesting and fit here, it's just a suggestion though
