00:28:746 - 01:01:687 (3) - For the most part of the song, when you overlap, I think it was because the vocals were fading off or they hung over, but here, that's not the case here. Either way, i'm fine with it the way it is now, but... idk. I would have preferred them not to be stacked to the tails, but again, it's not a big issue to me.

  1. Double check if you’re using this hitsound files;
    “soft-hitclap1.wav soft-hitfinish1.wav”
  2. I’m a bit concerned about the gap from Hard diff to Elcheer’s Insane. Considering the star rating it’s a big gap, from 2,92* to 4,1*, especially considering how you actually have made the spread from easy-hard diff. I really recommend getting a light insane around 3,5* AR 8 to improve and fix the spread.

[Mika’s Easy]
  1. The spinner length could be smaller to give players more recovery time. This spinner 00:16:197 (1) – could end here 00:18:354 - . This will give at least 1 second of recovery time for players to go to the top of the screen 00:19:334 (1) - .
    The same idea goes for this spinner 00:56:981 (1) – that could end here 01:00:118 (1) –
  2. Rotate this slider 00:02:079 (3) – in “-45º” to avoid it being considered by some “off-screen”.
    This slider as well 00:21:687 (4) – is currently off-screen, to easy fix it just rotate it “-36º”

  3. There’s a slider shape that is a bit controversial to be used in an easy difficulty. This ones; 01:00:903 (2) - /01:03:256 (1) - . Even tho it fits with the vocals very well, it’s a slider shape that overlaps the sliderhead with the slider end;
    And it’s worthing mentioning that new players are still getting to understand the mechanics behind following the slider path, so this type of sliders can cause confusion for no big purpose. That’s why I highly recommend using another shape here.
  4. The rhythm here is a bit off 00:28:746 (1,2,1,2) - , you did a great job covering this with circles 00:28:746 (1,2) – following both drum and vocals, but it’s noticeable that the vocal line mapped on the previous circles didn’t follow the same gap from before 00:28:746 (1,2) – two complete measures, instead it started here 00:30:118 - . My suggestion here is that you start this slider 00:30:314 (1) – an the same point of the vocal 00:30:118 – and make it bigger so it ends on the current poing it is ending now; 00:30:707 - . Now the start of the new combo is static 00:28:746 (1) – and hard to read for the transition emphasis and finally 00:47:177 (4,1) – /00:49:138 (3,4) - you changed it once again now you’re stacking the previous combo two objects 00:46:001 (3,4) – for then making the cursor move again at the new combo object 00:47:569 (1) -. It’s not incorrect, but for a normal diff, this might be a bit too little consistent and not as simple as it could be.

  2. The rhythm here is switching a lot from vocal to beats, but the hitsound really tell your intentions of what you’re following. To be honest, it works as a diff between normal and hard. I’ll just mention a few spots that I find to be a bit too hard, but take it as a suggestion to think about some simplification overall;

In my opinion, since you did all drums here 00:11:491 (1,2,3,1) – you could keep this intro, 00:06:785 - ~00:16:001 - , following mainly drum with the bigger sliders.

  1. I think that the idea here 00:59:334 (3) – could be the same you have done here 00:06:001 (3,4) – or vice-versa, just to make it a bit more consistent, since they’re basically the same thing.
  2. Same thing I’ve mentioned on advanced about NC 00:16:197 (1,1,1) -
  3. Really interesting choice to go with the hard diff, using 1/4 to map fast melody/vocal 00:22:471 (1,2,3) -/00:12:275 (4,5,1) - . I believe that since you’re doing that, you should keep a spacing idea different from the points where you actually have a drum 1/4 sounds that you mapped and the vocal/melody that you have done the 1/4 mapping. My advice is that you keep the spacing as showed in the sections I linked before and make all drum 1/4 like this 00:31:687 (4,5,1) – stacked or make all vocal 1/4 sounds stacked and keep the drum the only spaced 1/4 objects of the diff 00:31:687 (4,5,1) - . It’s up to how you want it structured, but make them spaced a bit different or all equal for the sake of consistency of spacing and logic organization.
  4. The flow here is broken 01:21:687 (1,1) - . When you make kicksliders that repeats themselves 4 times, the flow will continue on the sliderend not the slider head like you have mapped here 01:21:687 (1,1) - . A simple ctrol+g here 01:21:687 (1) – might be enough to fix it.

I really recommend getting a light insane around 3,5* AR 8 to improve and fix the spread. zev's remapping

On the next stack point it changed; 00:27:961 (5,1) - . Now the start of the new combo is static 00:28:746 (1) – and hard to read for the transition emphasis and finally 00:47:177 (4,1) – /00:49:138 (3,4) - you changed it once again now you’re stacking the previous combo two objects 00:46:001 (3,4) – for then making the cursor move again at the new combo object 00:47:569 (1) -. It’s not incorrect, but for a normal diff, this might be a bit too little consistent and not as simple as it could be. that's more "variation because different timestamp and verse count"

  1. I think that the idea here 00:59:334 (3) – could be the same you have done here 00:06:001 (3,4) – or vice-versa, just to make it a bit more consistent, since they’re basically the same thing. i'm actually good on this one, they're different drumlines

  3. Really interesting choice to go with the hard diff, using 1/4 to map fast melody/vocal 00:22:471 (1,2,3) -/00:12:275 (4,5,1) - . I believe that since you’re doing that, you should keep a spacing idea different from the points where you actually have a drum 1/4 sounds that you mapped and the vocal/melody that you have done the 1/4 mapping. My advice is that you keep the spacing as showed in the sections I linked before and make all drum 1/4 like this 00:31:687 (4,5,1) – stacked or make all vocal 1/4 sounds stacked and keep the drum the only spaced 1/4 objects of the diff 00:31:687 (4,5,1) - . It’s up to how you want it structured, but make them spaced a bit different or all equal for the sake of consistency of spacing and logic organization.
  4. The flow here is broken 01:21:687 (1,1) - . When you make kicksliders that repeats themselves 4 times, the flow will continue on the sliderend not the slider head like you have mapped here 01:21:687 (1,1) - . A simple ctrol+g here 01:21:687 (1) – might be enough to fix it. don wanna ruin ds and its a hold slider anyhoo

00:13:452 (3,4) - The reverse slider seems kinda weird, instead of having a 1/2 slider you could put a full beat slider then a note after it
00:19:530 (2,3,4) - A triple seems unnecessarily here
00:25:805 (2,3,4) - ^
00:24:040 (1,2,3,4) - Just 4 sliders doesn't seem to reflect the lyrics, go with some sliders and circles instead
00:29:334 (2,1) - Spacing here seems a bit extreme, lower it a bit
00:38:354 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - These triples feel overmapped and could be replaced with half jumps instead and you could even slowly increase the spacing to emphasis the song getting louder
01:06:001 (7) - Not sure why this is a repeater, it should be just a slider with maybe an increased SV
01:26:589 (1) - Feels like a slow slider isn't the best for the end, maybe go with a slightly faster than normal slider instead
01:20:903 (3) - Slider would look better if you smoothed out the first curve

@Pika I have a request. Although I know it's my responsibility as a gder to be informed on whenever the mapset gets a mod, and I have to apply those mods to my gd. I remember asking you to notify me if I ever got a mod, and because of that I was rather lenient to when I should check the thread for a mod. But besides that point, please inform me immediately as to if I get a mod on my gd, even though it is my responsibility, I would rather not take the extra time spent to compile and reply to all of the mods at once. Not that it is a big deal, again it may just be entirely my fault, but I'd prefer that.

  1. Overall, I know nothing about mapping Easy difficulties, but it seems to me that often times ignoring the red ticks in this map causes the rhythm to sound half a beat off. Pika did that for his normal as well, it was simply to simplify the rhythm enough so that it's a basic and consistent 1/1 Maybe this isn't a problem for new players but I think it would be

Also, I don't know how strict DS requirements are for Easies, but I'd assume that for placements like 01:22:863 (2,3) -, keeping a consistent amount of space between objects in a structure is more important than consistent DS. Currently 01:22:863 (2,3) - has a different amount of space between them than the rest of structure, but I don't know if that's a problem or not. anything spacing related is fixed, if it's something like a pixel off I really don't think that should matter. Distance spacing shouldn't be uniformed in an easier difficulty unless it's completely noticeable gameplay wise (In my opinion) The only scenario I could think of where perfectly uniformed distance spacing matters is in harder difficulties with streams in them. I am not saying that spacing in easier difficulties shouldn't be consistent because holy fucking hell the spacing in my diff is inconsistent LMAO

    And it’s worthing mentioning that new players are still getting to understand the mechanics behind following the slider path, so this type of sliders can cause confusion for no big purpose. That’s why I highly recommend using another shape here. I don't ever remembering putting those slider shapes there.

00:05:609 (2,3,4) - This is confusing to read. I can see that there certainly is a 1/8 beat you've properly represented but throughout this section, you established 1/4 stacks to follow the slider and here, it's a 1/8(kinda 1/4) jump. This, paired with the 1/8 slider, can be very difficult to read. Instead of a jump, I recommend maybe a partial overlap of the repeat slider with the 1/8 slider head or tail.

00:28:550 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1) - This section of jumps is confusing to read. I see that you want to snap on the 1 & 2's, which makes sense for the song. However, throughout this section, you've been representing 1/2 jumps with both stacks and snaps. At this part of the song, you have two 1/1 jumps that look no different from the 1/2 jumps. You want to avoid stuff like this. So, I have some suggestions:
1. Turn the snapped-to 2's into 1/2 sliders, removing the 1/1 jump confusion since there would only be 1/2 gaps.

2. Using a small gap to represent the 1/1 jump. See below for an example. (This can conflict with 00:27:373 (1,2)'s pattern, but you could just space those apart more if you make this change.)

01:00:118 - The kiai starts here. In every diff besides the Insane it starts on the next white tick, which isn't correct. You hear that extra layer come in at the time stamp I gave you, which means it's the chorus.

The backgrounds have no purpose. They also all don't share the same style. The alolan diff I think fits the style of the song, but then in some diffs like Hyper and Hard you use wallpaper style backgrounds. Regardless, you have different backgrounds which suggest different ideas, but the only differences I see in the set are difficulty and coloring. Assuming all the backgrounds were of the same tropical style, this idea would only work if you had multiple difficulties of the same level. That way you keep the spread but include more ideas.

Alolan

00:05:805 - Up until here your hitsounds are too quiet.

00:06:066 (1) - You don't need the nc here as both this and the previous slider were 1/3 and the nc makes the player think there's something different about it.

00:16:197 (1) - jeezuz when was there a cannon in pokemon. 50-60% volume sounds good.

00:22:863 (3) - This barely goes off screen.

01:20:707 (1) - Unsnapped thing


Insane

01:19:726 (1,2,1,2) - With what you decided to bring out with these jumps the nc should be one the first note and the last. So the numbers should read off as 1,2,3,1. Reason being is because the emphasis is on the first and last notes, so the coloring should compliment that.

00:59:530 (3,4,5,6,1) - This is just a bad way to overmap. There's a mess in the background, so mapping it all as 1/4 doesn't really help. You're better off using reverse sliders.

00:05:805 (2,3) - This rhythm is incorrect. There's no 1/4 sound where the reverse slider is. The best way I can think of to map this is to use a 1/2 slider.

  3. 00:36:393 (9,1) - Make it a triple instead of a 1/4 into slider, like 00:33:256 (5,6,1) - . This pattern is just out of no where and it makes it pretty awkward.
  4. 00:44:824 (3,4,5,6) - Is different than 00:47:961 (2,3,4) - , but in other diffs they're pretty much the same. Change that?
  5. 00:49:726 (3) - You could just make this a 1/2 slider with a circle note 00:50:314 -
  6. 00:58:550 (1,2,3) - This has more activity going than the Alolan difficulty.

The set in general needs more polishing. Everything seems out of place and in terms of aesthetics, awful. Really think you should revise the Insane and Hard. Look back into Alolan and polish it a bit more. It seems you're trying too hard to make it difficult.

The set in general needs more polishing. Everything seems out of place and in terms of aesthetics, awful. Really think you should revise the Insane and Hard. Look back into Alolan and polish it a bit more. It seems you're trying too hard to make it difficult.

you have a serious combo issue at the beginning of map, u are following a default of NCing at every downbeat when at the rest of the map u NCed in every 2 downbeats, consider fixing it. fixed all nc problems
