Pomijając fakt że zapewniłem dobrej jakości mp3, całą sekcję czasową (timing i offset), kolory combo (włączając w to slajdery), ustawienia w mapie oraz to że testowałem tę mapę przez pół roku i stworzyłem patterny typu 01:17:050 (1) - slajder w Normalu bądź 00:39:130 (2) - takowy obiekt w Easy to jeszcze zwracałem uwagę na wiele aspektów włączając w to design, strukturę, zrozumiałość czy też flow mapy oraz patterny. Co więcej, samodzielnie zrobiłem hitsoundy do całego mapsetu i poprawiałem ewentualne problemy z nimi związane. Już za wyżej wspomniane rzeczy można mi przydzielić kudosu więc wal śmiało, hehehe.

Jeżeli w Hardzie 00:19:450 (1,2,3) - takie stakowanie występuje praktycznie wszędzie (wszystkie triple) to 00:52:330 (1,2,3) - pominięto je tutaj oraz 02:01:450 (1,2,3) - tutaj. Trochę poprawiliśmy też wcześniejsze stacki bo był z tym niezły bajzel. Chyba nienawidzę mapowania bo trzeba zachowywać coraz więcej systematyczności i ostro mnie to irytuje. ;_; A tak w ogóle to mam nadzieję że moje patterny 02:33:850 (1,2) - tutaj ci się podobają. \w/ I jak będzie więcej skarg to faktycznie użyj AR7. :<

Teraz szukajmy dalej modów a potem może znajdziemy jakiegoś miłego nominującego bądź też panią. D:

Subiektywne sugestie:
Zwiększyłbym CS do 3.5,
Zmniejszyłbym OD do 5.5 lub 6,
Zwiększyłbym głośność hitsoundów,
Zwiększyłbym SV w momentach Kiai (wiem, że nie chce Wam się mapować tych partów znowu, ale w refrenie są dużo bardziej nahype'owane momenty, więc wydaje mi się, że gracz powinien poczuć tam jakieś boosty do speeda :D)



Nie widzę nic więcej, myślę że mapka szybko dostanie ranka :D

-Note that most of these suggestions about the sliders were made under the assumption that you used curved sliders for sliders without ticks in them, and that when you used a linear slider, you made sure it had a bump or angle switch where the tick is. I also made the assumption that you used curved sliders when you needed to flow with a harsh angle, instead of using linear sliders.

-01:22:810 (3) - This slider should probably be curved because it would then fit your choice of making all sliders without ticks in them be curved. Even if it is at the top of the screen, you could make it curve downwards. This applies to 02:31:930 (3) - as well, but that one fits the section better since you seem to use a lot of linear sliders in that section between the kiais. This also applies to 03:26:650 (3) - and that one doesn't fit the section since the other sliders without ticks in them are all curved
-02:49:210 (1) - I think that this note should be stacked under the slider end, like how the other notes were stacked before it
-03:14:650 (4) - This slider should have a bump in its path, like most other linear sliders in the song. This applies to 03:31:930 (2) - as well.
-03:28:090 (2) - This slider doesn't match the other linear sliders, most of the other ones use red anchors solely, while this one has 2 whites and 1 red. I dont see anything such as vocals to fit this pattern so maybe it would be best to make it fit the rest

A bit nit-picky, but I find it hard to mess up an easy difficulty so I'm being really attentive.

Normal
-It seems that many of your sliders aren't matched up linearly perfectly. This seems to be done on purpose, although it does make the map a bit irregular. You may have done this because you wanted to make it less linear of a flow, but since there is slider leniency, it doesn't really matter and could be considered to look worse.

-01:17:050 (1) - I don't think this slider needs to become irregular like that, there is the kiai emphasis, but you don't repeat this on the other kiai starts. If you did this sort of slider on other kiai starts, it could make map more interesting, but as it stands, this slider is kinda weird.
-02:34:810 (2) - This note. It could probably be moved somewhere else to make the spacing easier to read because the slider after this note is further away on the timeline than most other notes, but it is stacked so it could be a bit misleading.
-03:12:250 (1) - You put the sharp curve on this slider because of the vocals, but there are at least two other sliders before this one that you could also do the same to. For example, 03:08:410 (1,4) - could also have the same effect applied to them.

Seems pretty good, but your like i mentioned before, the sliders are a bit irregular in terms of positioning so you should keep tha tin mind.

Hard
-What is with that title. What. Also, your use of irregular sliders is irregular. You seem to be using them to accentuate the vocals, but you aren't using them often enough to be consistent

-00:24:250 (4) - This note is spaced too far from the slider. Other notes with the same beat pattern don't have this jump, why should this one?
-00:42:010 (6) - This one is a bit subjective. I don't think I chose the first case in which this occurred, but your triples are spaced closer together than your sliders that follow right after each other, even though the beats follow a similar pattern. You could either move the slider patterns closer together, or move them further away so that they maintain the slider velocity flow and are more different from the triple patterns. I mention this because you sometimes have triples, triples into sliders, sliders that last onto the red and then follow onto another slider, or sliders with a note between them. These all add rhythm by using a blue tick, but they are a bit inconsistent. Maybe I'm just being stupid and you can ignore this me for this one.

[General]
Offset is really off. More correct offset is 227. You look like a new mapper so here are some tips on finding correct offset and fixing offset issues.
Tips
  1. After You've found the timing go to where your uninherited timing point is (red point) and slow the playback rate down to 25% and play through that part a couple of times. Listen out for where the first note (the note your timing point is meant to be on) is located. Try to pause on the exact instant the note starts. Then open the timing setup panel, select your uninherited timing point and click the "Use current time" button under the where the bpm and offset values are. You now have a fairly accurate offset. You can also adjust the offset value manually if you think the place you paused at was a bit too soon or late.
  2. Fixing incorrect offset involves a few more steps. Do everything I said above ^^^ but this time make note of the old offset and your new offset. Your offset was 250, the new offset I found was 227. Take the old one away from the new one and then you get what you have to adjust everything by. In this case its -23ms. Go to the timing setup panel and select all the timing points by hitting Ctrl+A then put -23 as the "Move offsets by" value, click "move" and "ok". You're not done yet. You also have to snap all the notes and the preview points back to the grid. Just go to the compose tab, hit Ctrl+A again and just drag everything back to the grid like so. Offsets that are 1-5ms off are usually tolerable, anything above 7ms is very untolerable. The delay becomes really noticeable especially on hards and insanes+.

Your offset was off by 23ms :P

Correct all the offsets before applying the mods as I'm using the offset I've given you.
[Easy]
00:21:347 (3) - Move that a tiny bit to the left so it looks nicer. Something like (8,148) would be good.
00:56:387 (3,4,1,2) - Curved anticlockwise motion here would fit much nicer with the music. The linear flow just doesn't feel right.
01:30:467 (3,4) - That doesn't look nice. Just do something like this to get rid of that overlap.
01:38:147 (3) - Move that a bit to the right (508,236)
01:46:307 (4,1,2) - That flow doesn't feel nice at all. A path like this would feel much nicer.
02:06:467 (4,1,2) - Similar to 00:56:387
02:12:707 (3) - Move a little to the left (16,152)
02:41:987 (2,4) - Overlap doesn't look nice.
02:58:787 (3,4) - ^
03:22:307 (4) - Rotate this 45 anticlockwise through selection center for better flow.

-03:14:650 (4) - This slider should have a bump in its path, like most other linear sliders in the song. This applies to 03:31:930 (2) - as well.
-03:28:090 (2) - This slider doesn't match the other linear sliders, most of the other ones use red anchors solely, while this one has 2 whites and 1 red. I dont see anything such as vocals to fit this pattern so maybe it would be best to make it fit the rest

A bit nit-picky, but I find it hard to mess up an easy difficulty so I'm being really attentive.

-It seems that many of your sliders aren't matched up linearly perfectly. This seems to be done on purpose, although it does make the map a bit irregular. You may have done this because you wanted to make it less linear of a flow, but since there is slider leniency, it doesn't really matter and could be considered to look worse.

-01:17:050 (1) - I don't think this slider needs to become irregular like that, there is the kiai emphasis, but you don't repeat this on the other kiai starts. If you did this sort of slider on other kiai starts, it could make map more interesting, but as it stands, this slider is kinda weird.
-02:34:810 (2) - This note. It could probably be moved somewhere else to make the spacing easier to read because the slider after this note is further away on the timeline than most other notes, but it is stacked so it could be a bit misleading.
-03:12:250 (1) - You put the sharp curve on this slider because of the vocals, but there are at least two other sliders before this one that you could also do the same to. For example, 03:08:410 (1,4) - could also have the same effect applied to them.

Seems pretty good, but your like i mentioned before, the sliders are a bit irregular in terms of positioning so you should keep tha tin mind.

-What is with that title. What. Also, your use of irregular sliders is irregular. You seem to be using them to accentuate the vocals, but you aren't using them often enough to be consistent

-00:24:250 (4) - This note is spaced too far from the slider. Other notes with the same beat pattern don't have this jump, why should this one?
-00:42:010 (6) - This one is a bit subjective. I don't think I chose the first case in which this occurred, but your triples are spaced closer together than your sliders that follow right after each other, even though the beats follow a similar pattern. You could either move the slider patterns closer together, or move them further away so that they maintain the slider velocity flow and are more different from the triple patterns. I mention this because you sometimes have triples, triples into sliders, sliders that last onto the red and then follow onto another slider, or sliders with a note between them. These all add rhythm by using a blue tick, but they are a bit inconsistent. Maybe I'm just being stupid and you can ignore this me for this one.

I maked sliders look like as they look because I just wanted it like it. It isn't like that because I wanted to follow music more, I think they follow music normally now so it's ok for me. D: Also I was following beats in Hard and later vocals so that's why it can be not same for you all the times. Also I used different (but the same) spacing for two objects and another spacing for streams but it's has been the same forever. Thanks for checking!

Offset is really off. More correct offset is 227. You look like a new mapper so here are some tips on finding correct offset and fixing offset issues.
Tips
  1. After You've found the timing go to where your uninherited timing point is (red point) and slow the playback rate down to 25% and play through that part a couple of times. Listen out for where the first note (the note your timing point is meant to be on) is located. Try to pause on the exact instant the note starts. Then open the timing setup panel, select your uninherited timing point and click the "Use current time" button under the where the bpm and offset values are. You now have a fairly accurate offset. You can also adjust the offset value manually if you think the place you paused at was a bit too soon or late. Krfawy's offset is better, sorry. :(
  2. Fixing incorrect offset involves a few more steps. Do everything I said above ^^^ but this time make note of the old offset and your new offset. Your offset was 250, the new offset I found was 227. Take the old one away from the new one and then you get what you have to adjust everything by. In this case its -23ms. Go to the timing setup panel and select all the timing points by hitting Ctrl+A then put -23 as the "Move offsets by" value, click "move" and "ok". You're not done yet. You also have to snap all the notes and the preview points back to the grid. Just go to the compose tab, hit Ctrl+A again and just drag everything back to the grid like so. Offsets that are 1-5ms off are usually tolerable, anything above 7ms is very untolerable. The delay becomes really noticeable especially on hards and insanes+.

Your offset was off by 23ms :P

Correct all the offsets before applying the mods as I'm using the offset I've given you.

  8. 02:34:810 (2,3,4,5) - now this rhytm seems a little off. it's kinda unexpected and the 1/2 beats can be very confusing for beginners. especially because of the stack, it makes the pattern harder to read, so it might be better to unstack (4,5). (same goes for the following 1/2 stacks)

  2. 00:16:090 (3,4) - is there any reason for a jump here? seems rather random to me. (except for symmetry maybe, but that's not really noticeable, cause slider vs circles..) I prefer standard DS here.
    if you want to keep the jump, there should be one here, too 00:18:010 (3,4) - cause it's the same rhythm

Normal and advance made by creator, that should be consistency. Example on Normal 01:05:530 (1) - on begin that addition is soft but on Advanced is auto, no only this part there more parts example and I can't find wich more correct for you. Try be more consistency Hitsound.

The map is k, I won't say anything about copy-paste patterns since they're ofc not unrankable, BUT that's not because someone did it than that's the good example to follow. It was a style, but clearly more "diversity" on patterns is nice nowadays. So just don't be lazy for your next map and avoid copy-paste patterns.

Hard : 02:34:330 - what about this one ? Since you did it for 02:36:010 - would have more sense to do both. Also you totally broke the spacing between them.

About souce, I see the point but since the music have also it own clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpoIxKkJ1G4 with a different version (not movie ver.), I still think you should not put it into source. Ask a QAT about this before pushing this set futher.

The song has been created for the movie and then, added in a new album release as bonus track.

For me, the source should be the movie/game/album which release the song for the first time so it makes sense here.

Sure it's not unrankeable, but regarding the quality put in ranked maps this past year, you should be able to guess some sort of quality standard (or quality minimum) as an unwritten rule.

If this wasn't the case then i could just start mapping circles only on white ticks and call it an easy dif. Do the same with some circles on the red ticks, call it a normal and i got myself a "rankable" map. I bet this kind of map would be the most boring thing you could play but... 2007 mapping kinda made the same thing right /s ?

and btw pls dont compare copy pasting the EXACT SAME THING MULTIPLE TIMES (4-5 mb?) to fill in the same verse and the chorus, with "copy paste" styles of people like andrea.

This is ridiculous...

When a mapper maps something, there should be an intended experience that they want to provide for the player. This varies wildly depending on the mapper's personal investment into the song, how much they like it, and how much they understand it, but when you get right down to it, every single map from every single mapper has origins based in the thought process of "I want the player to feel like this while playing".

I can safely guess in this case it was "I want the players to fall asleep."



Because repeating the same thing over and over is a very effective lullaby.

We talked a bit ingame about general things. Now to get specific:

[Hard]

  1. 02:33:850 (1,1) - This is the calmest section of the song and the music is almost silent (there is only a few sounds), so I really don't think these slidershapes fit here. It would be better to go for something simple here, like curved sliders or wave sliders for example.
  2. 03:35:290 - Remove the Normal Finish, please. The music is fading here and there is no sound to support such a strong hitsound here. Same applies for the other diffs.
Yep, that's it already.

As I already said ingame, this map is filled with unique slidershapes one might argue they don't fit the music too well. However I think the concept is fine, especially for a first map, since the map is very simplistic otherwise.
